Would've been nice to get another Distant Counter fodder, but oh well.

Who is your favorite artist for the game?

Tobi definitely tops the list for me. There's just something about the artist's soft outlines and vibrant colors used in those character's art that really stand out in a good way. My particular favorites from Tobi that come to mind are NY!Takumi, Clive, and Canas.

Miyajima Haru for her art of Lyon and Soren and Yamada Kotaro for his art of Exalt Chrom are also up there. I know the latter also draws art for FE:Cipher, and he even drew art of a Chrom card at one point. He draws some pretty good Chrom fanart.

I've been contemplating on obtaining FE Heroes, but I have three problems:

1. I don't want to be a late sucker being late and have none of the good ****
2. I don't want to buy into gacha (both in persuasion and literal money)
3. Why the **** is the into so loud oh my god

maybe Opossum will somehow make me do it

For the first point, between all the free stuff new players get and the year-and-change worth of story maps to get orbs from, there's still a lot of good stuff to be had, and opportunities to get them.

For the second point, obviously I couldn't in good consciousness recommend the game to someone with gambling issues, since it's a gacha and all. However, just remember that pretty much everything in the game can be done using free stuff, as multiple online guides for e harder content have shown. And if you do want to spend, consider getting the monthly bonus pack that comes with Black Knight as a free bonus, or try to get App Store gift cards on sale to lower the cost further. But also make sure to set orb spending limits. In my case, since I'm F2P, I'm making sure I never dip below 200 orbs in case one of my favorites is added (Lena, Silque, Julian, Valbar, SD!Hardin), Minerva comes back on a banner, or a Celica banner pops up for merges. Other than that I pretty much don't spend. Just use what you get and save for what you want.

Can't help on the third thing though. As Sharena says, FIRE EMBLEM. HEROES.

The only real word of warning for new FE Heroes players is that the game has a TON of mechanics now that weren't there when the game launched. It's a much deeper game now.

For launch period players who haven't stayed away from the game for too long, we were eased into this stuff slowly. For new players though, you're gonna get this boatload of information and mechanics dumped on you almost all at once.

A friend of mine tried getting into the game and said this was a problem for him.

boring days passed on by, all the elephant meat rotted away but we made a lot off food from it even if we wasted thousand meat, still went on building power and the rec rooms and the sidewalks...so just gonna share interesting events that happened

a thunderstorm came on by and actually lit our corn fields on fire, it didnt' last that long as the rain put out the fire again but ya, found it interesting how it was nearby me and it looks like i caused it lol

yellow got food poisoning, happens on random chance, our cooks are good so you don't see it often but it can always happen, he just vommited around outside trying to tame alpacas so no harm there

speaking of alpacas were actually overrun by them now lol, their jjust walking all over and were traing them with obedience to follow just in case one of them becomes a pet

also i learned the hard way don't build a wood power generter

it didn't do much at all, it only powered up about 13 lights andd leaving half the place dark, it was a waste off steel and components, oh well building some windmills, they'll cause burnouts occasionally when the winds down, but at least they'll power everything we need them too

anyway thats about it, been a ffew dull days.

To be fair, there aren't a ton of options for healer A-Skills, and even less that are F2P friendly

Azama's Atk stat being hot rotten trash but his Def and HP being bulky gives him one particularly interesting out.

He's a beefy, beefy, beefy, beefy healer. That's four times the beefy for those playing the home game.

If you let him lean on Pain+ and his teammates to kill, you can thus wall physical folks off no problem with Fortress Def 3. If you've happened to pull a 4* Seth, it's around. The caveat being, of course, that this ****s over Candlelight.

You could sub in HP+5 (off 4* Arthur, Donnel, Marisa, or Seliph) or Def+3 (off 4* Clive, M!Corn, or Stahl) if you wanted to have a little more beef on a budget. And that's just the quick and dirty options I know offhand.

Disclaimer: Distilling the wiki. All I know is how to snipe for Grimas.
