People told me Crash Bandicoot were hard games. I am fine with that. I can handle most hard games, from bloodborne to horribly hard platformers, etc.
I can handle difficulty-hard. But, turns out, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is broken hard. As in, the games are borderline broken and 90% of all deaths are horribly cheap. :/ I am still enjoying it (tho I skipped the rest of Crash one after I saw there is ANOTHER damn Rope Bridge level), and while Crash 2 is better so far, it is still near-impossible to see where you are at all times. Crash is the slipperiest mascot I have controlled, and because of how his lanky body does a twist in the air, it is even harder to know where to land, especially during a LOT of moments when his shadow is not really visible.
I get that these are faithful remakes of a aged trilogy, and since I did not grow up with Crash, I try to not give it TOO much flak, but man, nearly every level has broken hitboxes and impossible angles and cameras. :/
Crash 2 is still better so far, but those polar bear levels...
