It bothers me when people say Hyrule Warriors on Switch looks "so much more colourful" than on Wii U.

That's because you're comparing Hyrule Field which went through a literal lighting change on Switch to be like the 3DS version's sunny day time version of the level. While the Wii U version had more of a dark and ominous grey clouds sky for Hyrule Field. Said sky also took advantage of the game's directional shadows to have the clouds cast moving shadows onto the ground that looked really nice, and they just took that system out of the Switch version.

Look man all I'm saying is, with Guilty Gear Accent Core + R, Smash Ultimate, and now ****in Skullgirls, it's weird how much of a fightgame the Switch has become.
Import one of the good MvCs, and maybe Xrd if you can, and they're ****ing golden. I'll even settle with Blazblue Central Fiction.
Also Unist. Unist is a must.

I mean, I played Mortal Kombat as a kid and I turned out fine.

Though I do agree that if you know your kid is easily influenced by the media, you have to control their intake until they are older.

There's a lot of problems in society that can be boiled down to "raise your kids better".
