I’m playing through old school Final Fantasy with The Stoopid Unikorn as the fighter, redfeatherraven as the black belt, Natz~ as the black mage and me as the white mage.

With Boom Knuckles, I'm not a fan of his design. But, he is a pretty good character in the Boom cartoon.

It's kinda suspect that Shadow is missing.

The blurb from today didn't say something like "Knuckles now joins Shadow etc etc" so it feels like there's something going on. But it could also be us reading too much into it.

You can fight on Duck Hunt with Duck Hunt and have the dog still show up as a hazard. It's possible, it'd be that thing in Injustice where Black Manta is both a hazard and a fighter.

So, I started a thing today...here's a bit of a sample, not much else in the image so far since it's basically still in the sketching phase, but decided to share it regardless.

Yeah, Guess who...I generally always like to give a more original design for any paintings even if they are fanart (exceptions for the stuff I did for the MetroidDatabase Bestiary since they had to be more or less the exact design from which ever game the creature's from)

gonna try a different approach to making this piece. Usually I do a rough line sketch then start blocking in shapes afterwards, but this time I decided to try to block in the shapes first, then come back later with the finer details. It is usually a better appraoch to painting since you want to start big (heh) then work in the finer stuff later.

Also wanted to start with at least some colour, because drawing or silhouetting with pure black makes it a little difficult to colourize later since pure black is something that we rarely ever see in nature (of course giant purple space dragons don't happen much in nature either but you get my point). So far I like the pose and how well his silhouette looks, I do have an idea of a setting and I think it'll be one people may appreciate.

Yeah but we're talking if Sonic is gonna get 2 ATs or if Shadow is either gone or upgraded to character.
