My Monday is going ok. Volunteering at a summer camp during mornings for the week, and also cleaning at a daycare center for a couple hours in the afternoon as well. To put it painly...I'm wiped lol. Looking forward to sleeping tonight.

So the big chunk I wanted to talk about was this:

Smash is one of Nintendo’s premiere titles. Even though Smash doesn’t put out a lot of merchandise besides amiibo, Smash supports a lot of other games, serving a sort of promotional role. In addition, since it’s a huge collaborative project, it exerts a large influence on other titles. So there’s always the possibility of another Smash game being released, and it’s possible there might be a Smash someday that I’m not involved in.
However, I think that “Everyone is here!” is something that won’t be repeated. Anything is possible, of course, so I can’t rule anything out entirely, but I still think this won’t happen again.
For starters, bringing back every fighter drastically increases the cost of development. Merely attempting to do this requires a lot of time, personnel, and money. Even something that looks like a simple port has a huge number of manhours behind it. Moreover, in the case of Smash, we can’t simply create whatever we want. I have to receive approval from the original creators of the characters, and I need to reflect their feedback. If this feedback differs from the direction we’ve taken with a character in Smash, then it’s our job to reconcile this disparity no matter how much time or energy it takes. Contractual agreements and other legal issues can also make development exceedingly difficult. In reality, it was quite a challenge to bring every fighter back, and I barely made it work. Frankly, it almost didn’t happen.
And yes, I know: from a fan’s perspective, more fighters joining the fray is a given. Regardless of what may happen during development, players assume that characters who appeared in the previous game will automatically come back.

So first and foremost not everyone coming back for like Smash 6 yeah that makes sense. That is 68 or so characters it's a lot including third parties. The fact this happened is a miracle in of itself. Like that's a lot of **** to put work into.

The other one is this:
"So there’s always the possibility of another Smash game being released, and it’s possible there might be a Smash someday that I’m not involved in."
Like yeah it's become a joke about whether or not he'll do the next Smash, he says it all the time. But I'd be curious what would happen. I mean It's happened before in game franchises, it's not surprising if someone else takes the mantle. but it'll be interesting to see where his hypothetical successor takes the route.
Like really Smash Bros as a whole has been Sakurai's journey to make either a party game or a fighting game, and whether whoever is next will go one direction or another.

Yeah, NES FF, it was optimal to use the physical classes the most, but other versions, I love using a team of all three magic classes + Knight.

It'll be on main stage, but Evo streams usually have like 4 official ones to show multiple games that are being played at once.

There's plenty of side tourneys too.

So I ain't by any means complaining.

But Red Mages remain my personal favorite. Having access to that many options and that kind of wardrobe just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Black Belt wasn't all that helpful in 8-bit Theatre.

Then again the ony one who really contributed to saving the world was White Mage.

I got an NES Classic on Friday and for Final Fantasy I chose the same team I used for the Dawn of Souls version which happens to be the same team from 8-bit Theatre. A happy coincidence but not sure how well it actually works for the original game.
