Take away whatever concept you figure Smash Boards is right now and toss it to the side.

Smash Boards optimal minimal redesign:

-Only 5 sections and abandon subsections including character pages. Character pages can now be just individual community threads people subscribe to, think K. Rool fan threads etc but people discuss the game as well.

All other Smash games
Off Topic and Other Games

Nintendo section is gone everything can be delegated to the Off topic section where NintenZone can essentially just be the place we socialize in the section.

Drastic change, and will never happen, but I think it would make it easier to chat with people and with much less boards it'd be a lot more active. It's also easier to remember threads when they are all in one spot instead of scattered into a billion sub sections.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go back to slowly going mad because the Terraria devs still don't have a date on when they're releasing the Switch port of that over a year after they announced it. Like at least I know it's gonna be a thing unlike an Uprising Sequel, a Ratchet and Clank game that actually moves on with the plot that was established almost a decade ago, Sonic Team giving a crap about Tails, etc. But guuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh
