I'm ready to avoid disappointment by giving myself the lowest expectations possible, even if I don't want them or think they'll ever happen;

• Smash 5 is a port
• Everything is ports
• 75% of it is just comedy sketches with nothing to reveal
• Cammie Dunaway makes a comeback

No matter what Nintendo shows, it'll definitely crush these expectations :^)

Technically they will be, as they've said that levels will now have a combat version of each track, IIRC.

I imagine that just means some extra drums and bass and the like for the combat versions, though.

You know, during Square Enix's E3, they asked what everyone's 'hail mary' for the presentation would be. Like, a long-shot, but best-case-scenario type of thing. So, what's everyone's long-shot, unlikely, but personal best-case-scenario for today?

For me, a new Star Fox game and seeing either Wolf return or a Star Fox newcomer in Smash would be mine.

Because they're salty about these "top-tiered pay-to-win *******" and would rather not have them and make others unhappy than ruin their own experience, without even thinking about the game could change to either nerf them or make others more capable of keeping up with them.

If Wolf is back, I don't expect to see him today.

He'd probably be an unlockable, and they're always revealed after launch (aside from a few special cases, like Lucina in Smash 4 and Snake/Sonic in Brawl).

I've never really seen any rage over Cloud. Maybe a few people here and there saying he doesn't fit due to his loose connection with Nintendo, but I think the reaction to his addition was mostly positive.

Bayo's seems to mostly come from conspiracy theorists who are just mad that K. Rool/Ridley/Isaac/(insert other popular character here) didn't win the ballot.

Dark Pit was pretty unanimously the most hated pre-DLC newcomer, and Corrin was probably the most controversial Smash newcomer in the series' history thus far.

If Cloud and Bayo DIDN'T come back, I'm fairly certain more people would be upset about that than if they returned.

I'm not looking forward to Cloud being cut, myself, and a small part of me believes it is a certainty.

I'm not a hungry virgin, so I'm okay with Bayo being cut.
