I'm using GIMP and a mouse, specifically, and I typically cut out everything by hand. Zoom in, feather a selection, erase until I like it. Where the left arm and left breast were cut off by what I assume was lettering I was working to reconstruct it with a mix of heal, clone, smudge, and brushwork.
Ain't what one would call efficient.
Either of you got some good masking resources? For results like this, I'll happily take a crack at it your way.
