Unique and creative, but gimmicky, don't you think? I kind of feel it'll probably wear off sooner than expected unless it sells like crazy, which may lead them to make more sets...

I think Nintendo's learned that whenever there are doubts about a product selling well, underproduce it and create a massive craze trying to get one.

It seems like they have plans to make more. I wouldn't be surprised if we start seeing Labo kits for specific Nintendo games now. They'll be like amiibo, except they'll actually do something for you.

Amiibo was like that for most amiibos...
NES however, Nintendo already said it was a limited produce... They never knew it will be a huge hit.
I doubt there will be anyone who will by Labo for scalper price...

This creates two big advantages with the Labo being cardboard.

One, swapping manufacturing processes is a breeze. If it's all using a standardized cardboard square as the base, and then having shapes punched into it (to be punched out and assembled by the user later) it's literally changing some printing dies and calling it a day. Manufacturing more or less of any given Labo will be simple and inexpensive; most of Labo's $70 price tag probably comes from the software.

Two, people can just make their own cardboard parts for Labo if they so choose, by printing out appropriate templates and overlaying them onto a wide enough sheet of cardboard. Google Cardboard offers that kind of functionality already. This means that the Labo software - which should be available from eShop - will technically be all that's required to purchase from Ninty themselves in order to play - the rest can be homemade. Personally I'd like to craft my own custom robot parts just knowing that.

The latter point also makes things very interestingly expandable - later Labo software updates, or templates/updates for things that could be used in other games. They've effectively opened the floor to official DIY accessories.

Yeah I know it's just cardboard, but honestly guys, this is a hell of a move.

With how quests are more lengthy in Xenoblade Chronicles 2... I bet those quest will make me stuck at certain chapters even more.
My guess here is... With the expansion pack so far, I might play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 up to 400 hours, and I don't think I will be even finishing the story.
If New rare Blades are just give out (and they got to have their own blade quest) depending on the quest length, it will push my XC2 gameplay time about 15~90 hours...
I really hope they won't just announce a new rare blade and those who got the expansion pass still need to grind resonate it by ourselves...

No, no, no. These are just replicas. Magitek deal, very interesting.

But modifying the structure of your horn would diminish its power, and I can't have that, so no tweaks there.

I've been looking around for some natural horn enhancements, but so far I haven't found one that works as advertised.

I also need to share something that is useful, especially those who might considering,
- Want a protection shell for Switch, but don't know which to choose...
- If got a shell case for Switch, how to still hook it to dock without taking it off?

I'm pretty sure others already have solution, but I highly recommend to avoid the silicon protection wraps for Switch...

I remember use silicon wrap on my first 3DS XL, turns out the silicon wrap will make some parts of the surface of plastic of the console smooth?
Just look at my console to know what I mean... this was taken 2 months ago... and now it's a bit worse... it is only the aesthetic but still a bit annoying that you cannot get rid of the smooth smudges...

Not sure if the plastic will also do the trick but I did it with my New 3DS XL with the plastic shell, and it has one one or two weird damp scratch... nothing too bad.

I may be buying a plastic shell for my Switch, but I prefer the ones that you can still detach the Joy cons and still manage to slid the straps.
If you prefer never taking off your Joy Cons or just go full handheld, it's nothing odd to pick the shell case that are all in one.

As for how I connect my Switch to dock, basically I did this, like what most people do:

I actually bought a better USB type C Extension cable which looks like this:

This one is better since it is hard for the cable to pop up, but takes a bit of accuracy to plug the cable into the dock...
So if you don't trust those mini docks that are on the market, these solutions are more cheaper and safer, but downside is that this isn't very convenient...

Today is just the ****ing worst. I had to cycle 11km in wind so strong that we had to stop busses from travelling because ****ing trees fell over. Then my paypal doesn't work for some reason regardless if I reset the password and now that ****ing orange skinned **** for brains in the US is making a bill that allows doctors to refuse to help trans people. That last one isn't just "I don't want to perform sex change surgeries", but it's letting doctors legally go "I don't like trans people so I refuse to perform vital heart surgery, refuse to look at a broken limb" and more. I'm so ****ing livid

Well, I'm rather excited as next week, the new Overwatch Non-Seasonal cosmetics are coming out as well as Blizzard World.

Not to mention they are slowly revealing what the new cosmetics are. They first showed off the 8 that were revealed at Blizzcon, but today, they just recently showed Pharah's new skin(which is frickin' gorgeous). Also, we know that D.Va, Lucio and Hanzo have new skins, as the new Sprays show off the characters in different skins, including the new ones for the revealed characters.

Either way, it's going to be exciting for Overwatch players next week.

I showed my little sisters the Nintendo Labo trailer because one likes the Switch and the other likes arts & crafts. They thought it was hilarious and were interested in it. Seems like a solid gift idea in the future. Blown away that Nintendo came up with yet another experience, never would have guessed cardboard, and if I had it wouldn’t have been nearly as creative. Seriously, a lot of those tools looked complicated to make... Wouldn’t mind trying it myself just to see how it all goes together.
