Been playing the Cross Tag Beta.
Favorite Combos so far are Hyde/Ruby, Hyde/Yu, and Es/Linne.

Also, apparently Chie and Waldstein have an intro, which I haven't seen online yet.
Speaking on online, the recent showcase of Orie, Kanji, Blake, and Platinum was pretty good.

Orie's Engilsh voice actor is exactly who I expected it to be.

I recall you saying that Threaten Speed helps Ayra use her blade faster, but Threaten Attack helps me survive better.

Having both would likely be the most helpful.

Speed for Arya due to how her blade works.

Attack for a wall (not Hector since Goad can boost Grima) since they're likely the frontliners to soak up damage anyway.

Threaten Speed would stop some of that, but not all of it. There's a lot of speedster Reds.

I've played plenty of Marvel vs Capcom series, Killer Instinct, and a small amounts of Street Fighter. These aren't problems for me. I've been hearing about the slipperyness with the stick on this game but I always play fighting games with the d-pad (and I haven't had any problems with that in this game)

Part of the reason I took a month long break from FE Heroes was because I burned myself out on mobile games and "daily login" games in general. The other reason was that I was getting bored of the game after +10 merging Clair and literally none of the new characters interested me, mostly because they were alts - until Kinshi Hinoka came around, who is an alt, lol.

I was playing FE Heroes, Kingdom Hearts: Union X (I'M BOUND TO ALWAYS COME BACK TO THIS ONE BECAUSE IT'S CANON AAAAAH), Dissidia: Opera Omnia, and Sonic Forces: Speed Battle all at once. I also briefly played FF: Record Keeper because of the Kingdom Hearts event they had.

Additionally, I was trying to play at least one round in Dissidia NT every day.

All of this while working a full-time job.

I don't see why addressing the theme of racism makes it not a kids film. Isn't anti-racism something we should be preachin' to the kiddies?

Granted, I haven't actually watched Zootopia so I don't know how deep it really goes. But what I say is more a matter of principle.

It is something we should most definitely be teaching kids, but it personally made me as an adult admire it more as a serious movie more than a fun light hearted kid's film.

Because it's used as an allegory, and thus is approachable to younger audiences. While older audiences won't feel alienated because the races aren't specifically based on any human race. Though I do feel the story is very American/Western. So I don't know how that'll apply to every country.

I'm finally watching Monty Python and the Holy Grail because iT was finally added to Netflix BR, I've heard a lot of praise(and memes) for this film over the years so I was scared it wouldn't live up to its hype and be a good but outdated comedy.
I'm so happy to have all my expectations and worries crushed, I'm just 12 minutes in and it's already one of the best comedy movies I have ever watched. It's actually kind of incredible how GOOD this movie aged. I want to say more about it but I think I'll try finishing it first.

I mean, a lot of Disney and Pixar movies deal with very serious themes for kids movies. I love Zootopia and how it handles the theme of racism but it's not the only one to handle "mature themes"

I know this isn't the only Disney and Pixar film that deals with serious themes.

It just felt like the only one where the serious theme was so overt and such a core focus of the plot and film that some of the light hearted nature typically used to hide the fact you're being taught a lesson was left behind.

Like I don't remember laughing very much at Zootopia, but damn if it isn't a good film.

That's also why I like the X-Men comics handling this stuff instead of a lot other comics. Having it as an allegory helps to appeal to more people without being too blunt. It allows everyone to be put in their shoes. That's why the best Spider-Man and Flash comics work too, the best writers depict them as normal men trying to do their best to help people. Everyone can connect with that. The stories where they interact with their communities are usually pretty good. I mean there's some comics that can handle the topic of race while still being good, but some of them are pretty heavy handed and preachy.

And then you get comics like that time Superman turned Lois Lane into a black woman to get her to stop being racist. Or that time the Punisher was black for like 2 weeks and it made his job of murdering all crime even harder.

Although that one comic with Spider-Man and the Falcon was okay. The villain was motivated by racism because his rich brother was helping the inner-city while he wanted to take that cash-flow for himself.
