Increasing the rarity of a unit deletes all the merges that unit has, meaning you effectively waste the number of units you merged to that character. Using the Hana example, if you upgrade the 1 star Hana and merge her with the 2 star Hana, you'll have a 2 star + 1 Hana. However, if you upgrade that 2+1 Hana to three stars, it would be like you never merged the 2 star Hana, being just a regular 3 star. This is something that the game should make clearer, because I have a couple of friends that merged their 4 stars units and then upgraded them to 5 stars thinking they would keep all the merges they had, but it doesn't work that way.

If you want to keep your Hana 4 star and want to upgrade her, you have to first upgrade the other Hanas to 4 stars, and then merge them. That's why 5 star merged unit are so rare and strong, because you need extra 5 stars copies of the unit you want to merge. Hopefully this was useful.

Another video of my Leon tackling an Infernal map in Heroes; this time, the Lyn legendary hero battle:

For this map, he needed Lancebreaker, Quickened Pulse, and Dragon Fang, plus the Drive Atk seal on Ninian, in order to be able to kill the lance knight on turn 1. Just changing to a 3-cooldown special wouldn't have worked, as it would have messed up the timing of when the specials triggered later in the map, and would have left him unable to kill certain enemies at the right time. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward, except for some Wings of Mercy and Reposition stuff. Would probably work with any other brave archer who can achieve 55ish Atk, such as a +atk Bride Cordelia, though I'm less sure if she would be able to survive the hit from the Firesweep Lance flier.

- Android 16 and Adult Gohan got significant nerfs
- Broly got nerfed (LOL)
- Vegeta's assist got a nerf so minor they might as well left it alone
- Most of the balance changes were actually bug fixes
- Kid Buu got a minor nerf and ended up trending on Twitter for it
- Cell walked away a free man

Well as long as A. Gohan is still playable, I'm good I guess. It sounds like he's not completely bopped. But I guess his pressure is a fair bit weaker for now.

Poor Broly though.

That and he needs a buff. He becomes pretty obsolete by end-game, especially after Chapter 7, and in NG+ where two of the NG+ Blades are really good and Nia is their best Driver. He's pretty much designed entirely for the early game.

The only reason I won't take him off Nia in NG+ is because I like riding on his back sometimes. Plus he's useful for breaking out of bounds and other such shenanigans.

Alright, so I'm back from that geek-cultured convention I talked about in my last post here.

I was going to put a last statement about my yet-another-so-controversial post, but I lost the feeling to do it and I'll let it slide.

However, for the sake of courtesy and common sense, stop with these snarky attitudes every time I, or another user, say what I think about something even if it doesn't always please you, by giving dozens of likes to messages made to counter me.

It's not already easy to argue with several people, but it's even more disencouraging, and even disheartening, to see dozens of people punching you 10 times more.

I'm normally open to debate and to explain things quietly, but if you keep to maintain this kind of defensiveness to the point to apply the "Kamiya" method, things won't get better.

MHA is great. I was looking for something to read after Naruto, Bleach, and Fairy Tail ended, so I gave it a shot. It wound up being so addicting that I read through the entire series in a day or two!

For Sasuke, (spoilers are likely, but I'll spoiler tag end-of-series stuff) I don't like that the plot seems to bend over backwards to make it seem like he's forgivable after everything he's done. He belittles (and later, tries to murder) Naruto and Sakura? He's still their friend - he's just misunderstood! Meanwhile, he rarely if ever treated them in a way that could be called friendly. During the Zabuza arc, he looked down on Naruto; there was a bit during the Chunin exams where they were equals, but after Naruto gets stronger than him thanks to fights with Gaara and Kabuto, Sasuke immediately tries to murder him and doesn't really stop until the end of the series.

He rarely has to train in order to develop his powers, often getting them handed to him on a silver platter (Naruto may rush through he training process, but at least he puts in effort), and in the end, all of the Uchihas are basically let off scot-free because they're somehow genetically predisposed towards "loving too much", which turns them into self-centered homicidal lunatics.

Even attempting to murder the leaders of the world on multiple occasions is completely forgiven due to a half-hearted apology.

The Uchiha clan as a whole was pretty bad - Itachi's a God Mode Sue,

Obito was a likable character until it revealed that his entire motivation for turning evil and wanting to trap the whole world in an illusion was because the girl that he had a crush on died, and Madara was the villainous equivalent of a God Mode Sue who was inexplicably overpowered, kept getting more powers that outright ignored established concepts, and never really got comeuppance

, but Sasuke is easily one of the worst ones to read about (it's between him or the last one in the spoiler tag) because the story kept insisting that he's actually redeemable and Naruto's best friend despite all evidence to the contrary.

Everything that happens after the Pain arc just feels like Kishimoto drew himself into a corner and started to write contrived **** on top of contrived **** to continue the manga. And Sasuke is certainly the one who suffers the most, having a cohesive, even if an oying, characterization that gets thrown out of the window as soon as his character arc is finished because Kishimoto needed a Naruto vs. Sasuke battle for the ending.

Yeah Sasuke became utter trash pretty quickly. Mainly because the series insisted he could be redeemed without any actual effort on his part. Had he been a full on villain, then it'd be fine, but excuses kept being made as to why he wasn't a total ****, even though we know is.

It's like the exact opposite of Vegeta. Vegeta started out as a full on villain, then reluctant ally, had a moment of relapse and slowly became about as heroic as Goku and Gohan, hell, him and Gohan have similar motivations for protecting their families in DBS, just that Vegeta also has his rivalry with Goku, and that he doesn't like showing how much he cares on the outside.

Sasuke was an alright rival in Part 1 though.

Good explanation. I had the same issues with Sasuke's character as well.

But Itachi I actually liked. Yeah, he can come off as a God Mode Sue sometimes, but he does have that gray morality with his issues with his own family (even though his family WAS corrupt when they were alive). I think it's good that his character died tbh because it gave him some tangible flaw: over-using his own powers in a sometimes reckless way and thus makes him weaker over time. TBH he might be my favorite character in the series.

I do like a lot of the characters in the series, but yeah the cast isn't perfect. Sasuke gets annoying for me, and I agree with a lot of what you said.
