You're one of the nicest, most level-headed and rational people I've met on this site.

You always seem to be more than willing to help other people out when they need it.

I might not need to say more when so many other people here have been saying many of these same things to you tonight. Don't take any of that lightly. You've got friends here, we recognize all of those strengths and the good you've done.

We might not know what you're going through right now, but whatever it is, don't let it bring you down for long. Everyone faces hurdles in life sometimes.

True, but either way, begging for likes on that support post instantly removes all of its meaning because it gives the feeling that it was done for a selfish and greedy reason (getting likes) rather than for the sake of actually bring helpful.

You don't get brownie points for comforting other people. Being a decent human being is supposed to be the reward in itself. Asking for more makes your attempt at niceness come off as insincere. And I'm being this gentle about it largely because people are on your case 24/7, but doing this is a BIG no-no.
