On the very first legendary banner I spent about ninety F2P orbs going for Celica, but I figured Ayra and Ike would be neat too. Heavy Blade for Chrom and Ayra for the barracks.

Only thing I got was a really high pity rate. Never spent an orb on legendary banner afterward, and only did free pulls.

So far, the only ones I had good luck on were the Fjorm, Gunnthra and Robin Banners, where:
For Fjorm, I got 2 Ikes, an Ayra, a Caeda and a Camilla.
For Gunnthra, I got Gunnthra, Innes and Charlotte.
For Robin, I got Brave Lucina, H!Sakura and a Brave Lyn for Swift Sparrow.

Ike and Ephraim were my bad luck ones, where the only heroes I got from them were Summer Robin and Summer Corrin respectively and it was very painful trying to get a 5* from them in the first place. Admittingly, I did want Robin and Corrin, and at the same time, I had very bad luck when trying to get them on the Summer Banners and I only got a Gaius and 2 Xanders from them. I'm wondering if I get very bad luck in general when those two are on a Banner.

Anyway, got 85 Orbs set up for the Lyn Banner. Wish me luck.

Speaking of RPGs though, I finally got enough of a break in finals week to start playing Trails in the Sky.
So far, the battle system a bit difficult to get used to. It's pretty different to how it is in the ToCS games.
I'm not really at all that far yet, just at the farm.

Yeah the battle system changes quite a bit over the course of the series. FC is definitely much slower pased and missing a lot of the stuff that makes the battles feel more exciting/interactive. Additionally CS1 and Sky FC are kinda polar opposites, in the sense that in FC Arts are OP and crafts are situational at best, while it's reversed in CS1.

Though I definitely prefer the Sky games' Orbment system to the CS games....personally feels more satisfying to me to have to arrange the right combination of Quartz to get the Arts you want rather than just "equip the Quart that grants Art X" like it is in CS, even if it's not as intuitive

Yeah, I noticed the chest messages.

I'll admit, so far I prefer the orbment system of ToCS. Maybe I'll get used to the system here, but I still think I prefer the ToCS system so far.

I like the battle theme though, I wasn't expecting it to be so chill.

You shouldn't feel like that, really: you just need to learn from what others are telling you. Specifically, this includes not tagging people who have been offline for a long time (a month or more as a general range), liking posts that you shouldn't like at all, and actually reading posts so you don't contradict yourself. This extends to what's happening in your mafia session right now.

Not trying to be harsh here, but I'm being honest. A lot of people here just want you to understand what you're doing wrong so you can fix and not repeat these mistakes in the future. You're a genuinely good kid, Shiny, you just need to learn from these experiences.

Not Ao, but I played the leaked PSP fan translation of Zero a while ago.

I enjoyed it, personally more than either CS1/2 and maybe about on par with the Sky games. In terms of the overall experience it's probably one of my favorites, though the Sky games beat it strictly on story/characters.

It's definitely a middle ground between the sky and CS games. Countering was added in Zero, the way you encounter enemies on the overworld is similar to CS, and there's Team Rushes(I think that's their name, can't remember), though they work differently than team attacks in the CS games(They're actually a turn even in Zero). The orbment system is pretty much like Sky's though. I actually think Zero is one of the better games at balancing the effectiveness of Arts vs. Crafts.

To me, some strengths that you have as a person are that you're kind, friendly, helpful, understanding, and thoughtful. In addition, I understand that you're wanting to become a teacher as your general passion and career path for the future, and based off how often you've posted and contributed your thoughts to Smashboards, I'd say you'd do a wonderful job as a teacher in educating the next generations.

Uhh...i'm not really good at these kinds of things but I guess your good at being the voice of reason in certain situations. From what i've seen, you seem to be very level-headed and have qualities I would say a leader would have. You're also one of the cooler people I know on this site.
