Everybody always uses Voltorb as an example of crappy gen 1 designs. Those people are wrong.

Look at these two.

I do not dislike Voltorb, it is just literally a Pokeball base without the advanced black part and capture button and angry eyes.

idk what everyone else thinks of Golurk, but I honestly really like it. It's basically the Iron Giant, but made of stone or something and has rocket boosters built into it. I actually suggested it for Pokken Tournament during that period when they asked for suggestions via Twitter (along with Gallade) wanting it to be basically Sentinel from MvC

Nintendo, meanwhile, is looking at an increase in Switch console sales in the next year — somewhere in the realm of another 20 million consoles are expected to sell between now and March 31, 2019. The thing is, I don't think an uninspired design is the same as a bad design.

I actually quite like Pokemon like Electrode and Klang. It's obvious that their designs aren't much to see, but I still think they're good.
They're interesting, and enjoyable to look at. And I feel like that's what matters most.

I'm actually planning on buying a PS4 eventually.

I'm gonna need it for Trails of Cold Steel 3/4, Under Night Latest, and some of the Persona 5 spinoffs. As well as some other things I suppose.

I already admit Sony is the market leader, when it comes to home consoles, for now. Regardless, Sony being a market leader doesn't really matter that much in my opinion since it's not really a "news", I don't really care too much how much Sony sells PS4, and yeah having a minor decline isn't that bad but it is something that they should be noticing, not to mention when they have many great games last year. I just don't see why this article heavily focus on praising Sony and just gloss over Nintendo's financial report... when their financial report is just as good as always.

If you really want to defend that article's points, bring up some legit points rather than just calling others a fanboy.

There are two things I like that Gen 5 did, that I wish Gen 6 and 7 had done.

• Adding lots and lots of Pokemon.
• Having a good balance of single and dual types; it was about half and half.

I had Blue Rescue Team as a kid and that was my team as well. Should've probably went with a grass type for better coverage, though, like I did in Explorers of Time (Torchic and Treecko) a few years later. But I don't think type coverage really mattered much anyways.
