To be honest, the sword excuse might have had some weight if they actually stuck with it. I've admittedly mulled over the issue before.

When all three OCs we're aware of use swords, on the other hand, it just comes off as hypocritical. Eight characters and the only sign of a non-sword is the girl OC also using a spear and one of the unrevealed characters having a supplemental ability.

If you want to say you're addressing the sword problem, start by revealing someone that doesn't primarily use a sword.

At least the cast is apparently larger than Hyrule Warriors. If it were restricted to that level we'd really be in sword deep.

You'd have to ask them. Assuming larger than the base roster is probably safer all cynicism considered. Still a roster pretty much dominated by swords, but I'll take what I can get.

. . .in other news, reading FE Warriors rosters with two Tikis hurts me on the inside. If you're going to have a third dragon on your roster, at least make it Bantu. :< Heck, I'll even take Nowi over a second Tiki, even though her dragon's super inferior to Bantu's and she's not plot relevant and people don't like the way she's dressed. Repeats in a game like this would injure me. Don't these games have skin swap options or something anyway?

I do.

I like that Leif actually screws up and gets in over his head in Thacia, needing to be bailed out by someone else. That's pretty refreshing for FE, considering that most FE heroes are pretty much unstoppable and rarely make mistakes.

Oh, and then there's his promotion to Master Knight in Genealogy. That's always cool.

Probably because they'd feel obligated to add Ike and Lyn first, especially since they're literally the most popular characters.

There is a point hidden in there, it's just completely undermined by their decisions with the OCs.

Interesting to see Fire Emblem Warriors news. Some of my thoughts:
-Unsurprised with there being original characters. Shion and Lana have a case of Super Saiyan hair color, and in Shion's case, hair style too. Darios looks cool. Shion and Lana do need some polish though IMO.
-Unsurprised at the focus on Shadow Dragon, Awakening and Fates. At the very least, that means we will likely get some good DLC packs. At the look of "mostly", I guess there is a possibility of either adding the fan favorites at the last minute or there are some characters who are playable, but not involved with the main story, hence the "primarily" bit.
-Nice to see Marth confirmed.
How to wait till E3 to see more news hopefully.

Now, Fire Emblem Heroes. The new banner is out and....... Here's what I got with my 75-77 Orbs.

First Try = Klein and Wrys.
Second Try = Bride Lyn(), than Matthew, than Gwyndolyn than Florina(trying to tell me something game? On how I got Bride Lyn and Florina in the same try?).
Third Try = Azama and Another Bride Lyn().
Fourth Try = Bride Lyn again() as well as another Matthew, Lucius and another Wrys.
Fifth Try = Bride Cordelia() and another Matthew.
Sixth Try = Serra, Virion and another Wrys.

Yes, I actually got 3 Lyns() and a Cordelia. I now know where all my luck with Overwatch went. Now to continue leveling up my Blue characters on the 2nd Kozaki Map. Working on Effie now as I've finished getting Azura, Sharena, Sully, Regular Cordelia, Catria and Female Corrin to Level 40. Such a great map for my characters and I'm going to be really sad when it goes away.

Well, if none of the Greil mercenaries or Dawn Brigade are in FE Warriors, consider me a lot less interested. I might not be too familiar with the series, but I do like some of the characters from those two games. I'm sure a lot of people wanted to see someone like Hector, Lyn or Jaffar ect. ect.

Can't say I'm surprised that they're only representing Shadow Dragon, Awakening and Fates in Warriors. It was already implied in the trailer, so getting confirmation just solidified it for certain. I just hope the roster we do get is still varied and fun to play with just like in HW.
