Those aren't really DCEU films though, so far I haven't seen a DCEU get reception this positive. I mean, it's still early, but even this early the other films you could tell the others were bad.

Tbh, the fact it's still early doesn't mean too much. It's extremely likely to have at least an 80% on RT now.

I guess the summoning of the Summoner character was a success on Anna's/Askr's part. I guess if the "burst out" is also something to go by, it could be referring to the weapon that "bursts out" heroes. Doesn't stop it from being a very weird word to make a name out of.

They're meshing Cyborg in the movie and his CGI looked bad iirc, not to mention we know nothing about Erza Miller's Flash, but the other characters are pre-established. Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman who thinks he's Batman

Don't know if anyone's brought it up yet, but we might of got a tip off that Pokken is coming to Switch.

Earlier today, the Japanese retailer Sinobi listed a new arcade stick for the Nintendo Switch in their listings. In this listing, it mentioned that the stick can be used in fighting games such as Pokkén. They have since removed this note. It's currently unclear whether or not this was a mistake in listing something early or a mistake in the game not existing so it's currently unclear. Do note, this is currently classed as rumour and should not be taken as fact at this time.

If true, they damn well better update it this time.

I get they don't want people figuring out infinites or overly long combos, but 5 hits into a super shouldn't do as little dmg as it does. I swear I labbed out stuff where the super ended up doing only 10 dmg because the combo was too long.

Oh, and remove the field phase, just leave it a 2D fighter.

I always felt Pokken should played like a Tekken lite. When I first heard the name and the fact the Tekken people were working it, I figured it was a no-brainer. Of course, this coming from a guy who does not really enjoy those 3D anime fighters like the Naruto ones. But the pun is literally in the name after all. A better roster would be nice too. There's some great picks like Hawlucha that were passed on, really.

Edit: You mentioned damage stuff Kurri ★ , I'm curious to what exactly were you getting in terms of numbers. The curiosity got to me, so I looked up some articles/vids on SRK and found stuff like these.

I'm sorry, field phase is the most boring part of the game. Maybe that's changed since the meta developed, but it killed me every time duel phase reseted back into field phase. Then it just became a game of tag, only with projectiles.

Honestly, phase shifts are one of the main reasons I've only played Pokken once.

It doesn't make any sense in-game and comes off as an arbitrary gimmick. It also makes the game overly complicated for no reason, forcing me to have to learn two completely different gameplay styles.

And at the end of the day, both phases feel like a nerfed version of another game. Duel phase is nerfed Street Fighter/Tekken, field phase is nerfed Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.

I would much rather they just pick one or the other, it would make the game way more accessible.
