Apparently yes, at least the former two franchises. How about we get a Metroid, Zelda, and DK newcomer.
Is that too much to ask?

Even if K. Rool can't happen, Dixie or Cranky would be just as good.Apparently yes, at least the former two franchises.
The more playability-friendly characters in Metroid and Zelda (outside of the Ridley situation that I am NOT touching in this post) don't show up in a very large proportion of their series' games outside of the characters already in Smash and both DK characters bottom out popularity polls on the current cast, so, uh. . .How about we get a Metroid, Zelda, and DK newcomer.

It could easily be WORSE, but I'd guess they're struggling to get another character for a reason.
Yeah but I never played SotN
For Metroid there's Ridley and Sylux and... that's about it in terms of characters Metroid fans would actually like. And we already know that Ridley needs a more Smash friendly design (as in his proportions don't make him look like a twig when resized). How about we get a Metroid, Zelda, and DK newcomer.
In the FE Cipher card game, there were hentai artists who drew characters. Homare drew Tharja and Kagarou.Apparently a hentai artist drew Subaki, Niles in FEH
This is gonna be good to see the battle damage
Ah crud, I need to stop sharing things I don't fully remember.Source?
Not that I'm doubting you or anything, but I need more proof.
Cant wait to see what Niles looks like oh manIn the FE Cipher card game, there were hentai artists who drew characters. Homare drew Tharja and Kagarou.
The artists for Celica's DLC appearance in Awakening also drew hentai IIRC.In the FE Cipher card game, there were hentai artists who drew characters. Homare drew Tharja and Kagarou.
*triggered*My first hero summoned was *drum roll*..... Nino (3star)!!! whoever that is XD.
Actually, many popular artists once drew hentai, and some still do it as a side job.Apparently a hentai artist drew Subaki, Niles in FEH

That guy's doing Xenoblade 2 iircThe artists for Celica's DLC appearance in Awakening also drew hentai IIRC.
To be fair, I haven't started playing the game until a few days ago.
But is it a hentia artist that draws males?Apparently a hentai artist drew Subaki, Niles in FEH
You're going to make the Nino lovers here triggered dude. Big mistake, almost as bad as @Undyne not knowing who Hector is.Ok, FE Heroes is great!
My first hero summoned was *drum roll*..... Nino (3star)!!! whoever that is XD. followed by : Caeda( 4star) , Jagen (4star) , Subaki (4star) and Sully (3star).
I just hope it doesn't take forever to collect all the characters I want.... or at least get 1 of them lmao.
*still getting used to the fugly name Alfonse*
No matter why the art looks like something out of a generic anime. That guy's doing Xenoblade 2 iirc
Yeah, uh. . .I don't think Xenoblade really needed that, the characters had questionable enough alt clothing at times already, LOL.That guy's doing Xenoblade 2 iirc
Model > Textures > Animations > SFX > Voice > VFX > ParametersCutting clones or making them costumes doesn't solve anything, they take minimal effort to make
If your problem is that series X has too many characters then you need to stop being petty
Only hard core Smash fans would freak out, and they'd still buy the game anyway. The rest of the people don't really care all that much, and there is such a thing as having too much clutter on a roster. In fact, I'd say the majority of people would welcome something fresh over the same old thing for the 5th time now. CoD, NSMB, and other franchises got a lot of flack for that, Smash is NOT immune to this. Even MK has reinvented the wheel a few times. The problem is that nearly all new options for characters are more obscure than nearly all of the old characters. There are exceptions, of course, but far fewer than people seem to think there are.
Then there's the fact that reboot or not, people would FREAK over cuts, and the reaction to Falco snowballing into creating Project M implies even revamps would be a no-go.
And Sakurai said that he thought 20 characters was the ideal character number for Smash. Good luck even getting 35 in a reboot, the end result combined with newcomers would be a massacre so extreme that the backlash could be seen from space.
That said, I do think Sakurai actually isn't coming back, but that actually inclines me to believe that they'll start recycling Smash 4 for the forseeable future instead of rebooting. They almost did it with Melee, I can easily see them doing it now.
Yeah, I think this'll happen too. But that wouldn't be the "next" game, would it?That said, I do think Sakurai actually isn't coming back, but that actually inclines me to believe that they'll start recycling Smash 4 for the forseeable future instead of rebooting
Well Yura, the artist, made a yaoi doujinshi so there is thatBut is it a hentia artist that draws males?![]()
But get this here, everything should be fine as long as they don't shoehorn a Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE character for late promotion.
Because people would still confuse them for more Fire Emblem reps regardless.
And by the way, Mega Man Zero's artist did loli doujins before and after their involvement with Capcom.
I think for now, it would be better to not let people draw parallels to Street Fighter 5.I think a total reboot of the series would be fine if they employ a service model.
I think it'd be way better if the next Smash released with a much smaller initial roster and stage list, and gradually added more over time. Maybe even add more items and such as well.
Well yeah, two more seconds of research shows that the base price of 30 seconds is 4.5 million in 2015, so by now it's risen to 5 million. After 5 seconds of research, I found out the 30 second Switch commercial cost only $5 million dollars.
Only 1/4th of the amiibo stash!
That answers my question then.Well Yura, the artist, made a yaoi doujinshi so there is that
That explain characters like Selvaria and Brunhilde. Still a visually stunning franchise. Also, the artist of Valkyrie Chronicles dome some **** and still does it too.
Ouch, right in the childhood. Who would have known that he has trash taste?
What would a reboot be, though? With the likely scenario for a reboot, a 20 character roster with newcomers, you're going to end up with a veteran selection the size of Smash 64. At that range, it's a lot more than the "characters no one outside of Smash cares about" getting cut, you're going to be bleeding third party characters that sent people that don't even normally care squeeing and large chunks of franchises like Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda. Over a dozen franchises would probably just outright vanish, and a lot of them have characters that are sacred cows to sectors of the fandom that don't normally overlap with the roster people as much. And don't think for a moment that DK and Metroid would actually fare well in this situation either, say goodbye to Diddy and Zero Suit Samus and don't expect anyone else in trade.Model > Textures > Animations > SFX > Voice > VFX > Parameters
There are at least 300 different animations per character, and a 3D model is a fair amount of work on its own.
They take LESS effort than a new character, yes, since you can use an established character.
But basically, Clones is the method all Modders use for original characters. Use an established character, and build off it. It's less work than building one from scratch, but it's still a good 500+ man hours.

I think they'll just release a "Smash 4 Deluxe" a couple years into the Switch's life. Which will buy them a good number of years to give the series a nice break. After which, I imagine it'd be a reboot. Defo not under Sakurai's mantle imo,
Despite all the other games that did the system well?I think for now, it would be better to not let people draw parallels to Street Fighter 5.
Do it look like I care for those with poor tastes? That explain characters like Selvaria and Brunhilde. Still a visually stunning franchise.
And here comes the pissed off lolicons.![]()
They should have just always been alts.I don't want cuts if you're the only rep for that series or you have an original moveset.
Pitto and Lucy needs to either revamp themselves or go back to being Marth and Pit's Alts.
Roy can go or stay for all I care.
only Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon get more than 3 characters.
That's exactly three.-Link
-Zelda
-Ganondorf
Even among them, I'd argue they'd likely keep Ness over Falcon. At least EarthBound gets a big deal made by Nintendo when it gets a rereleased game...Just as another point, I really don't think they'd keep Ness and Captain Falcon if they did the kind of purge a reboot suggests. The number of people who care about them outside the capacity of Smash is fairly small and they're essentially being maintained off of legacy, so it's likely they'd be cut and replaced with Isabelle and the Squid Sisters instead.
You can't really think of a purge from the perspective of a wishlist, you have to think of what they would actually pursue on a business level and sales and currently maintained franchises are important. If they're willing to burn bridges by rebooting then they're going to burn them all.
