I want Alm as a Link semiclone.
-Both are left-handed sword users and use bows
-Replace bombs with Oranges
-Boomerang is replaced with a Illusory Hero
-Final Smash is the sick shield drop
-He just drops the shield, jumps and OHKOs whoever he hits
-11/10 would main
I kind of hope all kinds of magic are at least represented, in the event of a smaller roster and not a larger one.
Robin for Thunder with Thoron, Celica for Fire with Ragnarok, Merric for Wind with Excalibur, Micaiah for Light with Thani, and Tharja for Dark with Nosferatu (because you know she's getting in over Leo if it comes down to it).
I was gonna agree with you but then I saw the choices :^(
Canas is the best Dark Magic user and that's not even a contest
And if anyone is getting in as a Light Magic user, it's Lucius :^)

Specter of Torment is pretty damn good so far, it's like Mega Man in which you can choose which stages to tackle first instead of the world map, the Curios are all pretty neat and the stages are really tough! My only issue is the Horace minigame. You only get gold for it. At least I've got the achievement for bragging rights though it took me an hour and my hANDS ****ING HURT
Music's also great as always!
Already? I only beat it after clearing the game and thanks to the upgraded Chrono Coin Curio
Dynasty Warriors games have run on class-based systems in the past. Fire Emblem normally has one, and licensed Warriors games like to draw from the source material, especially the game licenses since they have game mechanics they can pull from. Hyrule Warriors did this with the exploration elements in the maps and the Zelda-esque boss design that utilised items from Zelda games.
Logically, there is no reason not to expect a larger roster of characters under a class-based system, rather than making every character wholly unique. Especially given the volume of characters each individual Fire Emblem game has, it's one of the main hooks of the games.
I could be wrong and they'll try to make everyone wholly unique but I honestly would rather a class-based system since it's more true to the Fire Emblem games. They could even give characters unique stats. For example, let's say Marth and Chrom fit under some kind of sword wielding warrior class. They have the exact same combos and animations, but Chrom has higher Str, Def, and HP than Marth, but Marth has higher Spd (effects the speed of attack animations and dodge animations, maybe running speed too), Skill, and Crit stats. So characters still have a unique flair despite the class-based system.
I really hope they go for the class thing because that way we get a much bigger roster.
I don't even care if stats are all the same and the only thing that changes is appearence, I'd be fine with it
Just don't put Hector under General of I'm gonna riot
Technically that skips over Scrolls from Fates. Again, so many interesting things held back by just not being plot relevant.
There was also Ice magic in Shadow Dragon, IIRC, so it also skips over that. Ain't no rule that says you can't have Merric juggle multiple spells, though.
Scrolls aren't really that important to warrant being in Warriors, especially without a plot-relevant user. You have Not!Ricken, **** McChick 2.0 and Not!Tharja. And I'm pretty sure the numbef pf
