Nah, the internet has thought of this... Well, ever since the conception of the internet.Guys, I've got a great idea, hear me out on this one.
Sesame Street... BUT RATED R
Ooo.I can change the color of Unit in rhe gane soredfeatherraven you want your unit to have sertain colored hair and clothing?
This is going to be interesting.
But I've got a sexy fish monster to run away from. One who's got an unhealthy obsession with anime. @Dr. Gaster
Wait and see.... depends on what MUGEN's got in store!...This sounds interesting actually.
What's the context behind it?
The original Gaiden doesn't really have much in the way of story, dialogue, or characterisation to go on, even for its main characters, being an NES game, but anyway. They almost get more characterisation in the Awakening DLC than they do in their own games. To all those that have played or were exposed to Gaiden in some way outside of Echoes, what is your opinion of Alm and Celica as characters?
I'm only curious since I just want to know whether or not they are the kind of lords that are really well-written and likable (like Ike or Hector) or *arguably* badly portrayed and thus achieving a vocal hatebase despite doing well in popularity polls (like Chrom or Corrin).
If you need to spoil Gaiden's story just to give answer, I won't mind.
What about my character? What does it look like?I can change the color of Unit in rhe gane soredfeatherraven you want your unit to have sertain colored hair and clothing?
Why after all these years I have almost forgotten all about Prarie Dawn over there in that second pic.Nah, the internet has thought of this... Well, ever since the conception of the internet.
I remember back in the early days of youtube I'd see recommendations with these thumbnails.

I don't think the world is ready to see that horror yet.R-rated Thomas & Friends set in World War II anyone? No?![]()
Im so hyped to see the debuting ****Man in action. This guy is also producing the Netflix Castlevania series.Dredd Producer Wants to Make R-Rated Mega Man Movie - https://t.co/kdD5tHL47d pic.twitter.com/s68b1ixYMC

I can't see Capcom agreeing to this, considering a new kids cartoon is coming soon for the series.
Still, he probably understands how unlikely this world be.
You wanted magic right? Im working to unlock a sage for you but it requires another class to be rank 4 so it might take a whileWhat about my character? What does it look like?
You mean Kirby, right?I do have to say though there is a certain Nintendo franchise that could do well being Rated R on the big screen...
Well good luck I guess. lolYou wanted magic right? Im working to unlock a sage for you but it requires another class to be rank 4 so it might take a while
The only problem with that is that people are tired of alien-like movies. Especially from the reviews I've read of Life.I do have to say though there is a certain Nintendo franchise that could do well being Rated R on the big screen...
Brain Age right?I do have to say though there is a certain Nintendo franchise that could do well being Rated R on the big screen...
Nah. Life was crap. The ending took it from forgettable to awful. Felt like an edgy teen came with that endingThe only problem with that is that people are tired of alien-like movies. Especially from the reviews I've read of Life.
To be fair though, though they could easily avoid this given that they use the variety of terrain and settings in the metroid franchise and not have the movie just be in a ship or a gloomy planet only filled with rocks and caves.

This talk of a Rated R Sesame Street reminds me of a project this artist, Dan Luvisi, has been working on called 'Popped Culture'
All I have to say is if you want to have a look at some of the artwork, prepare to say goodbye to your childhood....some of the artwork he's made is the stuff of nightmares...
But there's also stuff that has muppets and disney characters in more serious situations...and by serious I mean like murdering each other serious...
Because rated R is so hips and sexy~!There's never been an M rated Metroid so why have an R rated Metroid movie?
This is the kind of character develooment more shows need
You said people are tired of them. I disagree. We do have Alien Covenant coming later this which will do well. Unless its complete trash.????
I didn't say anything about Life being good. I said that people are getting tired of movies like it.
Because Metroid takes heavy inspiration from a hard R movie seriesThere's never been an M rated Metroid so why have an R rated Metroid movie?
Nah, space horror has been overdone for awhile now. I mean, of course they don't pop up nearly as often as a genre such a superhero movies, but the difference is that there's rarely a good isolated space movie. You said people are tired of them. Yeah...Dan loves his cats...View attachment 127815
D'aww.
Note to self - if I ever do anything on Kickstarter, first adopt two cats for planned Cat Food tier.
The reason I say this is because Metroid thrives off of a more mature setting....at times it is borderline a survival horror and given what some of the antagonizing alien creatures (Space Pirates, Metroids, Ridley, etc) are capable of you easily can imagine some more graphic scenes happening in a movie...There's never been an M rated Metroid so why have an R rated Metroid movie?
As much as it takes it's influence from Alien, Metroid isn't just some random sci0fi horror...there's a lot that goes into Metroid that makes it stand out such as the environments as you mentioned....The only problem with that is that people are tired of alien-like movies. Especially from the reviews I've read of Life.

After Prometheus I wouldn't be surprised if it got mixed reviews. Also, weird fact about Life: the reason why the movie exists is because it's technically based off a book called Gravity. Yep, which the movie Gravity seems to take from, except it excluded the alien lifeform. The lawsuits are basically what spawned this movie.

And my bets are that Alien Covenant is going to be mixed at best like Life is right now, there hasn't been all that much from the trailers to make me think otherwise.
I know that, if they actually use stuff from the games it wouldn't be hard to make AT LEAST an entertaining movie. As much as it takes it's influence from Alien, Metroid isn't just some random sci0fi horror...there's a lot that goes into Metroid that makes it stand out such as the environments as you mentioned....
I can imagine a Metroid movie sort of being a cross between Alien and Avatar in a way...perhaps with a sprinkle of Star Wars...
I still don't even know how people came to that conclusion, the creature was NOTHING like a symbiote. After Prometheus I wouldn't be surprised if it got mixed reviews.
And I bet Sony wishes Life really was a Venom prequel
That would have been too smart and ingenious for them. And I bet Sony wishes Life really was a Venom prequel
That's why you get someone to make the movie that actually knows a thing or two about the games...I know that, if they actually use stuff from the games it wouldn't be hard to make AT LEAST an entertaining movie.
The thing is though, knowing hollywood, it'd likely be a bland alien knock off where Samus is in her Zero Suit for most of the movie trying to survive in a space ship, and then in the last 30-10 minutes she gets her suit...

Executives never really have that idea when it comes to video games though, for whatever reason. That's why you get someone to make the movie that actually knows a thing or two about the games...
I don't either, but I think it was because the Venom movie was announced a few days before it came outI know that, if they actually use stuff from the games it wouldn't be hard to make AT LEAST an entertaining movie.

Assassin's Creed was pretty faithful to the games. Still sucked thoughExecutives never really have that idea when it comes to video games though, for whatever reason.
As was Ratchet and Clank, and that also sucked.Assassin's Creed was pretty faithful to the games. Still sucked though
Also pretty bad movies.I think the fact that Resident Evil made major bucks as a film franchise but had like only 20 percent in common with it's game franchise doesn't deter Hollywod execs from just going ''Well, can we just do this but still slap the recognizable name on it?"
