Just found a hilarious picture featuring Hau and his Malasada obsession!

And this Hau picture has given me a new discussion topic:

What is your opinion of Hau? Do you love/like/dislike/hate him? Where does he stand in your personal Pokemon rival ranking list?

I think's it's worth talking about since Hau fits the bill of the friendly rival, and friendly rivals are usually a divisive deal amongst Pokemon fans: people either love them or hate them.

Personally, I like Hau. I'm one of those people that generally likes the friendly rival archetype (minus the XY Rival trio because they were really forgettable for the most part). He felt like a kid who wanted to become your friend from the get-go, and while he may be too happy at times, he does know when to leave some memorable burning comments (such as to Lillie during the first island travel cutscene, to Gladion at Royal Avenue, and to Faba during the Aether Raid arc). I thought his love for Malasadas was sweet considering it shows much of a sweet tooth he has.

If I had to rank Hau, I'd put him more around the high-middle at the moment. Not as memorable as Wally, N, Hugh, Cheren, and Gladion, but just as enjoyable as Barry for me.

Pokemon Sun and Kirby: Planet Robobot for me.

The Pokemon Sun trainer could potentially fare up against all those Haltmann robots depending on the Pokemon at his/ner disposal.

Meanwhile, Kirby would probably stand up to any Pokemon in his way. Just inhale the nearest Pokemon, copy its ability, and he's set.

I like Hau - he's probably one of the nicest 'rival' characters in these series, but he certainly comes off on the easy side when you battle against him because he has the Starter Pokémon you're strong against. Either way, Hau's a really likeable character and has plenty of great moments through out the adventure, so I'd put him close to a favourite 'rival' for me.

Are you talking about Conquest's Chapter 27 to FE7's Endgame 1/2? I guess it can lokk that way though both have very different way to approaching it.

-Abortion should be legal, correct, but it should NOT be government funded. I fail to see why it should be. People have a right to an abortion, and the government should keep out of it 100%. That INCLUDES funding.

-Did you NOT see the meltdown from the left? The Young Turks? They were literally turning on white women calling them "****ing stupid" for voting for Trump.

-Yes, they are lunatics, I fail to see any examples of racism from the Trump Administration. All I see is conjecture from the media freaking out and misconstruing everything he says and does.

-They shut down and censor anyone who disagrees with that. That actually IS fascism, despite how much they call others fascist. Hell, disagree with an SJW and they'll go on tirade throwing all sorts of insults and labels at you, and if that doesn't work, you'll get physically assaulted, because there's no more room for reason and discourse when it comes to these issues.

-He's done more in 1 week than any other president in modern times. And he's sticking to ALL his campaign promises thus far, and very effectively and quickly. People voted him in for this stuff, how is that NOT effective?

Criticize Trump for being a fool for disbelieving in Climate Change, or disagree with his policies, but calling him a racist, a nazi, or "not my president" is taking it too far, and makes your entire argument totally absurd, and turning on people because you disagree with them politically is just about the most petty thing you can do. People should open their ears, and listen to the opposite side.

Debate and discourse exist for a reason, to assume that you've got the answer to everything is the most immature thing anyone could possibly do. The reason the left is losing this battle, is because they've done nothing but throw a tantrum after losing the fight, and are further empowering the Alt-Right by refusing to learn their lesson and pucker up. Which itself is very dangerous too. Extremes are never a good thing, and politics right now are too polarized. Left should realize by now that people are sick and tired of the PC narrative. That's why Trump won. And continuing to force that idea onto people will only further validate Trump and the neoCons.

I actually like chicken on pizza. Something I have is chicken as a topping, but instead of the normal sauce, it's ranch dressing. It's actually pretty good.

Visa approval is merely suspended from a select group of nations which are deemed as "security risks." It should be noted that this is something Barack Obama also did in 2013 with refugees from Iraq for the same exact reason.

3. The executive order in no way says that "Muslim nations are not allowed visa approval," in fact, there are plenty of Muslim nations which are allowed entry into the US, the exact list of countries deemed as a "security risk" is as follows: Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Egypt, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. Trump and his cabinet did not pick this list, the countries in this list were selected as a "security risk" by President Barack Obama and Congress in 2015 due to "potential to terrorist infiltration."

I hope that this information re-frames current events for you. It's very easy to make a simplified and generalized statement like "Muslim Ban" to make something pretty sensible seem as evil or malicious or racist. It's also easy to forget that all of this is pretty much following through with what Obama did.

I advice people start reading the sources themselves (ahem-the executive order itself), and do some research, rather than taking what the media (aka propaganda machine) spits out at you. Food for thought.

Sure, go ahead and blame Trump for following through and what Obama had started. Where were all the protests when Obama did the same thing? For the record, I agree with both of their decisions, it's absurd to allow visas from countries which pose a security risk.
