Alright this is 100% not the kind of site to be discussing this kind of ****

And this is certainly not the thread for it goddamn

Anyway, for the people with a switch and playing the testfire, I am very jealous of you.

BUT how is it? Having fun? As good as 1? Better? Worse?

Let me live vicariously through you.
It's as fun as the original, I'd say. Lot's of little polish things that'll probably make a big difference at higher experience levels, but as an unskilled player on it for an hour having only tried the Duallies so far I haven't really tried a lot of them out yet. What little dodging I reminded myself to try with the Duallies was pretty fun, though! There's definitely a joy to jumping out of the way of an attack, can't wait to see what other new weapon classes they're researching.

The stage aesthetics though. NAILED. IT.

I feel like it's a world that's fresh and crisp yet actually lived in from the two stages in rotation. Can't quite put my finger on it, I think they might have picked out some better textures than the original but there's a certain pop to it that might be an extremely subtle artstyle shift as well.

Not related to Splatoon in particular, but while playing the testfire I noticed that holding the Joycons separate was actually more comfortable for me than snapping them into the little connector thing that comes with the system.

Hadn't really tried either configuration much before since I've just been playing Zelda with a pro controller or in portable mode.

On Splatoon 1, I turned off the motion controls.

But when I played Splatoon 2 Testfire (which couldn't be turned off) I actually liked that and might keep it on the full game.

Though I didn't like that I couldn't move the camera up/down with the right stick.

Next CoD is apparently simply going to be called CoD: WWII
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1355233

Same source as the ones that leaked Infinite Warfare.

I might actually like a CoD game for the first time since Black Ops.

I miss WW2 so much. I loved MW and all but I fave missed this so much. World at War, Big Red One, and CoD3 were some of my favorites and I would looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove to go back to M1s, thompsons and Kar 98s

But you could, and I did, and it does, when you do.

It would have really sucked if I was stuck with motion controls, I can't stand motion aiming.

I miss WW2 so much.
I love out of context quotes.

How's the controls for Splatoon 2?
The only problems with the controls I've been having isn't the games fault. It's more the fact that because they switched the Jump button to B that I've been having muscle memory problems. Everytime I go to Jump with the X button, the Map comes up and I'm like, "Ack! Not that one! B button! B Button!"

I have a game for the lelz; guess the exact duration of Goldberg vs Lesnar at WM33.

I say 7:24, with Brock blading, a long pause with either Lesnar or Goldberg lying on the ring for a while selling a hit; allowing the latter to pick some air.
And sweat, lots of sweat after the first minute.

Wow.

Either this is really unprofessional and ridiculous gloating over their decision to remove JonTron, that honestly really turns me off buying the game (not removing JonTron itself, but this kind of attitude).

Or their PR guy is incredibly out of touch.

I'll say 5:32

I think they want Brock to look super strong so that Roman look strong when he inevitably goes over and make the story that Survivor Series was a fluke

I don't think so, it sounds like it's just intended to be a common enemy in the game rather than a unique character (then again he could have still had a voice).

But the specific wording and timing of the post is just not gonna help them in anyway, especially after all of the stuff they pulled already.

Seeing as the conversation has already moved on, I will make this brief....

Please try and refrain from conversations that are sexual in nature. Pedophilia is not a topic that should be discussed in length on a forum with minors. Thank you.

I only played a match of testfire with the duelies, which are pretty awesome. Aiming to play the full hour for tonight's testfire.

From those 8 minutes of testfire, I just have two complaints:
1) X is now the map button, instead of the jump button like the first game. Perhaps they did it because of the right stick position, but its going to take some time to get used to.
2)The tutorial ends.

Seriously, anyone remember the first game's testfire, where as long as you stayed in the tutorial (and didn't clear it) you could mess around in it offline? This time it forces you into a match, so I guess that's no longer possible.
http://srpgstudio.com/

It's all in Japanese, but they're apparently "considering" releasing an English version. I've played around with it a bit myself, it's a pretty decent tool, and easy to work with (if you can get past the language barrier), but it's more in the style of older FE games than newer ones. And, like others have mentioned, if you don't balance it properly, you're going to end up with some pretty daft situations.
Worth noting that was done by Shouzou Kaga, the father of FE himself. So its basically is Fire Emblem maker, but unofficially, so Yooka-Laylee/Bloodstained style. As such I call it Fiaa Emburem Maker :troll:

He's just gonna talk about Brock Lesnar the whole time.
MY CLIENT BROUGH LESNARR CAN SUPLEX THIS CAR.

Jokes aside, it would be nice to add Brock to the mix

Driver Kevin Harvick (#4 Ford Fusion) is associated with Lesnar anyway, as both are sponsored by Jimmy John's
It would made fans and sponsors happy.

Considering a former writer admitted that building Lesnar as an OP beast was only to make THE BIG DOG look strong after defeating him in a future match, that's very possible.

That moment when the book store sells The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts for $10 cheaper than EB Games across the hallway in the local mall...

Will definitely be keeping myself occupied with that for a while...metroid art & artifacts when?

Got a pre-order in on the FE Echoes Limited Edition, at last.

I hope money is good around that time.

Seems like it will be a long while before I play BotW at this rate.

It's really great when you're in the middle of playing kirby and your analog stick breaks, forcing you to use the gamecube d-pad.

Great.

I regret not using the Wolf Link amiibo sooner...it's really fun running around with your own wolf companion...it's also cool that you can feed him to restore his health...he's also quite useful for finding stuff and hunting but at this point I'm not exactly in need of supplies but it's still cool to know...

He's got no chills though, he attacks EVERYTHING!!!

But alas, RIP Wolf Link for the day, killed by a Lynel...I told him to stay before I went to fight it but then he warped right next to me just as I initiated the battle...so there wasn't much I could do at that point....

after the battle I discovered something else kinda neat, if you're on horseback and have a spear equipped Link twirls it over his head when you hold Y...I haven't done a whole lot of combat on horseback so I only just noticed it now but I thought it was pretty cool...

It's mildly disappointing seeing people not understand that the point behind the Testfire is partially to force the servers under as much pressure as possible so they can figure out if and what they need to fix by the time the game comes out.

Of course, I have horrid internet and didn't have a problem with it during my first batch at all, so I didn't even have to suffer through what a lot of people apparently did, LOL. But still, this is to an extent Nintendo looking for data on their servers to fix anything wrong before they start charging for them, be it the online service or the cost of a first party multiplayer game. Can't expect everything to go right when they haven't even tried it on a large scale yet!

Being a Splatoon 2 demo at the same time is a great marketing tactic for the game, a great way to get the userbase to cooperate, AND a great treat for the players all at once. I can see them doing another one if the Switch userbase multiplies before Splatoon 2 releases to test under stronger tension, but I don't see that as a guaranteed thing.

*begins playing*

On a different note, I think this game might be faster paced than the original.

. . .Oh my GOSH I love the textures in this game.

.. .Oh, and HD Rumble is in, it's just really unobtrusive I.E. no feeling the tank filling up. You can feel some actions lightly, but being next to a teammate using a super is when the HD starts getting really noticeable. You can feel the air coming out of a Stingray or the ink gushing from a jetpack to hold it aloft, or the brief thrust of someone firing a batch of missiles. It's funky in a good way. The general Splatoon 2 rumble also has a more. . . .bubbly? feel than Zelda's vanilla rumble BZZZZZ. The game's so pretty and hectic you don't even notice the rumble unless you focus on it, though, I completely missed it the first hour because the game is so fun LOL.

*EDIT* You can feel it splash when you use a jumping attack with the roller.

Can safely confirm, that I love Breath of the Sexy Link as a game so far. Sure the breakable weapons are annoying, but the exploration and beautiful visuals makes up for it. And yes, I am doing a naked run for the game right now (no clothes, just going commando like a pro).

And am I the only one confused that Moblins look like giant anorexic tapirs this time?
