So....for Breath of the Wild....

Did anyone else ever witness a Moblin picking up a Bokoblin and throwing it at you? It's funny how I'm probably around 50-75 hours into the game.....and yet this is the first time I ever ever witnessed a Moblin do this.

It's mildly disappointing seeing people not understand that the point behind the Testfire is partially to force the servers under as much pressure as possible so they can figure out if and what they need to fix by the time the game comes out.

Of course, I have horrid internet and didn't have a problem with it during my first batch at all, so I didn't even have to suffer through what a lot of people apparently did, LOL. But still, this is to an extent Nintendo looking for data on their servers to fix anything wrong before they start charging for them, be it the online service or the cost of a first party multiplayer game. Can't expect everything to go right when they haven't even tried it on a large scale yet!

Being a Splatoon 2 demo at the same time is a great marketing tactic for the game, a great way to get the userbase to cooperate, AND a great treat for the players all at once. I can see them doing another one if the Switch userbase multiplies before Splatoon 2 releases to test under stronger tension, but I don't see that as a guaranteed thing.

On a different note, I think this game might be faster paced than the original.

. . .Oh my GOSH I love the textures in this game.

.. .Oh, and HD Rumble is in, it's just really unobtrusive I.E. no feeling the tank filling up. You can feel some actions lightly, but being next to a teammate using a super is when the HD starts getting really noticeable. You can feel the air coming out of a Stingray or the ink gushing from a jetpack to hold it aloft, or the brief thrust of someone firing a batch of missiles. It's funky in a good way. The general Splatoon 2 rumble also has a more. . . .bubbly? feel than Zelda's vanilla rumble BZZZZZ. The game's so pretty and hectic you don't even notice the rumble unless you focus on it, though, I completely missed it the first hour because the game is so fun LOL.

*EDIT* You can feel it splash when you use a jumping attack with the roller.

Can safely confirm, that I love Breath of the Sexy Link as a game so far. Sure the breakable weapons are annoying, but the exploration and beautiful visuals makes up for it. And yes, I am doing a naked run for the game right now (no clothes, just going commando like a pro).

And am I the only one confused that Moblins look like giant anorexic tapirs this time?

your actually gonna find the naked run pretty hard to do in some places where you need cold/heat/flame resistant clothing. I droped that idea after I got one shotted because I had no defence

There was a big deal a while back about Apollo 13, the line in the movie was supposed to be "Houston, we have a problem"

But it was actually "Houston, we've had a problem"

...But, what the scene right now. It says "Houston, we have a problem" again. Yet, it was a major focus of the Mandela effect a short time ago.

Am I the only one who finds this somewhat disturbing?

I mean, children won't find this appealing, squid kids are literally kids. And that's the boy Squid on top of that. I also don't quite see the humor in that either. There's only one group of people who I can see this sorta thing appealing to, and that's the same crowd drawing all the Squid kid porn, of which I'm certain Nintendo is well aware of. I mean, why have this outside of pandering to that crowd?

Am I alone in this sentiment? Or am I making mountains out of molehills.

And I'm sure some of you will find this ironic considering I was against the censorship of XCX and Fatal Frame, but in those games, you had girls with adult bodies being sexualized. These are literal (well virtual) kids... implied to be around 10, that's a different story, and lines are certainly being crossed here. Even if legal in Jaan, why pander to that crowd at all?

Diamonds aren't rare. The price is HIGHLY inflated. There are MASSIVE amount of diamonds

The problem was the working class wasn't buying diamonds in any significant quantity, so the diamond cartel paid the media vast amounts of money to tell the working class that diamonds are the only proper way to do engagement rings. Creating the phrase "Diamonds are Forever"

and over time it was just absorbed into society as a fact.

I read up a bit. The truth seems... mixed.

Diamonds being quite common and the existence of a diamond cartel (The De Beers Company) are indeed true. De Beers used to have a monopoly on diamond production which let them control prices at will and they created artificial shortages to inflate the price.

But it's also true that gemstone quality diamonds are rare. Only 20% of the diamonds excavated can be made into gemstones. The structure of a diamond doesn't lend itself well to growth, so diamond prices increase exponentially with size, until metals like gold and metal.

But I'll agree that they aren't worth the price.

I had mine in the Joy-Con grip as well.

It's just softer than Rumble usually is, I didn't even notice it my first hour playing because the game holds your attention way more than the rumble does.

If you actively pay attention to it the HD Rumble is there, though.

It was ****ing amazing. I'm also on the Tokunation forums which talk about KR, Sentai, PR and more, and almost everyone hated the movie prerelease. Everyone on that forum said that they're surprised how good it was and while the suits only appear in the final act, they feel earned

I think this is perhaps something to keep us all grounded. Not really as reassurance so much as. . .perspective.

Not so long ago we had a world that was willing to rip itself apart on a global scale. Multiple times. We had people that did things even many of the most callous people would be horrified and disgusted by.

I mean the world's a disappointment, always has been and probably isn't changing anytime soon. But I feel like people have the idea that we live in the worst time in the history of mankind when we. . .don't.

But then, I try to ignore politics because I'm not equipped to have an opinion and getting one requires slogging through a mess of horseshoe theory proving ragemongers hurling random things off the ground at each other. We had a situation where people on both sides of the fence said the end of the world would happen if they lost and threatened to move out of a country if they didn't get the results they wanted. Society seems to feed off of fear more than anything and if it drives itself into the ground then it will be as much because society refused to stop being cowards as anything else.

The only DCEU movie that reviewed better than Power Rangers is man of steel but the audience score for PR was higher lel
