Captain Syrup won. Not that I expected the likes of Rudy or Shake King to put up a fight, but it's clear she's the biggest Wario Land character that isn't Wario.

Now is the first WarioWare poll, featuring the four most wanted characters. Ashley, Jimmy T, Mona, and 9-Volt are your choices. Even though they it's obvious who's taking this.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Now I want to play Smooth Moves again. Lol

Ugh. . .actually, how do I even find these other shrines? Anyone have any suggestions? I have 3 missions I can work on in my shrine quest log, but I don't even know where to begin combing the map for the other 19.

*EDIT* Wait, no, 18. Soft locked a spot and drove myself mad for over an hour beforehand not knowing what was wrong and put it off. Well, there's another one, then.

Trust me; I'm having a hard time avoiding spoilers myself until I can access the Switch. Let me just say that its not particularly fun and I'm hoping that I'll be able to get my hands on a Switch soon. Alternatively, if I am that desperate, I could aim for the Wii U version of Zelda. However, this is only meant to be a last resort...

I normally don't subscribe to people, but JonTron is gonna need it.

Don't let people get you down.

I can imagine that you, as an artist, had to deal with trash like that
I don't consider myself good enough of an artist to do commissions yet, but I can imagine that it would suck if tons of people wanted me to work for free.

A small thing I discovered when looking at the new Project Sonic 2017 concept art. The Death Egg Robots still have the smiles of the original, even with a different face.

That's actually kind of creepy.

The Labrynths are free spirit orbs.

They should have made the walls of the mazes out of the same substance that is in the trials

Holy ****ing ****
I just saw some chick rant about how artists don't have the right to be credited if their fanart was used and how people who want to be credited for their work are the scum of the earth
****ing wow, they also shouldn't be allowed to ask money for commissions, because "If they're good artists, they'll get the attention themselves"
But...

But commissions are attention.

What?

So while I haven't seen all of the armors of BotW yet, is it illegal to say that I want them all as Alt costumes for Smash, another crossover game, etc? Seriously, all the ones I have so far look so nice and good. Even the Barbarian-styled armor looks great on him.

That being said, the dye system can use some work with some of them. For some like the Sheikah armor, the Zora armor and the Gerudo armor, the parts that get dyed are great. I also appreciate how some dyes change some parts to a more fitting color for the dye you selected, like the Zora armor parts that can't be dyed are mostly brown, but some dyes change them to either silver or a brighter color that works well with the new dye.
For others like the Soldier armor and Goron armor, they could've had some better choices for what was dyed. I'm mixed with the Rito armor though. Some colors work good, others not so much. The places that are dyed do work, but I wish there was a bit more to it.

MGS: The Twin Snakes Repainted was pretty hilarious at points. I watched it last January, but the videos got set to private for some reason.

Urbosa is the Gerudo champion, right?
Yep, she's the Gerudo champion.

My first impression on the Kalos anime was that Serena was really annoying.

Now that I'm watching through it, I see that she's okay. But Bonnie is about 1000× more annoying than I thought Serena was.
Bonnie gets a lot a better in XY&Z once she befriends one of the Zygarde Cores.

Don't know if you've reached that point in the anime, but if you haven't, just wanted to throw it out there.

If you were a pokemon, thats the only way I see it happening and even then it would be pretty weird to see.

Yeah, there is a dye place in Hateno Village. You basically give 20 Rupees and the required materials to dye your armor(5 for all your armor). And there are up to 15 colors you can choose, including Blue, Light Blue, Navy Blue, Red, Crimson, Pink, Light Brown, Yellow, White and yes, Purple and Black. The others I can't remember at the moment, but as far as I'm aware, the main popular ones are available to choose.
But as I said, you do need materials in order to dye. There are some simple ones like Blue Chu Chu Jelly is used for Light Blue, but for some like Navy Blue, so far I've only found 1 material that work(although granted, the material for Navy Blue is rather easy to find). And to dye all your armor, you need 5 separate materials altogether. So for Navy Blue, you would need 5 of that one material to dye all your armor.

It's not that great. You can't choose which parts to dye and if you dye one piece, depending on the piece, it will practically envelope the whole piece while leaving whatever parts of the piece that can't be dyed the same color as it was before dying the piece. Only in some exceptions(like I said, some of the metal parts on the Zora armor or the Cloth Fabric on the Rito armor) do they change color and you can't choose the color. Like if you chose a red color for the Rito armor, the Cloth piece will become blue by default.
Like I said, some armors aren't that great with the dye and look very basic, but there are armors that work very well with it, like the Sheikah armor. So I doubt you'll get your wish of a Goth Link.

In other news, Breath of the Wild is totally the spiritual successor of Shadow of the Colossus. The battle I was in was totally reminiscent of Phalanx the 13th Colossus. There was a good reason why I said the closest Sony game to a Legend of Zelda-like game was Shadow of the Colossus.

Bit off-topic (though I don't think there's really a set topic in this thread right now), but does anyone know how All-Star scores are calculated? Wondering why a character I rarely use is my ultimate high score.

Well don't do anything unhealthy. Get some food in you even if it doesnt taste great. Much better than feeling bad.

Unrelated, did those random amiibo CSPIAs (or whatever the acronym might be) ever get figured out?
I feel like I should know whether or not there are soft confirmed smash amiibo running around or whether they just the Zelda amiibo or something.

I'm practically ready at any moment to go after any of the beasts. I'm just doing more exploring and quests before doing them.

Forgot to mention this yesterday, but I cleared Van Rudania last night.

Unlike Van Ruta, you don't directly battle with Van Rudania. Rather, you have to climb Death Mountain and clear all the sentries it summons along the way. Getting caught by one sentry will cause Van Rudania to rain Magma Rocks on you. You will also have Yunobo, the descendant of Goron Champion Daruk and the Goron boss's assistant, accompany you, and he will use Daruk's protection when you fire him from a cannon into the Divine Beast. You attack the Divine Beast three times.

For one of those "have a side character accompany you" missions in a video game, I think the Van Rudania was handled pretty well. It's pretty easy to control where you want Yunobo to go since he follow, and you can use a whistle to completely freeze him. This makes it useful when you need to climb cliffs to push down metal cubes in order to destroy the sentries.

The dungeon was nifty. This time, you rotate the entire beast 90 degrees as the "map manipulation" for this one.

Fireblight Ganon was a fun boss, though I found him to be much easier than Waterblight Ganon. Let me tell you: ice weapons are your best friend in this battle. Ice Arrows do a very good job keeping him in check from a distance, and I even had the Great Frostblade to do some serious damage for the melee combat. In the second phase, he starts to summoning massive fireballs that are formed from large fiery vortexes, and you need to throw a bond as it prepares the attack so that you can knock it into the ground. I missed the first time, but I was lucky enough to run away before the fire ball would hit me. I got the bomb on the second time he used the attack, and I remember quickly finishing him from there.

Once Van Rudania was reclaimed and Daruk's spirit was freed, I loved the cutscene that followed. Once the Divine Beast aimed at Hyrule Castle, Daruk wonders if the Gorons have been doing well since the Great Calamity. He then sees Yunobo below, who is awestruck. Daruk gives a salut out of satisfaction, and Yunobo joyously waves his hand at Daruk as he repeats "yeah" out of joy. I smiled watching that. You really feel happy for Yunobo in this scene because he saw his ancestor (or really, his ancestor's ghost). No wonder he's happy to see him!

I also completed three shrines yesterday: one of which was that one shrine on the way to Mount Lanaryu, the other two are the "modest" and "major" tests of strength. Yeah, I actually went for that one shrine in the area around Mount Lanaryu despite not having cold resistant pants yet. I managed to avoid losing too many hearts by eating apples every time one heart was depleted. I eventually found the shrine when I figured out the puzzle.

As for the other two shrines where you fight those Guardian Scouts, let me tell you: Ice Arrows are your best friend. Seriously, they both did some serious damage. Also helps that a Guardian Axe and a Great Flameblade during both battles. With the "major" test of strength, I started to use Ancient Arrows once its health was very low and it began spamming those laser beams. It took two Ancient Arrows to finish it.

I also got the Master Sword and did the Korok trials today. I'll talk about both later.

Actually, I should probably ask something since I've been gone over a week and I'm curious. How far are all of you into BotW?

The first three seasons of SpongeBob is one of my favorite cartoons of all-time. Hearing this is absolutely saddening. I'm hoping everything will turn out alright.

Well, may as well get around to buying the rest of the armor sets.

Is that a. . .

That's a. . .

. . .well THAT's not what it looked like in the lighting of the shop. I'll take it, though, that just makes it even better.

All main bosses (aside from final) down and over 100 shrines done (most left are in the Gerudo Desert and Highlands plus the odd one elsewhere I think).
Full 30 hearts plus three Stamina upgrades.
All memories (ergo Master Sword acquired) and towers done.
Not sure on Koroks. Maybe around 90 at most. Not too bothered with them really.
All Great Fairies activated.
House completed. Tarrey Town done.
Not fussed with the compendium.

Sounds like you're about where I am, a little more shrine, a little less Korok, a couple heart containers where I went for a full second stamina wheel early (although with my fewer shrines I'm still a couple upgrades behind in that regard). I'm mostly doing compendium once in a while when I remember so I can use it to restock on items. It's great for hunting, and hunting is great for cash.

I have one tower left to do, but I'm scrunching my face at all the electric enemies. Im sure I'll go back for it eventually. Other than that. . .pretty close to where I am.

There's been a level 10 yellow gym in my area for almost a year, and some people finally defeated it and put there pokemon in it.

I decided to put my Espeon in it, and it's 3 points from being the most powerful pokemon in it

No matter how many times people complain about durability, I will once again reiterate that weapons are so easy to get that durability means nothing. Heck, you can actually go back to the Test of Strength Trials and re-fight the Guardians fought in them and get their weapons from them again. And it's so easy to beat them(with a little extra help from Stasis+) and the weapons they give are far more better than most weapons and are great against outside Guardians.
2 of the easy to find Major Tests of Strength both give a Guardian Sword++(40Atk) and an Ancient Battleaxe++(60Atk), with one also giving a Guardian Shield++(42Def) and the other also giving a Guardian Spear++(20Atk). Seriously, getting good weapons are not an issue.
