Yeah, I just read that. I embarrass myself once again. :p The wiki article confused me, I read it as the other way around.

In that case it's bizarre that I prefer the PSX voice considering that voice actors' only other credited work is Chris Redfield in RE1 of all things.
Well Alucard's voice actor was the announcer for Tekken 3. That's pretty cool.

We already have a Smash Switch forum now?

Here we go again, hopefully we learn from the past, though that's probably a fool's hope.

He's also the announcer for Tekken 2(uncredited) and narrated story segments in Tekken 5 and Dark Resurrection.

Edit: And Tag Tournament.

Here's a question.

Would you say Forest Gump uses language, syntax and the like to use stereotypes to convey what sort of character Forest is?

Forest is portrayed as noble and kind, but I feel the use of his southern drawl and his slower than usual and simple speaking style play off of stereotypes so they can confirm/play with the audience's expectations.

My teacher disagrees but never gave a reason why.

I just woke up from a couple hour nap and I had the same dream I had repeated before. Just with different details.

I spent the dream getting ready for an airplane ride and I rush to get everything I need done but when it's time to get on I wake up right as I get there.

The dream is like building up but never delivering

Edit: But I keep getting distracted by more and more stuff is the point of the dream

Yes, definitely. Basically the original book, who's author grew up in Alabama, is meant to reflect the average southerner(Or even average American, really.) in the 60s/70s. Though due keep in mind that the book is different than the movie.

So yes, he's suppose to play off stereotypes. I've heard some people claim that the character has autism, but the character wasn't created with that in mind, most people weren't even aware of what autism was both when the book was written and when the movie was made.

Edit: I love how at one point I can be talking about ships, but then I can be talking about the subtext of Forrest Gump. :p

As exciting as that is for me (speculative discussions tends to be one of my favourite past times), that seems way too early.

I'd rather speculate about Mario Odysses for now.

Nope, sorry, that was deconfirmed by my aunt's nephew's step-dad's brother that Ridley will be included instead.

We will all be touched by his bigness.

LOL

I was looking up pictures of C3PO because one thing in the Mandela Effect is C3PO having 1 silver leg people don't remember.

I don't think that's too farfetch'd that people don't remember it because in a lot of media other than the movies he usually was made with 2 gold legs. And if you saw the original before it was made HD it's not like you can tell. I honestly don't remember C3PO having a silver leg as prominent as it is. Although I do remember seeing him with one in return of the Jedi and thinking it had something to do with him being broken to pieces in Empire Strikes back. But no, it's all 3 movies

Huh....Isn't that a little too soon?
Don't get me wrong, if we are going to get more character. I am on the Hype Train, but maybe we should wait more reliable information before starting the Space Jam.

Got any games where you think the soundtrack is underrated? The game itself doesn't have to be, but I suppose that would help.

Hmm... Well, it that's actually a hard question, most games that I play have at least moderately popular soundtracks.

However, there's one game that I play that has a pretty obscure soundtrack. It's some kind of musical german mecha anime game. Here's a cutscene from it.

OMG I fell too down deep again.

This conspiracy theorist is talking about how Islam was created by the Roman Catholics for some kind of purpose

What isn't a conspiracy theory

Edit: Their proof seems to be the prominence of "Mary" in the Koran, which apparently it's unusual for a woman to have such prominence in the Koran. Also the fact they refer to Mary as a virgin when that's apparently Catholic dogma and there is no verse in the bible that refers to Mary as a virgin

Here's an interesting question inspired by a conversation FalKoopa FalKoopa and I had.

How does your country perceive pets? Are they common? What kind of pet is common?

What kind if your favorite?

I can think of two conspiracies that no one has figured out yet.

1. Why is :dkmelee:'s singing voice still good in german, but not japanese?

2. What is the key to Leo Luster's sexiness?

3. Is :dkmelee:Bigfoot?

1. We have men and dinosaurs as pets.
2. Very.
3. Men. Dinosaurs are extinct dummy.

4. Spicy boned chicken wings.

I think my country perceives pets as sort of a member of the family. But a member of the family of a lesser caste than you.

Cats and Dogs are common

I think I'd prefer dogs because they are more useful, but on the other hand they are more work.

But I'd also like to have turtles as pets. Though they don't really do anything

Islam recognises the Bible (and Torah too iirc) as valid documents.
That's why Christians and Jews are called the "People of the book"

Although Islam being created by Roman Catholics is absurd as Catholics didn't even live in Arabia back when Islam was founded. It was only the pre-Islamic religions and Judaism.

You'd be surprised what is a conspiracy theory

Some people don't believe in radiation. Thing the nuclear scare was just a tactic for manipulation

There is always the flat earth

Yeah, that's why I never take those seriously.
Most of them can be debunked really easily. But that doesn't stop them from calling the facts that you present into question (that is a conspiracy too), so yeah, you can't win.

(If radiation is a myth, then sure, feel free to wander into Chernobyl or Fukushima. Don't blame us if you end up with radiation poisoning.)

On the Drunken Peasants podcast they've recently watched this guy claim that NUCLEAR BOMBS are fake. And it turns out this conspiracy theory is a lot more common than I thought it was.

As one of the members of the podcast said, if they ever start testing nukes again(which is hopefully never), they should put this guy at point blank holding a sign that says "Nukes aren't real".

Are you sure about this?

Because sources I found said that Catholicism was around 300 AD while Islam wasn't around until about 600 AD and that Christianity was around before that

Conspiracy theorists are some of the most wild ****ers I've ever seen.

I remember visiting a Flat Earth Society forum years ago. It was baffling, how could anyone still believe the Earth was flat? I came across a post that mentioned how everyone on the forum was just joking and messing around, of course the Earth isn't flat. I feel like if I were to head back there now, all the people who were just joking have probably been replaced with those that are actually serious.

Believe it or not, flat earthers are still around and they believe "The flat earth society" was a government ruse to discredit them

Judaism is the earliest Abrahamic religion.
Then came Christianity.
Then Islam.

Islam is the youngest of the three.

Exactly

Christianity came in the 1st century

Catholicism in Rome was made official in 300 AD

Islam wasn't founded until 600 AD
