But then the whole Vault 7 leak came out and that's super important

So I just beat Divine Beast Van Ruta.

Really great battle! I had lots of fun fighting it! My full thoughts can be read in the spoilers tag below:

Spoiler: Thoughts on Van Ruta Battle

It is a simple fight, but very enjoyable. You're riding Sidon's back, and you need to shoot down the ice blocks the Ruta throws at you. Once the ice blocks are shot down, you ride up the waterfalls spouting out of Ruta, then fire your Shock Arrows at the orbs when you're at the top.

Initially, I had a hard time shooting down the ice blocks, but eventually, I followed their pattern and shot them down quite easily. I found the Spiked Ice Orbs much easier to shoot down because, unlike the normal Ice Blocks, they follow behind you, so they are much easier to shoot down.

As for the orbs, I only got almost all of them on my first try. It was only the second orb that I initially missed, but then I shot the other orbs from the other side when the time came. With the final orb, Sidon put me on the other side where both orbs were already shot down, so I just used my glider to get the other side, then fired my Shock Arrow, and Van Ruta was defeated.

Also, can we take a moment and talk about the music that plays during the battle? No seriously, if you haven't, please listen to it!

10/10 battle theme right there! I got chills and goosebumps listening to it.

It really suits the environment of the entire battle: you're riding a badass Zora's back as you fight a giant mechanical elephant in the water, shooting down ice blocks it hurls at you, then climbing up water falls spewing out of the elephant, and shooting down the orbs with Shock Arrows in slow motion. The fact the camera slows down during it makes the battle feel even more intense during it.

Even Sidon's comments during the battle only make this battle even more awesome. Just listening to this song again keeps reminding me of how Sidon turns to you after shooting down the ice blocks and says, "Shock arrows ready?" it gives me even more chills hearing him say that.

Really, this battle was just so good! It was a lot of fun with an awesome theme to back it up.

Now it's time to explore the Divine Beast Van Ruta!

Anyways, here is the final child poll before I finally revisit some older Fire Emblem games. I went with Erureido's suggestion of Shiro, Kiragi, and Nina. Instead of Ignatius, I went for Ophelia because she's a highly popular child unit too. That way, there is a 50/50 split of male and female choices.

Shiro. Easily my favorite child in Fates, and the best written child character in the game IMO.

One thing I noticed about the majority the children is that each of them has a gimmick that dictates most of their supports (i.e. candy-lover, perfectionist, playing, garbage-obsession, yaoi-love, flirting, etc.), making the majority one-note as a result. Shiro stands out for not having a set gimmick and displaying variety in his supports thanks to his good-hearted sociable nature. He's a very chill dude with a bro-like attitude, the lovable jock type. He's open-minded about others with a great sense of humor; I had a good laugh when he referred to his dad as "The Big Cheese of Hoshido." He also has some memorable battle quotes, from that one critical quote where he says "Ready for this?", to one of his victory quotes when he just shrugs off the victory and says, "Next."

He's also an honest and practical fella'. In fact, he's one of the few characters that calls out how dumb the Deep Realms are and how his dad never cared for him that much while growing up. He even makes a great contrast to his father, being laid-back instead of serious all the time. Shiro strives to become stronger, but he also feels unsure of his own and even feels insecure about inheriting the throne. In fact, it's part of the reason why he picks up the naginata rather than sword: because he feels the need to surpass his dad. It even shows a human side to him: I'm sure many of us always want to take the easy way out of things when we want to achieve something, like how Shiro used paginates to automatically have an advantage against samurais. I can sympathize with that.

Also, practically all of his supports, especially that Caeldori support.

Shiro is a pretty good unit too. Spear Fighters are nothing to scoff at after all. On that note, more lance fighters for Smash please!

I noted that the two antivirus that I have (AVG and Malwarebytes) in my phone doesn't do much stuff but they impact the memory hard sometimes. Imma replace them with ESET.

Actually I want to use ESET on all my devices now.

I found at least 3, maybe 4. I know I've gotten the Woodcutter's Axe, a Double Axe(can be found at the stable under Death Mountain), and an Ancient Battleaxe. I believe I had another unique one at one point, but I didn't have the Camera feature at the time and it was destroyed in battle.

Well, I missed out on my chance yesterday when we were tagging A Distant Demon (now I just did it), and now I'm reminded that I've yet to properly see Monsters Inc. I think this is something that needs to be rectified.

Meanwhile, the past 24 hours have seen me dive back into TF2, seeing Logan last-night (An emotional rollercoaster all throughout the film; really enjoyed it, and Jackman and Keen's performances were amazing) and Prince Sidon's reminding me of Kamina. That's all I have to say for now.

Yeah. During my tower and shrine hunting, I ended up finding one of the "Major Test of Battle" shrines with one of the huge amount of HP little guardians that was fighting with a shield and 2 weapons, a Guardian Sword and, as in the weapon's name, a Battleaxe. It doesn't exactly look like an axe, but it has Battleaxe in the name.
Edit: Ended up running into a moving Guardian. Absolutely destroyed it with a Forest Runner Bow and a Ancient Arrow. I frickin' love the Forest Runner Bow. Three Arrows for the price of one.
