Man.. anyone else have problems with Smashboards loading?

Yeah. During my tower and shrine hunting, I ended up finding one of the "Major Test of Battle" shrines with one of the huge amount of HP little guardians that was fighting with a shield and 2 weapons, a Guardian Sword and, as in the weapon's name, a Battleaxe. It doesn't exactly look like an axe, but it has Battleaxe in the name.
Edit: Ended up running into a moving Guardian. Absolutely destroyed it with a Forest Runner Bow and a Ancient Arrow. I frickin' love the Forest Runner Bow. Three Arrows for the price of one.
Actually I forgot about the Guardian Axe. I wish there were more one handed axes.

Literally all I have are two handed swords and clubs.

I wonder how Bomberman R fares in sales so far. I'd love Konami to have a kick in the pants and realize people would like to see their characters in other places than casinos.
As far as I can tell physical copies don't exist cause none had any in stock so I had to buy it from the eshop.

Oh man The Lost Woods in this game are eerily creepy, but not in a scary way either, very mystifying...

It's also especially tricky to figure out, but I made it through...

And of course I found IT...
Seems the Shrines are for more than just increasing your health and stamina...You progressively lose health as you attempt to pull the Master Sword and it will kill you if you don't have enough health...12 hearts isn't enough, I have 6 Spirit Orbs atm so I can get one more, and I think three more if I swap out my stamina for hearts...but we'll see I'm in no rush right now...

Also completed the shrine right by the pedestal, was a very neat little constellation puzzle, at first was confused then I saw the constellation patterns on the far wall...

Now I'm doing the 'Korok' trials....they are quite interesting...

Another bonus is that now I have better access to Hestu so I can increase my Weapon slots whenever I get enough Korok Seeds...I bumped into him twice in my travels but now it seems he's going to remain here...My OCD hates when I leave behind useful weapons, even though I want to keep the ones I have on me...

Maybe now Konami will bring out more Bomberman games.

I'm still holding out for a Bomberman 64 3.

I have uncovered a whole new slew of conspiracy theories based on heavy "Mandala Effect" changes

Such as the physical human body being different

Wow, just...wow

I think the reason people remember the human anatomy incorrect is because inaccurate teachings of the human anatomy in the past.

A lot of things changed in science since I was a kid even. Psychology massively changed from when I took it the first time and when I took it the last time.

Extremely creepy Mandela effect

"Interview with the Vampire"

Most people remember it being "Interview with a vampire"

When it won an oscar, 2 oscars in fact, they called it "Interview with a vampire"

Ann Rice called it "Interview with a vampire" in an interview

The writer called it that, but it's not that

Being far too lazy to go back in this thread and check, does the title have anything to do with the fact that yesterday I was presented with the question of whether Lightning McQueen has life insurance or car insurance?

Now that's what the title should be pondering instead.

I've never really understood needing to relate to the character you're playing as.

I don't go out seeking role models when I'm gaming. I'm all for diversity when it's implemented with reason but a lot of it seems to exists simply so it exists rather than being of any actual consequence in the game. For example, I don't really care about the sexuality of characters in a game where their sexuality has no effect on the actual game.

Maybe I'm cynical but a lot of it comes across as pandering. It seems to me companies, especially Blizzard, are just trying really hard nowadays. And what they're trying to do is admirable, but a lot of it comes across as flippant and mostly for brownie points. And that's as a bisexual biracial female who has multiple family members with autism.

But to each their own.

I've never gotten it either. I usually pick the female characters, for example. My pokemon Go character is a black female with purple hair

I got to the special scene in the desert.
I was laughing so hard when you get the Gerudo outfit for getting into the town. Heck, I was laughing just from Link's pose after getting the outfit, with him being all shy. You're not helping yourself Link.
The stealth section involving the Yiga was pretty good. Although I think I made it too easy with the Shiekah armor(easily a must have armor in general). But it was very hilarious luring them with bananas out of all things. And it was about time I met up with this Master Kohga after hearing his name a couple times.
That being said, despite there being little-to-no hand holding, there are sections that just by looking at the area around you, you can tell the developers are just saying to you, "See all these bows and torches? See all those rugs? Obviously you must shoot them with fire."
That aside, the characters are still great, colorful and full of variety. To be very honest, I don't think this many characters have stood out to me since Majora's Mask.
-Majora's Mask I felt had the most amount of character developing compared to other titles, but part of that also came from interacting with them a whole bunch in the repeating 3-day session. Despite the similar character models to Ocarina of Time, you got to see a lot of different sides to the characters in Majora's Mask and you interacted with them on a much bigger basis compared to other titles. In terms of character interaction and developing, Majora's Mask is definitely the big winner of that in my book.
-I do give honorable mentions to Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. They definitely left impressions when you met and interacted with them. Not to mention in Wind Waker's case, you had the Nintendo Gallery adding to their character with the descriptions and whatnot. But while Wind Waker and Skyward Sword had good developing for characters like Groose, the King of Red Lions and even Ganondorf, Majora's Mask still wins in terms of character interacting and developing as not only did this apply to main characters, but also the amount of minor characters.
You weren't just learning about and witnessing the main characters developing, but you were also learning about and witnessing the minor characters developing as well. It felt like a living world in the idea that the main characters weren't the only ones developing and you were witnessing the effects of an incoming disaster on the lives of the bystanders and whatnot.

As far as I know, this is some additional information. With this on top of the previous rumors, I'm starting to think they'll reveal this thing (along with some other stuff, like whatever "Pokémon Stars" is) in a Direct in the next month rather than wait until E3.

Judging from the new character designs for cars 3

Lightning is going to need insurance

I'm honestly hoping you're right; the sooner the better in my eyes. Although I will admit; its pretty much safe to say at this point that E3 will be the max in terms of how long we would have to wait for an announcement on Smash.

Wow, the Mandela effect even goes into the JFK assassination conspiracies

According to this new universe, instead of a hidden assassin in the grassy knoll, JFK's wife apparently was the most likely second assassin, on assignment from the CIA to kill him. LOL

It' crazy.

But the thing that creeped me out...

There is a "Madela Effect" that has Christian scholars freaked out. There is a passage from the bible that people remember as saying something like "And the lion shall lay down with the lamb". There are hundreds of religious artwork throughout centuries depicting this bible verse. BUT, that's not what the verse says. It says "And the WOLF shall lay down with the lamb"... Which has completely different symbolic meaning.

My grandma actually had a poster with the lion and lamb phrase in her house. She still might

The world map is different than I remember

I remember South America a little more West and Australia a little more South. I also don't remember Greenland so large

But to each their own.
People like being able to relate to the characters they're playing with, it's important because it helps players get sucked into the game itself more easily and gives them a role model, which almost everyone has, that they can relate to.
Like, I understand why some feel like it isn't a necessity, but that's because those have always had a relatable character for them
But, in this case, autistic people never had a role model, or at least not many, like, seriously, I can't think of a single one right now from the top of my head. And yeah yeah, there probably IS one I'm forgetting about but how well-known they are also affects that.

And these are even more important to minorities, because for them, it basically means "it doesn't matter what others say, you can do it to!"
And what I'n talking about is mainly how it affects children but it helps older people too(and by that, I mean from teenagers to however-much-older-they-are) which is why you see people on Tumblr and stuff gushing over when shows or games have diversify their cast of characters. It's not just "whining" about representation but rather being actually happy that they have a character they can look up to.

Tl;dr people need role models in the form of characters they can relate to and you ain't getting that if all the characters were the same
So this is from a person that isnt a SAO fan.

The movie is good, I loved it
Yeah, I heard good things about it but in the end it still has a lot of wasted potential
They had the components to nake it good but didn't develop on them
Oh well, maybe it's a sign of change in the franchise's future
LOL, I'm starting to get freaked out a little

The positioning is right but the upper proportions are larger because, well, Earth being a globe, it's bound for a map of it to get distorted no matter what

LOL, I think the thing is, if you focus too much on finding things that have changed, EVERYTHING looks like it could have changed.

Kind of like the movie "The Number 23" where the guy finds the number 23 everywhere

Edit:

Another one that gets me is the "Mona Lisa"

I always remember her smile to be a lot more subtle than it is

That's why it's the butt of a lot of jokes in movies and cartoons, right?
