I've been hearing that people have had their stuff that they pre-ordered cancelled (namely with the Master Edition of BOTW and even a couple of Switch orders). It sucks, honestly. Not sure about the late part, though, but I wouldn't be surprised if you've seen many examples of that happening.

Apparently an odd detail of the dream was that since I was a shapeshifter our species could choose our own gender and I grew up as a little girl before deciding to be a man

Edit: Although that might have been after I woke up and fell asleep again
