No, not to my knowledge. That said, the general consensus going around, which I'm very much inclined to agree with, is we'll likely see it, if not get it, sometime this year.

I have to imagine it was in the same boat as games like BotW and Odyssey where it was originally intended to simply be a Wii U game, but at some point made the jump to Switch. It's such a commercially huge franchise, and Nintendo has had those HD Animal Crossing assets forever by now, it seems pretty unlikely it hasn't already been in the oven for a significant amount of time.

I'm inclined to believe this, I've seen the posts from this guy and he does seem to know something, and with the hints in Samus Returns it's definitely possible that the game is currently in the works and they have plans already set for it. It's of course not 100% confirmed as nothing is a guarantee with rumors, but I do think the stars are aligned for it.

Either way, I hope it is true. Samus Returns was a great game and what it gave in terms of what could happen in the future has gotten me excited for the next one, so it'd be fantastic to get another 2D entry that continues off of that.

That Sauros was optional to defeat in a certain quest, that Sauros is not hard to beat once you reach over level 80... of course...

okay ive got three things to reccomend

super bomberman R(its legit the best thing konamis done in years and we should reward the dog for not not ****ting on the carpet so it get the idea that not doing so is good)

master blaster zero (a requle* of the original blaster master with a bunch of crossover characters as dlc)

and mighty gunvolt burst (imagine of mighty number9 was a good game)

2 things of note
1 the term requle comes from the fact that its a remake of blaster master in america but a sequle to blastermaster in japan because of the main characters of japanese blaster master being plot relevant....i know its ****ing weird but i aint complaining

2 downlaod the demo of mighty gunvolt burst because youll get a free dlc characteer if you transfer the demo data to the full game(plus it'll elt you try the game out and see if you want to buy it)
