I'd say Splatoon 2, but... the gameplay is so same-y with not much new (well, about as much new as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I guess) you may as well call it a "port."

Other than that... Shovel Knight is always good. If you never got it, it's a great game. Then again, it's technically a "port", so it doesn't count.

Oh! Sonic Mania! AKA an actually good Sonic game.

Other than that... geez, um... I kinda wish I tried more indie games right now...

Is Extella good? Tempted to get it.

I'd say only if you're a Fate fan. Its gameplay is not as in depth as other Musous but it's much faster paced and has aerial combos. It also doesn't have as much content as the two Musou crossovers Nintendo has, only the main story with its four routes and the Side Stories for each non-main character that are just 3 chapters long.

Still, if you're a Fate fan, it's a good game to just mindlessly play, like any Musou. But if you're looking for more content and indepth gameplay, then I guess not.

-Is out before February 1st
-Is not ****ing Arms

If you like puzzle games, Puyo Puyo Tetris is good choice.

If you want a good strategy RPG, I really recommend Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.

And both have funny story writing.

My XV1 run's still ongoing, most recent milestone being that I pounded Perfect Cell's ass in the Future Trunks saga. But I'm impatient, and my guard button gets no love at all. So next order of business is cranking my level.

In the meantime, since my stock of innuendo jokes is already wearing thin, I've instead been compiling a scrapbook of people I've seen wandering around the lobby.

There was no physical release, only digital.

I got my hands on the collector's edition - Genesis facsimile and all - and even it came with a download card.

Given the games that you mentioned you have, I'd say two of the games that I can think of that fit those conditions.

-Splatoon 2: I'm not usually one to play multiplayer shooters, but I quite like Splatoon and Splatoon 2. The game feels very unique, imo, and while I haven't gotten as into it as some have, I've still had quite a lot of fun with it.

-Mario + Rabbids: I've only played the first world and the first level of the second world, but I've really enjoyed what I've played of it. The game is surprisingly in depth and has been quite fun so far.

I think that man in the middle is possibly Takahashi, or Saitou.
But I can also guess this this artist clearly hasn't played the game. This comic ain't totally wrong though.

It rather reminds me of Fire Emblem Fates to some extent...
