I see, meh, Takahashi says which rarest Blades you will get are completely random. That said in the game your idea level also determines too.
Well... You can use the Overdrive Protocol to switch Blades to another driver. That said Overdrive Protocol is rare in the game and I've checked, I think you can get it by completing a four star common Blade affinity chart.

And $&$&, My Nia also get Agate too lol. Even though Agate is a tank Blade, since Nia has a break art on Dromarch, you can then switch to Agate to do topple immediately.
If you have not seen my long boring combat guide... Let me jogged up some tips.
- Not only just pressing arts at the right time can boost your special art faster, switching blades at the right time also helps too.
- once you switch to another Blade, their arts are ready already, and pressing an art right when you Switch is not only an easy timing but also an efficient way to charge up your special art.
- More tip on Dromarch, his special art Lv II can be a great life saver besides Healing Halo. Thanks to Dromarch, dealing with unique monsters which are 5 to 10 levels higher than me isn't impossible.
- Thinking why your Blade seems to be weak? Don't forget to level up your arts with weapon points, and also refine and set Aux cores for your Blades.

Beside the Dromarch one, I knew most of the tips you said. I still get my ass kick by monster higer level than me though. So maybe I am just bad at the game lol.

I think I'm just going to the story for now, until my party become more powerful and I unlock some of my affinity chart.

I never said it is guarantee though, it is true I got my *** kicked a lot too because I forgot that when monsters reach to a certain damage they will have either a strong attack appear, have blocking arts, or can even call other monsters.

I tend to go with using Nia since I focus on healing and know her attack pattern more better.

That's....alot of detail to remember in one setting. But I try my best to remember. Right now, only Nia can break and topple from what I understand. The others don't have the possibility. (Though, Rex can launch thanks to Gorg, and Tora can break. I see what I can do)

I didn't know Gorg can launch... Maybe I'll check later... So far there isn't much Blades that have launch arts for me too...

So Happy New Year. Since it's now January, I will allow people's eyes to rest from seeing my nightmare fuel Avatar(as I promised I would keep that one for all of December) and I'll be changing to a more happy Avatar. And so I will pick NY!Corrin for a New Years Avatar, cause he needs some love and attention.
Also, I still hope that if Binding Blade Echoes happens, it will be in the form of a Binding X Blazing Sword double pack. Mostly because it'll make it more possible to have alot more consistency between the two if they do both rather than just Binding. Also for playable Mark, Child stat boosts and Skill passings from Parents and for the possible Binding Blade & Durandal Title Logo.

Lilina's Mode added to Binding Blade with a cryptic Gaiden requirement for the true ending.
You have to play Hector's Mode in Blazing Sword, unlock all Gaiden chapters and then play Lilina's in Binding Blade and then unlock every gaiden chapter+a new one that requires you to beat Neverending Dream in less than 15 turns

Honestly, as much as I like Hector, Lyn just doesn't feel to suit daddy Hector. Lyn has to be in the plains. But I also don't like the other pairings, Kent just seems so boring and does nothing to deserve the love of the best girl in the franchise, and Rath does seem the most normal choice, but I have a personal grudge against him, so I can't support that pairing either.

In my mind, the only pairing that makes sense with Lyndis is with Mark. If you take any kind of dialogue she does outside of FE7, she just can't stop talking about the tactician and just how close both were. She's really charming whenever she talks about the tactician, so my guess is after FE7, wherever Mark disappeared to, Lyn followed him.

Also, on this topic, as much as I'd like a FE4 remake, the game remake that would be mind-blowing to me would be the FE6-7 remake. It would have the best ingredients to please lots of fans.

-They would be remaking the first FE game most of us have played, and also one that wasn't released overseas.
-Lyn, Hector and Roy are three of the most popular character in the franchise, so having them as poster boys would raise the popularity of the game.
-If they really wanted, they could please the new fans by giving Mark the Kris/Robin treatment (I prefer Kris, but that's me) and make it an avatar that can fight.
-We could get child unit's that are not stupidly implemented because FE6 would work as 2nd generation, and would be similar to FE4 in that term.

Honestly, I hope this becomes reality one day. FE7 was my first FE game, and it's my favourite tied with Path of Radiance. If the game ends like Shadows of Valentia in terms of presentation, I would be the happiest man alive.

Speaking of Lyn; she used to be in Project M. She would be a pretty interesting addition to Smash for Switch, but I think she will stay as an assist trophy. It is kind of funny seeing a bunch of people dreaming of Lyn's "dating mate".

Steamworld Dig 2 is amazing btw....Starts off pretty slow and simple but the game improves the more you play...

Speedruns of this game will be interesting, seeing how they best use Dorothy's arsenal for efficient movement as well as management of resources for upgrades...

That along with me putting good equipement on my blades made me able to beat quest monsters and unique monsters I wouldn't be able to defeat so easily. Seriously It feel so good to smash a enemy into the air, chain lots and lots of attacks on top of another while the enemy can't do anything, until you finish them with a special art, Holy Architecte, this make the gameplay 100x better. And this is just chapter 3.

Happy New Year I guess.

I don't really feel that excited when a new year comes along really. It just doesn't feel like it means much to me that the year is 1 higher than the previous one.

I guess it doesn't help that there aren't really that many games that I'm looking forward to that release this year. Granted, I feel like I will spend a good portion of this year playing games that released last year or before that (just like last year), so it's not a huge deal.
Although, my feelings may change during this month, but at the moment, there's only about 5 games that I'm looking forward to.

As for the games I'm looking forward to:
Dissida Final Fantasy NT
Shadow of the Colossus
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology
Fire Emblem Switch
Kingdom Hearts 3

Kirby Star Allies, the new Yoshi game, and the Secret of Mana remake also look interesting, but I'm not looking forward to them quite as much as the 5 I mentioned previously.

(Also I doubt Pokemon Switch, Metroid Prime 4, or Episode 1 of the FFVII remake will release in 2018, due to the former two being very early in development when they were announced and not much has been said since, and I believe (Correct me if I'm wrong) that the last time there was news on the latter, the developers weren't even finished with the prologue.)

Well, there's one unique monster which is a Blade bonded unique monster. I akwaya hate those kind of monsters because they will block your arts for a while unless you break them. Not to mention even when they are only a level or two higher than you you will have a high chance of being defeated. Of course this means I need to level up in order to defeat that monster but I digress.

Just like how Floren says: I am tired of getting beat up.

I think Cartoons are dying ( I am not talking about anime; just cartoons. Please do not give me that "ANIME IS A CARTOON!!!" excuse. ). A lot of very popular cartoon shows are getting less popular and more children ( their main target usually ) are beginning to watch lets plays on YouTube or whatever instead of watching stuff like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network. More people ( mostly adults at this point ) are beginning to increase at watching anime. Anime will never die.

I'm about one-fifth done with a pretty huge post I've been working on. I'm trying to get it done before the Switch presentation for it to be the most relevant though.

Funny thing is due to sheer luck Ultraman X pirating doesn't work for me. Though I still have 5 legitimate toku DVDs. Can't use them yet though
