So, Takumi is a Dagger unit. Azura is an Axe user again. M!Corrin is a Bow user. Camilla is our FIRST SEASONAL SWORD CHARACTER! Either way, they all look very nice. But than again, I am a fan of Yukatas and Kimonos. But also glad to see M!Corrin get some love.

Jeez, something is up with my mouse today. It's not registering my left-clicks for some reason. It was especially annoying when I was playing Overwatch, as my weapon wouldn't fire most of the time.

Camilla and Azura are Fliers. Takumi and M!Corrin are Infantry. Gunthra has expressions, so she's going to be part of the story at some point. Also, another VG is coming up. The Ephraim & Eirika Bound Battle is coming back. And Anna is getting quests. And there is also a set of Infantry quests coming up. Also, Gunthra also has 19 Defense, meaning if both her and Brave Lyn are on the enemy team, it's B!Lyn who suffers unless Gunthra has -DEF or B!Lyn has +DEF.
Edit 2: I also have to say that I love NY!Takumi's title. "Prince of Soup."

You should get a microSD card whenever possible. I've got a 128 GB card myself.

If you do have one, then, uh, whoops. Then perhaps get a larger-capacity card.

Nah, getting indie games don't require that much, 64 GB card is enough if you are going to buy indie games as downloaded and AAA games physical like I do.

Xenoblade 2 Progress Report from Strider -

Rex: Lvl 12, Recruited Tora and Poppi. Story is coming along nice and smoothly now that we've new team members not to mention Poppi's hilarious awakening cutscene. Now that I've Tora, I might wrap up that Crane side-quest before I go rescue Nia. What was drawing a bit of ire in me was how ridiculous it was Rex kept dying in 1v1 fights during some exploration and side-quests. The Aegis's slow auto-combos didn't help, but thankfully I think I've found a good 'Jagen' Blade in a Knuckle Blade called 'Kurenai.' If you ask me, the knuckles might be my weapon of choice alongside Swords - much faster auto-combo and nicely complemented with a Healing Blade. Though I gotta say, I'm pleasantly reminded of Wakka from FFX whenever I bring out the Bitball. I guess that's one thing to get while the Steam Sale's still on - FFX-2 Remastered. It'd be nice to have VII to X on the PC ready to go in succession when I go on a Final Fantasy binge again. Anyways, now that Tora and Poppi are on the team, I should be dying a lot less frequently.

But I think so far, Gormott Province leaves a very 'Gaur Plains' impression when you step out on to it for the first time. If we were to see XC2 content in a future Smash instalment, I imagine it'd be a likely choice for a new stage.

All in all, 8 hours so far and hopefully more fights can be completed rather than R.I.P again, Rex.

Edit ...I think it's maybe time to swap avis to avoid confusion. Gimme a second...

Yeah, after that I started to do some minor grinding I think... and oh god... lower your character voice volume before saving Nia... because those soldiers... after that my head can't stop think of those...

I actually recommend you to just go and save Nia first... you can do more grinding easily once you save her.

And I didn't get my first rare Blade until the end of chapter 2... and hell, I got two rare Blades right after finishing chapter 2.

Anyways, I won't talk about the main story too much, but if you found yourself stuck or just have problems with the game feel free to ask me.
Oh yeah, for those were are annoyed by quests, there was one quest that helps open one particular landmark in Uraya... but inside has lv 60 monsters... it took me a few tries to defeat them all and the unique monster a few days ago. But what did I get?

Lots of common core crystals, some rare core crystals, silver, photon, and even gold chip? Wow...

I also send you a friend request, don't be too shocked on how much Xenoblade 2 I've played, I bought the game day 1, and purchased the season pass a day later.

Oh lord.......NY!Azura's BST is hinting that she may very well be a Flying Dancer. The datamine shows that she has a Pegasus as part of her sprite, while her BST hints that she suffers lowered BST for being both a Flier and a Dancer, as NY!Camilla has 162 BST while Azura has 150 BST. Plz don't do this IS. Not when a Flying Dancer can use the likes of Iote's Shield, Guidance AND the Flier Boost skills.

It is pretty tough. I played through hard without casual. A lot of resets were needed. The final map is also pretty tricky. Good luck with the remainder of them!

If you see my review I made a while ago, I sort of dislike Nia's English voice, but now I'm okay with it.

Not just missed though but sometimes it will help you more on combat when you know what the character says... but sometimes I go with Japanese VA sometimes.

You won't miss a lot since you can rewatch cutscenes in any language, time, weather, you like in most in most of them.
And once you get chain attack...

Nia sometimes will say
"MEEEEEOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!" after doing chain attack.

And if you are still confused on Floren... just go and get Floren and you will know why we call Floren Venus Boy Trap.

I actually already knew a bit even before the game was released.

Actually nevermind about shutting off the character voice when dealing with the Ardainian soldiers if you are playing with Japanese VA... because they were WAY less annoying in Japanese! Nia though she sounded better but still a bit annoying.

Seriously, Shinzou wo Sasageyo from AoT Season 2 should be a top priority. Linked Horizon never disappoints.

Brave Shine by Aimer (the opening to Fate/Stay Night UBW Season 2) is also really good. It's slower-paced, yet it's epic!

So I did my first 5 Orbs from the Legendary Banner. I got a Nino, a Reinhardt, a Palla, a Henry, and my first 5-Star is Innes. A pure Neutral IV Innes. So I have Eirika, Innes and Tana. But no Ephraim to go with them.

Did my free summon in the legendary banner and got the other Green Tome cavalier. Decided not to pull because of the datamine.

My boy Takumi and my girl Azura are in there, so I have to pull. I want Azura for my flier emblem (A flier singer seems so dope, waiting for the ranged cavalier dancer).

Still gotta wait on the skills, they aren't datamined yet right? But knowing IS they'll give insane skills to make people pull even if they don't like the characters. Not liking this trend of legendary and seasonal banners honestly, a F2P can't keep up with all of this.

Edit: it seems this time the skills are nothing special. Corrin has nothing useful, Takumi has bowbreaker and Atk/Res bond, Azura has hone fliers and Camilla ward fliers. Disappointing to say the least...

Yeah I agree. Some people said it would be a Hoshidian banner with Takumi, MCorrin, Ryoma and Hinoka. I knew this was not the case because it's always 2 males and 2 females. But if you're going to put Azura, then there was no reason to not have Hinoka... Not only we don't get seasonal units from other games, but we get the same units multiple times.

Takumi's weapon is a Killer/Slaying weapon. And he even comes with Moonbow. When you consider his good Speed, he's bound to hit with Moonbow often and deal pretty decent damage.
If PA!Azura was a big deal, than NY!Azura is definitely a bigger deal. A Flier with Sing and Hone Flier. Oh boy.
Camilla also gives a decent amount of DEF/RES somewhat like Corrin, except for Fliers rather than one ally. She gives any Flier within 2 spaces +6 DEF & RES with her weapon and Ward Fliers.

Of course they'd release a dancing flier as soon as I was ready to dedicate myself to the Legendary Heroes banner. Having a dancer that can fly would be a boon for my flier emblem team, but I really want Bridal Lyn and Innes, so now all of my orbs will be gone before the new year even gets going.

I just had a day like that a couple days ago when I was required to work. What made it worse was that it was Christmas, I was missing time with my family, and the situation at the job was horrid since everyone had to run around to keep up with the consumer demand. It's a terrible situation to be in really.

I found for me, finding any moment where I could get a couple minutes to catch my breath behind a nice drink or something really helped in keeping me going. It was minor, but just taking those moments whenever they were offered did allow me to keep going even when it seemed like everything was trying to bury me under stress.

I've just done two pulls from the new banner with Gunthraá and managed to score a 5-Star Elise and a 4-Star Lukas. I'm pretty content with this outcome, but I'm gonna aim for a Hero from the Christmas banner before it's too late.

LOL, yeah, that's how much I've played, and it's not like it's because the game is new... probably because:
- This is a JRPG, and JRPGs do take a very long time in order to complete (Not just finishing story).
- Sure Xenoblade 2 is still great if you merely just finish the story, but same with Botw and Odyssey (Two are GOTY nominees, and one winner) is a type of game where you can go and try to get rare Blades, defeat unique monster, complete quests and discover secret landmarks. There's just so many things to do in this game.
- This is the only JRPG I have for now, maybe I will play Valkyria Chronicles 4 about the same amount of time too when I get the game, but who knows.

Yep, and this is what I got in Xenoblade 2:

I got a Legendary core crystal from a white treasure chest recently... but I might need to raise up my luck in order to get another rare Blade.

And I got those common core crystals without spending any real cash... I'm looking at you EA....

I'm just glad they aren't blatant powercreep like the Christmas units, these all seem reasonable.

Still, I won't be pulling in it, no character I really want tbh and no good skill fodder

I came here just to see how the NY banner was going to be to see if it was worth saving Orbs for so I still haven't summoned anything

Starting from Leon is my loot on this banner
I didn't have Leon and I always liked him so maybe I'll try building him, I do have a 4* Klein that could use some promoting...
Ninos are good for Merges, none of them are +Spd so I won't even bother seeing what their actual IVs are.
Guess I can't be mad about Elise though, but I'll try building her as a pseudo-mounted Mage with the Wrathful Staff forge

Well, watching my teams in FEH I realised the only one with an open slot is my armor team, which has Black Knight, Hector and Effie. So, decided to yolo summon on the Christmas banner hoping to get any unit, and...

Boy, another 5 star Catria! I'm actually happy, since I did have a +2 Catria. I wanted to do some Catria appreciation when she appeared at the voting gaunlet, but didn't get the chance at all. She's one of my favourite characters in all Fire Emblem, and I always feel really bad for her...

So, this is my "very original" Catria build

I use her in my defense team just to mess up people with guidance, I'd love to see my defenses to see if that actually works (Please IS, add that to your game). I also wish she wasn't in the 5 star pool, and rather have her as a 3-4 star character, so I could get her easily, I'm going to try +10 her. They should change lots of things with the 5 star pool, but that's a matter of other day.

I'm considering giving her the summoner support... I mean, my favourite character is Lyn, but she's already so good, and since sword Lyn just refuses to come home... Also, now I NEED flier Azura, she would be a great teammate for my Catria. Flier Emblem is going to be so much fun if I do get her.

Also, what boosts does Gunthra's blessing provide? I'm curious to know what the Assist skill icon means or if IS ****ed up and it's just a Def boost

I went and found all the DLC outfits in BotW and tbh they're disappointing. Only a few masks have useful effects and all the rest only have the same abilities as standard outfits but with significantly worse defense. You can't dye or upgrade any DLC clothes so it's left to nostalgia/fashion. There isn't even an accessory that lets you climb in the rain- something the game desperately needs.
Fashion BotW isn't very good. Most things look mismatched when combined with other sets. The dying feature is as basic as it gets and rarely helps clothes match. You can't dye the best piece in the game- the champion's tunic. There's an awesome cape on one of the DLC tops but it freaking disappears if you wear the hoodie with it! Fashion Souls>>>>>>>>>>Fashion BotW.

Off the top of my head here's a list of better clothes than what we got:
Roc's cape- higher jumps/double jump
Midna's Helmet- hand stops slipping in the rain
Goron tunic- walk on lava but still take damage instead of voiding out
Mask of Truth- enemy locations on minimap
Pegasus boots- faster run speed
Magic Armor- lose rupees instead of hearts
Bomb outfit- bigger bombs
Chef's hat- higher odds of meal having stronger effects (when the special jingle happens)
Hover Boots- Walk on water

Sigh. Hopefully the dungeon and other DLC content will be better.
