Never got to play the first two Paper Mario games? Those two were really great. And man, I miss playing TTYD. Had a fantastic experience through that whole adventure.

The only Paper Mario game I have ever tried was TTYD. That is probably the best Paper Mario game. I feel like Sticker Star was a slight step downward like what they did with Mario Party 9: The characters are in the same spot all the time in a vehicle. The sad part is Mario Party 10 and Color Splash ( sequel of Mario Party 9 / sequel of Sticker Star ) encouraged this by adding the same things that fans complained about ( removal of experience and many more / the car and no separation in Mario Party 9 ). I hope they change it back like what they did with TTYD and they make the characters more separated instead of the "car" thing in Mario Party 9 / 10.

And yet he's still one of the most notable Archanean characters with Warriors being the only thing he's missed out on. Troll harder.

But catching on an early topic - the removal of auto-attacks and moving at the same time in XC2 is pretty annoying. If you ask me and the way in which Arts are now charged from attacks rather than over time - my first gripe with the game has emerged - the battles can drag on for ages because of it, even worse when more enemies show up making it go on for longer than it should.

having middling growths means he's prone to being RNG screwed, and he has to compete with Pent eventually. He usually ends up either matching or being outclassed by Pent.

How far are you into the game? Because I think while at first it drags on a bit, later mechanics help speed up the process a lot. Especially when everyone has 3 Blades they can choose from, it can get pretty fast and chaotic.

It helps that there's plenty of skills for the characters that compensate for it.

Not too far in - About 3 hours and reached the town in Gormott Province. Rex is around Lvl 9 while Nia's about 8, so I guess it'd be a bit unfair to judge how the rest of the battles might play out based on the early-game battles. The fact I'm trying to pick fights with enemies at least 3-4 levels higher mightn't help when everyone's using their base weaponry.

Pent the EXP monster usually comes with everything better, even a wife.
Who even needs Pent though, Nino is all I need for an Anima Mage

So to continue on my Christmas story.

My parents said it was a practical Christmas.

They were right.

I got canned food, paper towels, toothpaste, etc.

They basically did months of grocery shopping in advance.

Not very exciting but I appreciate it. Saves me a lot of time and money.

idk steamworld but shovel knight and the botw dlc are worth it.

switching between similar controls is a pain in the butt. skyrim, botw, dark souls 3 and horizon all have very similar gameplay but different button mapping. I wish more games had fully custimizable controls.

My mom dropped some not-so-subtle hints i should get rid of my old bleach stained bathroom rug, towels and shirts by getting me a new bathroom set and clothes. i needed them as my kitten tore holes in my shirts when she was younger.

My kitten's now about 21 months old. she's really cute; when i go in the kitchen to brush my teeth she jumps on the counter and chews the scrub brush so it's like we're brushing together, lol.

I'm really tired, only got 3 hours of sleep in the past 25 hours.

Oh steamworld dig is definitely worth it too. I'm played more of shovel knight cos that's like 4 games in one and it seems harder (at least for me cos not used to retro stuff) but steamworld is just more plain fun.

Starting to see what the giibby jab was all about in shovel knight all this time. It has some good charm and great game design.

Eh, not going to criticize your opinion or anything, but you did sort of insult me before... Just saying. Hell, it was even just a trifling matter, in my opinion at least.

I kinda like how Valkyria Chronicles handles its units. Most playable units aren't story-relevant, they don't even get any introduction, they are just there in the base to recruit and you can choose any them.
All their info is on the Personnel tab, which has some small info on them, like the reason they jpined the army and other stuff, but their profiles are constantly updated as you progress so you can learn more about them as you go on.

So far my favorites are Vyse, Aika, Marina and Elysse
Vysa and Aika actually remember two of my characters, Marina is my favorite of the Snipers and I love how they play here and Elysse is the Tank Killer.
Seriously, she ****ing destroyed 4 Tanks in Episode 5, she deserves her Tank Killer ability. She just takes that lance and shoves it up their ass, basically, and they blow up, I love her.

**** Largo and Rosie though. **** them. Why do they have to have Command Stars attached to them **** them.

Started Samus Returns a little while ago and read some classic Spider-Man books.

I actually forgot how much Peter talked **** to Flash Thompson in the early books. So far all of Peter's brooding has been about money and crime fighting. I mean, that much I knew already, but I didn't know just how much is all. Can't forget that his suit was Red and Black first.

As for Samus returns, I haven't gotten too far, but I got more or less everything up to the Spider-Ball. Which I'm surprised I got so early, I only took out 2 Metroids though.

Yeah Spider Ball is actually an early game power up.

Far as I know, it's never been a late game power up even though it feels like one.
