Great that we've got an Australian there at the Game Awards. Game development is sadly a dying industry outside of mobile games, so I'm glad that the guy who made Level Squared got recognition.

Also this guy presenting is Tommy Wiseau levels of enthusiastic.

Yeah I remember Good Game doing a story on Aussie developers and they were basically all mobile developers.

Really only time I see games get mentioned on the News are E3 or when something is really selling well but it's not like The Game Awards are going to get brought up like the Oscars or whatever.

Some random thoughts..
when the Mega Man X collection comes out, I very much doubt it'll happen, but I hope the Switch version will get a 3 pack Amiibo set of X, Zero and Sigma...
Having seen Atom's Super in Injustice 2, all of a sudden the Falcon Punch is a little less impressive, no pun intended..
As for Bayo 3...A: I hope Bad Moon Rising is the theme, I mean, why not....and B: I have my doubts it'll be anywhere near as good as Bayo 2 was said to have been. We'll see.
I''ve never played Soul Caliber, but man, I'm very much stoked for VI to come out this coming year.

2 games of near-unbeatable, stylish heroes. Dante get shot and stabbed to hell and back, but tanks it like a champ. Bayo dodges everything or damn near everything.

Dante gets bopped by Vergil early on in DMC3. Bayo gets bopped by mysterious Purple Person.
