Just came back from SerenesForest, and oh boy there is a lot of division regarding the Gauntlet results. One half is salty over Shanna's victory, the other half is praising the finals as one of the best things ever.

Honestly, the gameplay was fairly good, just a bit buggy, and while the story was... kind of bad, it still had great music. The graphics were a bit outdated, though.

Indeed. The story was kind of bad, but the characterization was still fun. Knuckles was inconsistent due to writing and auto-cutscene like moments. Like him telling you that you need to go into a tornado to continue the stage. After, his words are "Help! We're being sucked in!" The helpful hints really make the game feel weird sometimes.

Idk who to pick. I picked the boy by default in Sun, but his default clothing in this game are really bad. I might go with th>only lesson is the girl because it fits better with my starter this time around.

This is not an underdog beating the overdog, it's like if Mr. Satan won a Dragon Ball tournament.
The best thing is that this will create many memes and this is why we play FEH, right? Right!?

I jumped from 119 Sacred Coins to 289 just by doing them on Normal and Hard, and I haven't beat some of the quests yet.
I also like the Daily Log-In bonuses with Badges and Coins since the latter is a scarce resource at the moment and the former is just good when you need 400 ****ing badges and 1000 small ones to strenghen a seal

Also, mfw I don't have the Distant Def seal and IS won't re-release it on the Forge

You know something interesting now. This is the 8th Voting Gauntlet. That means there's a possibility of a VG Winners Gauntlet. Consisting of Lucina, Camilla, Tharja, Elise, Summer Corrin, Ike, Ninian and Shanna. Those In the Top 100(Ninian is exactly 100th place on the CYL Poll) & that one between 150 and 200.

That'd mean they'd have to re-release S!Corrin, silly.

But yeah, I could see it happen, especially in December.

Tbh, Sonic didnt even look all that tortured in the scene before he escaped. You would expect him to look scrtached or beat up but nope, clean as a plate out of the dishwasher

People hated Goten being able to turn Super Saiyan but at least Goten can't actually beat any of the seasoned warriors in a fight, even Gotenks was treated as a joke

It's also Goku "Getting more energy through fighting" that's BS

He's always had Zenkai, but Zenkai doesn't work like that. Zenkai is essentially an evolution mechanic that takes "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" to the extreme. The saiyan nearly dies, and after they recover they get stronger to adapt to whatever was able to damage them that much. The key point being they gained that strength while recovering from damage.

Getting punched in the face is the antithesis of recovering from damage

Actually people took it well; as it was stated multiple times that SSB was nerfed because Goku was tired, resulting in him using KK inefficiently.
Also, despite he got kicked super hard in the head, he was competitive before that.

Now time to wait until "Goku dad ****s Kefla" Saturday

I watched a spoiler video for USUM, and I'm very happy with how they handled one of the evil team leaders in particular.

I was worried that Ghetsis in particular would get shafted or toned down for whatever reason. I just didn't think they'd do a villain team up without at least one of them being flanderized or softened in some way. After all, Ghetsis was a manipulative monster that psychologically abused three people throughout their lives at least (N, Anthea, and Concordia, and potentially the Shadow Triad but we can't say for certain), had a god complex rivaling Cyrus's, and attempted to murder the hero of Black 2 and White 2. Not to mention he's a dirty cheater with his under leveled Hydreigon.

...They didn't pull any punches.

He reveals he's been manipulating Giovanni, helping him gain his power only so he can later usurp him. He even threatens to kill Lillie after losing to the player, giving them the sadistic choice of backing down and giving up their Poké Balls, or refusing and risking Lillie dying. Then Colress comes in like a badass and Ghetsis is apprehended and sent back in the most badass Deus Ex Machina ever, but who cares because Colress.

For what little screen time he had, they did him justice. He's still a manipulative monster who isn't above attempting to murder children. Plus his theme song remix is the best of the bunch by far.


...Sadly, however, his Hydreigon is no longer under leveled since he's a post game fight lol.
