Besides Pokémon, there's other Nintendo news: ARM's official Twitter is teasing a new stage for the game (and extremely likely a new fighter too)
Possibly a plant based fighter if the concept names in the game's data mean anything.

Each of Castform's forms has an entry. Not sure if that happened in Sun and Moon. Edit: Yes it did, but these are still new.
  1. Castform: Although its form changes with the weather, that is apparently the result of a chemical reaction and not the result of its own free will.
  2. Castform(Sunny): This is the form Castform takes on bright days. In an experiment where Castform was placed in front of a heater, it didn’t change to this form.
  3. Castform(Rainy): Castform changes to this form when rain hits it. Its body is soft and slightly swollen with water.
  4. Castform(Snowy): This is the form Castform takes when hit by hail. In an experiment where it was placed in a freezer, it didn’t change to this form.

I half expected Rainy to say "In an experiment where it was water boarded, it didn't change to this form."
Omg they put a pokemon in a freezer? isnt that... Pokemon Abuse?

So I finally looked into...

This badass cat ninja Pokémon. I am sad that its just an Electric-Type, however this dude is fast, has a great movepool, its immune to Volt Switch and resistant to U-Turn, AND ITS A ****ING ELECTRIC CAT NINJA!

I'm really hoping this Pokémon gains a fanbase. Its just awesome.
Uhm, how exactly is it immune to Volt Switch and resistant to U-Turn though?

Blacephalon, Stakataka, Poipole, Naganadel, & Zeraora, eh? An Ultra Beast that evolves? Dang!

Shame no new type combinations.

Oh boy

I got all of the Red Star Rings, Numbered Rings, and Silver Moon Rings in Sonic Forces.

You get...

...a trophy.

On Switch, that would mean absolutely nothing.

You get Avatar parts for the Red Star Rings, including for getting all of them. But the Numbered Rings and Silver Moon Rings don't ever get you anything.

That really annoys me.

Still haven't 100%'d the game, since I need to do the Challenge Missions. Also Episode Shadow still isn't on the EU PSN.

Ignore the U-Turn part, I was getting matchups mixed up. But with Volt Absorb, it is immune to Electric-Type attacks, allowing it to switch in on a predicted Volt Switch, which is useful in stopping VoltTurn teams.

I know it's not new, but having another Poison/Dragon has me hyped as heck right now. I hope it's not locked to post game, although it probably is.

Speedrunning with the Drill Wispon is really fun.

Featuring a dog avatar inspired by my actual dog.

There was a problem fetching the tweet

Also here is Shadow cosplaying his favourite anime character.

Forces unexpectedly came in the mail today.

Time for, something.
It may sound odd at first but I won't be buying any games for November, and yep I canceled my DOOM preorder not because I don't want the game but I want to see the reviews and how it is it on Switch.

Anyhow, I really can't stop thinking of Tales of Berseria The Flame Trailer when watching the Japanese and sub trailer...
They kind of have the same style...

I bet NoA post Mythra's face intentionally...

Looking forward to purchasing Mario Party: The Top 100 soon.

But if there's one thing that really irks me is that this abomination of a mini-game is returning.

https://www.mariowiki.com/Mecha-Marathon

This mini-game needs to rot in hell where it belongs.

I have no issue with this mini game. Maybe you haven't pressed hard enough? ;)

That being said the MP100 I'm disappointed with the roster because I was kinda expecting a couple of more characters

How did they even figure out which are the most popular 10 mini games from each party?

This makes me want to know the answer to an only slightly related question: What user data is Nintendo gathering from people? I know they're monitoring our play times if we opt in, but could they take something like this?

Granted this would only apply to like, two or three Mario Party games out of the pool even if they could judge the most played games off of that.

With the new Pokémon leaked (including BSTs and movepools), I have decide to create some possible movesets for them that I will likely try out when they officially arrive.
Cat-Fu
Zeraora@Choice Band
Ability: Volt Absorb
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack/252 Speed/4 Sp. Defense
Close Combat
Plasma Fists
Knock Off
Fire Punch

Additional Notes: This thing under Electric Terrain is going to be ****ing scary. A 100 base power attack boosted by terrain and band will tear through mostly anything that doesn't resist it.
---
Z-Beast
Naganadel@Dragonium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp. Attack/252 Speed/4 Sp. Defense
Sludge Wave
Flamethrower
Nasty Plot
Draco Meteor

Additional Notes: After Nasty Plot, Z-Draco Meteor will hit like a truck. Its attacks have the best coverage, only being walled by Heatran.
---
Scarf Doggo
Lycanroc(Dusk)@Choice Scarf
Ability: Tough Claws
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Attack/252 Speed/4 Defense
Accelrock
Fire Fang
Drill Run
Stone Edge

Additional Notes: Losing 2 Speed is pretty bad, but a Tough Claws Drill Run is basically a high crit Earthquake, which is fantastic. Everything except Stone Edge gets boosted by Tough Claws, and the given move set has a very large coverage. If you prefer, you could replace Fire Fang with Iron Head, hitting Fairies hard, though I do not reccomend it as fire covers a larger ground.
---
Trickster Beast
Blacephalon@Choice Scarf
Ability: Beast Boost
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp. Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Sp. Defense
Trick
Mind Blown/Fire Blast
Shadow Ball
Psychic
Additional Notes: I really don't know lol. Trick is useful for shutting down walls like Chansey, Mind Blown can seriously hurt anyone who doesn't resist it, although Fire Blast is a safer option, Shadow Ball for coverage, and Psychic for Toxapex and Naganadel.
---
Janga Cipher
Stakataka@Groundium Z/Fightium Z/Rockium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
Nature: Brave
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 4 Sp. Defense
IVs: 0 Speed
Gyro Ball
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Superpower/Stealth Rocks

Additional Notes: Great Trick Room abuser. Very powerful Gyro Ball. Z-Moves will work well here for punching large holes into enemy teams. If not using Fightium Z, use Stealth Rocks instead.
Please note that these are rough drafts and aren't meant to be taken seriously.

Sonic Forces impressions:
- I like it
- Bosses are dumb tho

I can't post pics here for reasons but my avatar is based on my actual cat. In case anyone was curious.

I'll probably go to Firehouse Subs tomorrow for the Wifi to post pics of the OC + download the DLC and patches.

Also I'm super early into the game still.

Interesting to know that you like it.

Why are bosses dumb though, if you don't mind me asking.

Well TBH I've only done two bosses so far and it's Zavok who I don't like. Modern's controls feel a bit too stiff for my taste so a Crash Bandicoot-style boss fight isn't really a great mix.

Zavok is one of my favourite bosses in the game actually.

I wish we got more ones like it and the Avatar's Infinite fight.

Most of the other bosses are just dodge some obstacles to catch up to the bad guy while boosting and then do some Homing Attacks. Just lesser versions of Silver's fight in Generations.

Yeah Zavok didn't really feel like a Sonic boss. Even if the controls weren't stiff, a top down arena fight over a bottomless pit just doesn't feel right for a fast character at all.

So far I only made it about as far into the game as you have give or take, but I felt like in every respect the game started out rough and got progressively better each stage. Still a fair bit of polish left to be desired, but by the time I hit the second boss I was legit having fun.

Well there's one obvious thing in the US/UM leaks that I'm happy about.

Incineroar gets Fire Punch and Thunder Punch. That's all I really wanted from it. It'll also get Iron Head, Knock Off and Low Kick.

I think I might get rid of the light type for my pokemon game. Diamomd type is gonna stay though.

I wanna see if Tsareena gets some new moves cause Tsareena needs some more non-grass types.

Mario Odyssey is fun, though I don't think it's as hype as BotW, personally. Maybe this will change but I feel like BotW did more to inovate the Zelda formula than Odyssey seems to be doing.
Like, I LOVE the movement options here but I feel like the Cappy mechanic is just meh, it's mostly just used for puzzles and the likes and there doesn't seem to be a lot of creativity eith what you can do with them. You possess something, you do what they're supposed to do.
My favorite is the Bullet Bill though, simce it gives you a temporary flight ability in a very open map, it's quite fun and useful.

I'm on Wood Kingdom or whatever, chose it first because lol water levels pls no.
Sand Kingdom was fun but there's a lot of open space, like, the whole southwestern section could have something more to it.
Anyways, there was a dog and it didn't die so this game is already 10/10 lol

I heard it got something called Punishment it got Low Kick too, so that's not too bad. I forget what other moves it has now.

Went to Dave & Buster's tonight for some arcade fun. One reason I went (outside of half price Wednesdays) was an arcade release of Injustice (I haven't played it or its sequel).

Turns out it's just a port of the mobile version of the first game. booooooooo

Currently I have 6,504 tickets on my card.

Well it looks like it's that time of year again.

I'm honestly quite surprised how much has been leaked (or so I presume. There might not be much that was spoiled, but based on the reactions in this thread, there's probably more).
I am very glad that spoilers are marked on this website.

And now to go back to hiding from USUM spoilers.
