So Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is now out.

Anyone tried it or seen reviews for it? All prerelease footage made the game looked like your run of the mill generic platformer to me.

They also gave Sonic 06 30/40 and Lost World a perfect score. They judge graphics, gameplay and music in seperate 10s iirc

They didn't give Lost World a perfect score, it was 36/40.

What they gave past games is irrelevant really since the individual reviewers will change overtime and be put on different games.

The point is, they had fun with it.

I saw about 4 minutes of a stream of the game and the guy was really enjoying himself, though it was only the tutorial that I saw.

My mistake, though I remember something having a perfect score.

True but Famitsu has an odd review system. If it was like ours, Lost World for example would have a 9/10

I was fighting a zombie dragon with insane number of hit points

Holy + Rain spellcraft + Echo + Chain spell

Instantly killed it

Holy + Rain Spellcraft hits 4 times, chain spell guarantees recasting the same spell again

Echo has a 25% chance each time it's cast to cast it again for free

Edit: Too bad I didn't have a Black Mage to do the same thing to the other dragons

Have a Yokai instead, which has more powerful spells but they cost more.

I now wonder if it's worth the extra cost

Also, completely unrelated but I'm at 156 Orbs in FEH. Turns out saving Orbs isn't as hard as I initially thought.
I'm really betting on a SS banner this month since it didn't get a TT yet and we still only have 7 units from it.
FE4 and PoR just got one so it'd be weord to have Thracia or RD right now. The rest are all games that were in day one(and all of them except Binding Blade got other banners already) or SoV which has probably gotten all of its banners for the next year.

Most trick-or-treaters around here go to this one particular street about a mile away where most of the houses go all out on decorations. It ends up being a haven of sorts for the families involved, and I'd imagine the police certainly don't mind 90% of the action being in one relatively easy to monitor location.

I'm not hoping the game is bad, and if my suspicion turns out to be unfounded I'll gladly say as much, I'm not infallible and I'm only working on what pre-release stuff I've witnessed... but I'm also not resting the entirety of my opinion of Famitsu's review. They're not exactly the most trusted of reviewers; oftentimes their scores are rather inconsistent with general sentiment. So, as I said, we'll see.
