- Radiant Dawn Ike and Awakening Owain aren't listed as a version of themselves are already in the game.
I still think we'll get banners for Radiant Dawn Ike and co. eventually. I imagine they'd make him slower and with a little less Res, in exchange for more Atk and Def. End result being not unlike Chrom (who himself is underrated, and deserves to get his chance by now), except with built-in Distant Counter.
- Characters with multiple versions on CYL were combined, adding in part why Finn scored so high.
That, and the fact that Finn is one of the most popular characters in the entire series in Japan. His scores in the Choose Your Legends poll were fairly evenly split between his three incarnations, too; if the actual poll had added all the variations' scores together, Finn would be well within the top 100 overall, instead of his 172nd place in the actual event.
No Forrest? But at least Sigurd, Mia, and one or two others make up somewhat for all the people with awful taste.
The most notable thing, honestly, is that Leif didn't crack the top twenty. This makes him the lowest scoring main lord among those not in the game.
Leif's not so bad, really. I like him. He's one of the few lords in the series who makes mistakes and actually suffers for them, unlike a lot of others for whom all their decisions and gambits go right. He might be interesting in Heroes, too; I assume he'd get his prf weapon, the Light Brand; maybe it can be a Distant Counter weapon, but the DC effect targets the enemy's Res instead of Def.
Or, more ideally, they'd add him in Master Knight form. Weapon triangle advantage against every weapon type in the game.
While we're on the topic of the CYL poll, I kind of want them to run a second one after we've had at least one banner for each game in the series. The Gaiden characters had basically no hope in the original poll, and then we have characters like Reinhardt, who in a few short months has gone from being that one boss in some 1999 SNES game that like 20 people had ever played (he got 137 votes), to being probably the most infamous character in the entire series (though at least among those of us who had played FE5 before Heroes, he's generally regarded as probably the toughest boss in the game). I'd like to see how those characters would poll now, when more people are more familiar with them.
