the baby metroid saves samus's life at one point in the fight and drains ridley at the end of each phase after the fact, which does help explain why samus is so ****** emotionaly after super metroid the thing saved her *** multiple times, the ridley bit is still dumb, but now her going on about the baby is slightly more justified

Even then, she knew they'd run experiments on it and likely have to kill it if deemed too dangerous(though we know they'd just clone it and make an army of Metroids).

But anyways, I just saw the video
Ridley wears armor and is now purple, guess that's his canon color now. He also looks a lot like Brawl Ridley now.
Also, one neat thing I noticed: he turns red after being defeated, which is how he looks in Super Metroid. I find this a neat retcon since now we have a canon appearence for him and an explanation for why he looks different in some ganes(though he really is only red in the SM official artwork)

Well, she was hired to kill the Metroid. I don't think the Federation would have liked that the one that they hired had the last Metroid with her as a pet, no matter if the Metroid was good or not they were still perceived as a danger for the galaxy in their eyes. So they had to ask Samus to give the Metroid to them for precaution and testing. Since Samus doesn't know that the federation was corrupted by this point and not wanting to become a traitor in their eyes. She had to give the Metroid and hope they wouldn't kill or keeping it for more experience. Or atleast, that's what I understand out of this mess.

Also, Ridley design basically confirm Prime is canon and explain why he was suddenly back to normal Ridley in SM. Plus, he had to get back the Metroid by himself just to get his revenge on Samus and piss her off, I love it.

Like, yeah, Prime doesn't affect the other games too much but they were all released before or during the Prime trilogy, so it'd be hard to write in references to it, with the only exception being Other M but we all know Sakamoto is full of bull****

Actually, there seem alot of peoples in the Metroid community that still think that Sakomoto retgone the Prime continuity, when he just said that he just didn't pay attention to the Primes game because he didn't work of them. But some peoples just assumed that he meant that Primes is suddenly not canon anymore!

So yeah, I say MSR finally made the point clear: The Prime Trilogy is canon, Sakomoto didn't **** up. (On that note, MSR is Sakmoto apology for Other M imo, in my eyes, I forgive him for what he did with Other M. Every artist, even the best of the best, can **** up really hard some time. But aslong as you understand your errors and then make something new and good by using the feedback that you gotten, it show that you really care about your fanbase and want to make them happy. Now, let's see if this is going to be a one hit wonder or if he is going to keep making good Metroid games)

Watched the movie... it was meh, gonna wait for the new anime

You mean the new live action one? I haven't seen it. Watch the animated film from the 90s, esp if you like the Matrix.

My most favorite anime movie hands down.

Yeah, it's really good.

Thanks to the creator slacking off... the anime has to be on hold/ end since it is catching up to the manga.

The 2011 anime has a concise ending of sorts, and works well as a stand alone.

S2 is even more better

S2 was pretty good too, but it also had lots of filler, and didn't have the same impact S1 had. S1 works decent as a stand alone, simply cause of how well packed it was, esp finishing off with that awesome All Might scene at the end. S2 was more of an extension of S1, and it's not as tightly structured. Overall, just read the manga, it's 10/10 so far.

The entire point of the Prime games was that they would not directly reference the maingames, and therefore have no continuity errors. Ironically, every continuity error in Metroid is contained to just the Prime games, or just the main games.

Honestly, the more complex Metroid's plot becomes, the more nonsensical it gets. Who actually cares about SR's plot? It's a remake of the least story based Metroid in existence

I'm respect your opinion but I'm not sure where you are going with this, first off, I already did catch up to the manga so S2 basically didn't have lots of filler, yet. Besides, I don't recall it "lots of" but rather just some. Most were just some scenes differ from the manga, so... they aren't really fillers if that's what you were talking about. The only filler episode so far was episode 19, which was a really good filler episode because Asui really needed some spotlight after the Stain arc.
And saying S2 is an extension of S1 is like... duh? They are just continuing the story after the USJ invasion. And my opinion is on the contrary, the story has being more and more well structured as the story progresses.

tl;dr things that didn't appear in the manga appeared in anime doesn't mean it's bad.

This also reminds me of Made In Abyss, the anime change quite lot of of scenes compare to the manga. Recent episode even added some part that weren't in the manga

Here is the first one with a few correction:

Oh yeah, time to write down the dialogue and make my own analysis and theories.

Analysis time,
Man, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 do feel like Game of Thrones huh?
Kingdom of Uraya : Possibly the protagonist kingdom that will help Rex and other crews.
Empire of Mor Ardain: likely the kingdom that will be the middle kingdom that will stop Rex going to Elysium but seems to stop a dude too for some reason.
Province of Gormott: Possibly a place that will have a huge story quest to complete.
Indoline of Praetorium: So... this is where Blades were born (Even Pyra?) This could be the place to understand more about the Blades and even really be a huge supply for getting Blade crystals.
Aregentum Trade Guild: The neutral where other nation having conflict and they get all the goodies... and their leader could possibly be that greedy nopon.
Torna: Definitely the main antagonist of the story, they seems to have captured Pyra for some reason. I also guess that they know she wants to go to Elysium.

So basically, just imagine Blades are kind of like talking Pokemons. There will be common ones and rare ones, so I won't be surprised if we see more Blades like Pyra and Hikari. And of course, Blades seems to come in all form, from Blade look no different like humans to furries to even just animals (Like Nia's Blade).

My guess is Pyra seems to be the legendary Blade, and yes, Pyra is the Monado in this story where a lot of people are trying to get her whereas some individuals know her potential threat and want to kill her.

Question remains:
How did Rex encounter Torna?
Why did Pyra believed Rex and let his become the driver of Aegis?
Why Pyra need to go to Elysium? What will happen if she goes there?
Just what the hell is Torna up to? What are their goals?
Why nations are starting war to each other?
JUST WHAT THE BIONIS IS ELYSIUM?
Are Blades being treated as normal species are really just like Pokemons where most people respect and have bond with other people whereas some just regard Blades merely as weapons?
Why Nia and a dude decided to team up with Rex?I know she is a kid cat girl but why didn't she try to get Pyra like rest of people?
How many kinds of people are there? Is Rex a Homs? What kind of specie Nia is?
