Is it bad that I might use the Wii Classic Controller Pro over the SNES controller when I get the SNES Classic Edition?

And thankfully I got a Wii Remote extension cord to use for said controller's short cord (I bought the extension cord last year when I thought I was actually going to get the NES Classic Edition).

Wait, what? You can connect the Joy-cons to your computer? If so, how exactly?

Joy-cons and Pro Controller are both compatible with PCs....you need a Bluetooth adapter for both....

So I beat Persona 4 finally, even to the true ending. Man what a ride this has been.

This will be a long one.
Ok, this game is absolutely amazing. It has some problems, but what it does right is so great that it doesn't matter.

Im going to go over the Cons real quick because there aren't many

1. The game has insta-kills. This isn't inherently a problem because reviving is really easy. The problem, is that if the main character gets downed, its an instant game over. You cant use a revive on him, even if the whole party is alive. It really sucks when you spend about half an hour dungeon crawling, only to get insta killed by an enemy with no way of knowing it would happen and no way to know. Even worse, bosses have this. INCLUDING THE FINAL BOSS. Lost to them an hour into the fight.

2. Sometimes the game is super obtuse. For the good endings, you need to do some oddly specific stuff, and for the investigations, sometimes people will only show up at certain ties and there is a lot of awkward stuff.

3.The difficulty scaling is really awkward. The first boss is rough as you are still learning the game, the second one is terrible in every way*, the third is super easy, the 4th is extremely hard, the fifth is easy again, but fair, and then after that is the boses that give you the different endings, so they are all final bosses. First final boss is a bit gimmicky, but ot that bad if you dont get screwed by weakness, with the last 2 bosses being really great other than the insta kill move on the final final boss.

*Ok, so shadow Kanji is the absolute worst. He has 2 mooks with him that have a lot of HP. One NEEDS to be beat to win because he can heal and give an ABSURD amount of stats to Shadow Kanji, and the other will do a lot of damage, and is nearly invulnerable. Kanji himself has some crazy AOE debuffs, and does lot's of damage and a lot of HP. And that is BEFORE healing and buffs are taken into account. It's a downright painful fight, especially for one so early.

Ok, that is it.

Now onto the positives

The music. It's great, and even though you hear this music for so long, it never gets tiring and always fits the area. The final dungeon music is particularly great, and the Void Quest song will be stuck in my head forever.

This game has such a cozy location, and such an amazing cast of characters that it was impossible for me not to fall in love with Inaba. It's pretty small, and the floodplain always felt underused, but what time you do spend in Inaba is great.

The actual random encounter balance is great. I never had a problem where the enemies ere suddenly too powerful, or suddenly too weak, beyond the first floor or two which are meant to ease you into the dungeon, or let the player get back into decent levels if they were previously underlevelled. And the dungeons themselves are all great, and the gimmicks they do have arent too much of a problem. Money is balanced well too. For the first half of the game you really have to balance your money to get the most out of it, and it makes buying what you want is really satisfying.

The story is pretty great too. It has some weird bits that are contrived, but everything is interesting and fun. Stuff like the Midnight channel or who the murderer is is always fun to speculate about, and there are always just enough loose ends to get you to wonder "wait what?" but never too many that nothing makes sense unless you are supposed to.

Most importantly, is the characters. Oh my god the characters. They do so much great stuff with the characters in this game that i could never explain it well enough. In social links, you spend one on ne time with them, and they grow as people and the stories that are told are wonderful and heartwarming/heartwrenching. And for the mandatory parts for when you arent on a case hanging out with the whole group together? Spectacular. I laughed so hard at so many scenes. It was wonderful. It also really helps the pacing break up from "sad depression" to "happy moments yay." And the voice acting is great too. Having voice acting makes a lot of the scenes way more powerful. Yosuke (vocied by Yuri Lowenthal) actually scared me once or twice with his emotion.

Seriously, the pacing of happy and overwhelmingly depressing is really great somehow.

Im out of stuff actually. I have so much love for this game but can't get it into words. Definitely in my top 10 games of all time. I don't want to leave Inaba. .. but I guess im on to my next game.

I finally got around to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 tonight.

While I liked the first movie a little more, I still really enjoyed this sequel.

So...................Camilla beat Lyn in the Voting Gauntlet in FEHeroes. She won because Lyn got too far ahead and she got the bonus multiplier......I'm pretty sure you want to avoid all Fire Emblem forums for a while.

Edit: To be more specific, Camilla got the "Falling behind" multiplier that was added in the second or third Gauntlet. Basically, if a character is really falling behind on the points, they get a bonus multiplier that increases the amount of points their team gets to allow them to catch up to the winning side.
Apparently, Lyn got too far ahead near the end of the time limit and Camilla got a 7.3 Bonus multiplier to catch up with her.....Camilla pretty much steamrolled by her. Camilla won because she got the bonus Multiplier just in time.

Oh my God, if she ends up beating whoever won between Hector and Ike, the salt will be immense.

Camilla is going up against Ike. And yes, there are already salty Lyn fans who are planning on joining Ike.
Didnt Camilla win a previous voters thing?
She did indeed. In fact, apparently she was the reason why the Bonus Multiplier was made, cause she steamrolled the Fliers Gauntlet.

Oh my God, Grant Kirkhope is at the top of his ****ing game in Mario + Rabbids. Like, damn, this is a great soundtrack. You can definitely tell he has some serious love for it.

Haven't made it very far but favorites from the first world.
An obvious old but with a great Kirkhope spin.
The Mid-boss theme is so frantic. It perfectly complements the battles. Fantastic.
And in turn the Secret Boss is a remix of it fittingly.
And then there's the Majesty that is Rabbid Kong. A fitting remix of one of Grant Kirkhope's finest soundtracks. Say what you will about DK64 but you can't tell me that the soundtrack wasn't great.
I'm really enjoying the game so far. Expectedly though, my least favorite part is that there is just way to damn few characters. Especially considering 4 of them are Rabbid versions of the other 4.

Honestly, though, the soundtrack itself sold me on the whole game. Not to mention it has some undeniable charm. Even with those constantly yelling little ****ers.

Someone explain me the Bonus Muliplier thing, Im curious :V
After Camilla won the Flier Gauntlet where she steamrolled Hinoka, Cordelia and Minerva, they made a Bonus Multiplier to allow less popular characters to have a chance against more popular characters. So in other words, it was something made to counteract Camilla's high popularity, so it's ironic that this ended up helping her to beat Lyn.
Lyn wasn't the only one who lost because of this. Apparently, during the Summer Gauntlet, this was how Gaius beat Leo. This image sums things up.

Camilla already won one gauntlet.

I'm not gonna let my Free Brave Hero's victory get robbed by the same character a second time.
Let's go Ike squad.:4myfriends:

Meanwhile, Hector and Ike fought in a very close battle, but in the end, Ike managed to prevail.

I was on Team Hector, but I gotta say, it was fun while it lasted.

Well, Ike, let's see how your battle with Camilla will turn out!

I know Joy Cons work too but I was talking about the Pro sorry...

There was one occasion that my Switch Pro gets desync and sync when I want to play Mario Kart... after I tried to link to my laptop...so I turned my Switch off and it went normal again.

Oh yeah, today at Walmart there was also one thing interesting happened to me. After I bought all the stuff I need/ want, when I crossed the sensor and it flashes red light and has jingle (Rather than alarm beeps that will make most people panic or felt unease.) So of course I have to go back and let one of the worker check my receipt and the stuffs I bought. Turns out it was of course one of the products I bought didn't get demagnetized. The worker also says that he often put that bar in his friend's pocket so he can prank them... so it the sensor will still jingle but I can just "get away with it". After all, I already showed the receipt proving that I did bought that stuff and not stealing it.

So another fire Emblem poll is going on? And Camilla is stealing the show? Might have to exclude her if she manages to beats out the lords :dazwa:.

Either way my activity levels have been waning to The forum games again because of laziness

So from what I've seen, basically all of Team Hector, Roy, Chrom, Lyn, and Lucina is joining Team Ike now. Solidarity. :p

Come on, Ike. You fought for your friends, and now your friends are fighting for you.

I have been trying to get Hector again these past few days since he FINALLY appeared in another banner to give me a second chance. For the first time in a very long while, I've been spending some money a few times just to add some orbs to bring up the total to twenty orbs. From there, I tried to go for all the green orbs, but no matter what, I still didn't pull Hector.

Just now, I decided to go for another summoning in Fire Emblem Heroes after accumulating enough orbs. I noticed a single green orb on the bottom left. I immediately go for it...

I FINALLY PULLED HECTOR!!!!!!

Me right now:

I've been wanting to pull Hector ever since I finally pulled Takumi and Azura back in the beginning of May, where I eventually learned Hector makes a great teammate for Takumi. And now, here he is! It took me THREE MONTHS to finally pull Hector.

Hector may have lost Round 2 of the current Gauntlet, but it looks like he has arrived to join me in the final battle against Camilla! My Hector's stats are 24 HP, 25 Atk, 6 Spd, 11 Def, and 4 Res. Seems like he's +Spd -Atk, which isn't the ideal IVs for him, but I'm still using him anyway. I mean, this is probably the only time I'll ever be lucky enough to pull Hector like this!

Here are the other characters I pulled in that summoning for those that are curious.

And yet another Marth to feed to my 5-star 40+ Marth for more SP.

Anyways, welcome to the team, Hector! I'm yet to play Blazing Sword, but I can already tell what a lovable guy you are just from listening to your dialogue in Heroes (bonus points for being voiced by Patrick Seitz!)

The whole Camilla/Lyn thing kinda proves what I said months ago.

The multiplier bonus only really helps out the popular character in the end.

Na Xenoblade Chronicles 2 website is up.
Interesting is that the web site's page icon is actually Pyra.
So Alrest is the setting's name. Wonder if that retroactively applies to XC1 as well?

I suppose that depends on if this game is truly connected to it somehow, or is merely a spiritual successor like Final Fantasy sequels are.

My entire internet just borked completely; pages slowed down, TV Youtube started to go backwards, unusual flashy lights on the router and I met the Google dinosaur again.

What caused this?: I tried to see a photo of FalKoopa on his Twitter.

Yeah, it should work with the Pro Controller as well since it's Bluetooth. I believe there is a red button on the Pro Controller that you press in order for your computer to pick up it's signal
