The "Quick Hero Battle" mini-game for FE Heroes just went up. It's pretty simple, just pick the character with the weapon triangle advantage against the given enemy (for this game, colourless beats colourless, it seems). If you get a high score, you get a wallpaper, and if you get a high enough score across the duration of the event, you can get orbs and stuff in Heroes.

Technically you can only play it twice a day, and if you want to play more, you have to post to Twitter about the game. But all you have to do to get around it is click the "tweet" button, and then close the tab. It doesn't actually check if the tweet was posted.

Also, it's only playable on mobile. There's probably some way around it, but since you have to react quickly, I can't imagine using a mouse would give you an advantage anyway.

I poked about in this in Inspect Element for a bit, and found something interesting...

Looks like the Black Knight and Nephenee were hiding away in there... At least the Black Knight has Alondite, so no Berkut's Lance+ nonsense again, thankfully. Nephenee looks like she has a Slaying Lance, completing the set of Slaying weapons. Just like with the Golden Week omikuji, it looks like they're using this to tease some upcoming new heroes.

Next question is, does this mean we're getting a Tellius banner soon? Or Tempest Trials? Or both? Right after the Choose Your Legends event, too; I'll be lucky to have any orbs left over to pull for these guys...

An remake like this really defeats the purpose of the original, and I can't see it pulling it off as well.

The point of Lord of the Flies is gender neutral really.

At it's core, its people rising to power through fear, tribalism and hierarchy.

Women fall victim to that just as much as men, so I think it can work.

I don't think Twitter will see it that way though.

I understand that a lot of people view it as a look into toxic masculinity but to those people I say what if the adaptation explored female dynamics and how bloody (and different) they can get?

I think it's interesting. Unlike Fembusters where they switched things for almost no narrative reason, I think the idea has potential.

I caught up to Digimon tri.

It's not too bad, but it does do a lot of things your stereotypical fanfic does, for better or worse. The pacing feels awful though and the treatment of 02 is rather questionable since we're 4 movies in and we still have no idea what the hell even happened to the kids and the main cast is pretty aloof about the fact that Ken seemingly went back to being Kaiser (with only Takeru and Hikari offering any sort of comment about it).

And then there's Yggdrasil being the big bad again, because we haven't beaten that plot point to death.

Overall I'm not a fan of the slow burn build up but at least that means the final two movies should be pretty meaty.

That's pretty much my thoughts on Tri as well, it's a decent OVA series, but it way too slow in its pacing and a lot of the questions and plot points that have been bouncing around for the past few movies have either just started to be addressed or aren't addressed at all yet. I also feel some of the newer elements have been poorly utilized such as Meiko and Meicoomon, who feel more like plot devices then actual characters and haven't really been brought into the group dynamic all that well.

With that said, I am also still looking forward to the fifth one since the fourth did imply they'll start kicking things into high gear. I'm hoping the answers it gives will be worth the wait.

That's interesting, I was thinking they'd do another SS banner and GHB like what they did with SoV, but I guess they want to move on from that game. In that case, I'm guessing we'll get a banner at the end of September with Nephenee, Elincia, Mia, and one other character (Jill?) with BK as the GHB. If we're lucky they could use it as way to get a Laguz unit in to test out the mechanic, but I think they'll save that for another time.

Honestly, I can't think of anything out of the top of my head that would change the narrative but I guess some movies with a mojority of one gender would become quite different the other way around.
Like Star Wars with nothing but women except whoever would be in Princess Leia's place.

Hang on to one of the levers that change the water level, and input the Sonic 3 & Knuckles level select code (it is Left Left Left Up Up Up Right Right Right). When you do it successfully, you will hear a Ring chime. Now continue playing.

Whenever you use one of the boosters in the Zone (the ones where a hand pops up to hold Sonic in place), it plays the vgdunkey scream.
