I mean that's exactly how I play. I tend to go to the more backwater areas of the stage first since nobody else does, then I sneak around to where all the enemies are at.

Basically, secure the outer areas while everyone is focusing on the middle, than start setting yourself up to aid your teammates in maintaining the middle.

It took me a while to found out how to roll when using Splat Dualies. Right now I obviously got more losing streak rather than win streak.
