Hi, yes. I'm back and I'd just like to say that Alolan Meowth is my gay cousin spirit animal.

That awkward moment when you realize you didn't put a Smash game in your list.

And yet, you can't figure out which game to replace.

I got the animal wrong. That wasn't meant as an insult. I'm from America, "cow" doesn't have that context here. So that was just a misunderstanding.

Though after all these "holier than thou" comments, I'm starting to feel insulted.

It wasn't just me who thought you had the attitude problem man. It was several users. And no, it doesn't mean we're out to get you or people with different opinions. Things like "undeniable fact" when they honestly weren't come off as horribly arrogant and we were letting you know.

Dude if we didn't care, we wouldn't say those things. We wouldn't respect you enough to actually say those things.
In that case, don't use phrases you aren't sure of in the future.

And I'm not insulting you, I am criticising you. Pointing something out without a metaphor that might distract from my point.

And I'm aware a select few here think I have an attitude problem, and I know exactly why, and I have valid reason to believe their thoughts are unfounded/come more from personal bias than legitimate observation. But I don't care enough to get into that. I am more aware of my faults than any of you could be.

You never once disputed any of the things I stated as facts in a sufficient manner. You haven't proven them not to be facts. You simply said you disagreed because you didn't like the sound of it, simply said "they aren't facts" but made no elaboration, or provided me with an anecdote. I know it sounds "bad" to say something isn't creative because it's like other things, especially in the same franchise. But yeah, the more something is based off a previous work, the less creative it is. That's actually an undeniable fact. I simply stated that, and I did not give my stance on whether or not I feel something needs to be creative for me to like it (until later, where I said it DOESN'T need to be creative for me to like it).

Pokémon also is more about merchandise now than it was when it started. That is a fact. It's irrelevant that there is more merchandise now than in the past. But the main defining factor is that the Pokémon are less fleshed out than before in more ways than one (in most, but not all, cases), and that the games are also being packaged and released with toys now (which I don't recall happening in the original releases of Pokémon Gen 1 or even 2 and 3). I again, did not say whether or not this was a bad thing, and even specifically pointed out how I am a bit of a sucker for merchandise myself, having just spent over £100 on Sonic merchandise this past weekend. Though I did say I personally would be a bit more into the series if it wasn't that way, it's fine if it isn't, and it isn't the main reason I have a lack of interest in the main series anyway.

All I've done in those last two paragraphs is recap what I said before, in the same tone.

With that, I'm done with this. Bye, and have a good day or night depending on your timezone.

Now THAT was a childhood gem. I would love to see Sonic Team make more original IPs.

Who knows? :3
Welp, I guess I'll join along. In no particular order with reasons why:

-Super Mario Galaxy 2 (The sequel to the game was just as great as the first, but expanded).

-Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (Loved the original back then as well, don't get me wrong).

-Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (God that game was amazing; one of the best Gamecube games).

-Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (Great game that mostly had some great introductions like Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Cloud). :p

-Kirby Planet Robobot (My god, this game was just incredible. I've played a lot of Kirby games, but this one was just at the top for me).

-Warframe (despite the fact I've been playing it less lately, it's always been a game I tend to come back to for at least one reason or another).

-World of Warcraft (I loved this game back in at least the WOTLK days when I started playing. I continued to play it, took a break, and then came back around WOD and quit again. I am not sure if I will ever return to it, but it's on this list for the nostalgia of it all).

The thing with doing "Top (Insert Number) Games" is that i'm bound to forget a lot of titles in the list becasue they're in the back of my mind. Nevertheless i'm going to post 7 games that I really enjoyed and loved playing.

- Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Final Fantasy X
- Golden Sun/Golden Sun TLA
- Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising
- Pokemon Crystal
- Donkey Kong Country 2

I can't pick 7 games.

I refuse to pick.

There's too many potential candidates.
At the end of the day that combined with my lack of organizational skills is about why I can't list properly.

All I can say with certainty is that Sonic 2 and Pokemon Diamond have a definite nostalgia value for me.

But then what? What if I'm not properly remembering games I haven't played in a while? Do I incorporate games according to the amount of hype during prerelease? The insane times of the multiplayer? The joy of the single player? The sheer amount of hours pumped in? What if I never beat a game and still loved it? What about sandbox games that are best enjoyed when you need a timewaster but may not be good for every mood?

I know I've got more than seven games I'd recommend to other people without context. Anything that counts for that has to be either one of my favorites or at least a decent enough timewaster that I got my money's worth out of it.

Guess I could be a part of this as well.

1. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
2. Super Mario 64
3. MGS3: Snake Eater
4. Mega Man Legends
5. Smash 4
6. Rayman 2
7. Sonic Adventure 2

Tbh, trying to narrow it down is really hard. Have way too many games I love (and games I'm looking forward to) to include here.

It is so hard to narrow it down to 7 games when I have about a hundred or maybe two hundred games from NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Game Boy, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, Genesis, TurboGrafx-16, Neo Geo, PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4.

What am I looking at here?
There's a sticker put over the original rating and multiplayer sign.

Wonder what they removed to bring it down to 7+

Oh.

I thought they'd already said NMS was gonna be just Single Player all this time, or at least meant to be played alone.

So.
Gone up through Gym 2 in Pokemon Uranium today.
And...
Two particular things feel off.
1) How underleveled I feel despite fighting every trainer... something that I don't really think felt like the case this early on in games prior. And I did spend a lil' bit grinding wilds.
2) HOLY CRAP THE CRITS. I'VE HAD A TRAINER CRIT SEVEN TIMES IN ONE BATTLE. THEY HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY RAMPANT ACROSS MY TIME SO FAR.

Edit: To note my team: Water Starter, Cubblfly, Dunsparce, Mankey, and 2 sacrificial lambs.

Also.
My favorite moment in Uranium so far.
Second gym.
Using Cuddlfly as a mixed wall because of fairly good defenses, charm, and struggle bug, which is also its strongest attack.
Fighting off their first pokemon, mono-ground type.
"Gym Leader withdrew their pokemon!"
"Gym Leader sent out Modrille!"
>Struggle bug is super effective, 50% of hp gone.
OK THEN GOOD AI PLANNING THERE.
