On the contrary, a lot of people care lol.
Personally I don't care about Pokemon news because i'm not interested in S&M until I actually play the game. Just really want that sweet reveal of the N of the X baybay!

Skyward sword is such a good game for a lot of little things it did.
It's a shame it has three things people hate too much.
1: "Sky is empty." True, but you're in it for only a few minutes at a time; as opposed to like 5 minutes to cross TP's hyrule field. All othre enviroments are so admn alive.
2: "Revisit areas a ton." But each time it's a larger spread of the area, sometimes with different "area tropes" in them. It rarely felt like backtracking. Akin to Federation Force's three planets.
3: "Muh motion controls." Finnicky at times but it felt so much better and it actually put some depth into combat besides "Mash slash" or "wait for QTE prompt."

It takes about 30 minutes for the main part. But you can keep playing after like the ORAS demo.

What Pokémon have you caught?
Pikkipek and Yungoos. You can't keep them though. You can use them to catch more pokemon but once you go to leave the area, you release them.

Interesting. I wonder if it's to allow Greninja to get the best out of Water Shuriken, since Greninja's Special Attack is higher.

Ash-Greninja base stats? They're good
Will be a bit less powerful than Protean Greninja though I guess. Unless you can use Life Orb on a Battle Bond Greninja

It can hold an item and Water Shuriken is now special, and gets +10 bp for each hit once transformed.
It's pretty damn great.
Deoxys-speed is 180 base speed, attack and normal at 150.
Ninjask is 160.
Accelgor and Electrode are the only other non-megas that outspeed it. 145 and 140 respectively.
And the only megas that outspeed it are Alakazam and Aerodactyl at 150, Beeedrill and Sceptile at 145, and Mewtwo Y at 140.
Two Megas speed tie, Lopunny and Manectric.
145 special attack is equal to mixed megas, and tied with CHANDELURE.
edit: oh it's physical attack is 145, special is 153.
That's even better.
145 physical attack is equal t Mega Salamance, Mega Metagross, and Mega Lucaario.
CHRIST.
It actually getitng to hold an item as well makes it a lot more potent than its attacking stats which are already potent.

So, doing some digging on our mystery creature...

The arms and spines have a slight resemblance to the Crown of Thorns Starfish...it also has a small crown like protrusion on the top if it's head...It definitely looks like something you don't want to step on...Perhaps (of course assuming it's Pyukumuku's evo) this crown thorn could be where it attacks with it's gut fist?

But alternatively it appears to have a base that's simialr to that of Sea Anenomes, minus it's face of course...

Can't quite pinpoint a precise species it's based off of, since there's so many...
If it is either of these it's likely it could end up being Water/Poison...On one hand I can see this being Pyukumuku's evolution but I also think it's possible it's part of a separate line altogether...we actually don't have a lot of Water types revealed, especially considering Sun and Moon's taking place on an island region, I'd think they'd introduce a bunch of new Water types exclusive to Alolan waters...Hoenn I believe had the most water types introduced and it was the region that had the most water before now...

The demo has some funny lines.
Currently just exploring what few areas there are. There is something I have to wait until tomorrow to get.
