Still no worse than any of Cartoon Fight Clubs one sided fights.

Rayman vs. Mario? The victor is too obvious that it hurts.

Freddy Fazbear vs Sans? Stupidest match-up in history.

Well, with two thirds of the respondents picking Sun and Moon, I'd say we have a clear poll winner! :D

Another poll will come shortly, dealing with Sun and Moon.

ALL of the god damned Dragon Ball Z related fights period.

Luffy vs Buu? One sided

Hulk vs Broly? Not even a fair match

Kid Goku vs Naruto? Hahahahaha...no!

Goku vs Sonic? Game Sonic is never good against any of them.

Naruto vs Adult Goku? This ought to teach the fanboys a lesson that Moon Buster Naruto is nowhere near Goku's level.

The dumbest match-ups are probably the ones where neither side can attack. A match between two Wobbuffets will not get anywhere until one of them starts to Struggle.

He still ended up getting killed by another enemy but I can just buy him back and he won't be too far behind

His claim to fame is destroyng A moon?
Early Z Piccolo does this without much strain.

And normal untrained Goku rivaled that.

But that has nothing to do with this discussion as it was about random weebs on the internet who pit fictional characters against each other for teh lulz and a 'What if?' scenario, and 2 Wobba's CAN fight each other

I want to believe too!

Notice that "Kalimari" is really "calamari" and that word means "squid".

With that said, I would like Splatoon x Mario Kart 8 pack with Inkling (Orange Girl / Blue Boy / Green Girl / Purple Boy), Callie, and Marie as playable characters.
Now that you remind me, another one of Nintendo's Twitter posted a similar tweet with the same image.

Hell, even Roshi destroyed a moon at one point in his life.

But too bad people call it an outlier since it's supposedly inconsistent with his strength.

This would be the point where I go on about how BS the Rosalina VS Silver Cartoon Fight Club was, but I've already done that before.

All I will say is that anyone who thinks Silver is a time lord hasn't played any of the games he is in.

I'm just saying that as dumb as those match-ups may be, it would be more dumb if neither side can do a thing.

In terms of Wobbuffet, since it can only learn Counter, Mirror Coat, Safeguard, and Destiny Bond, a battle between two Wobbuffets will not go anywhere until one of them starts to use Struggle.

Google Translate gave "It's worth the wait"

Translations between European languages are reliable enough, so that's probably what it actually means.

You DO realize that A: Koopa VS Goombah happened alongside Justin Bieber VS Rebecca Black, right? an B: It's irrelevant, as the Wobbuffet is something you can do and prove, whereas the other is research/bias to conclude who would win IF the 2 characters would ever fight to the death

I don't know, everyone has a strange definition of what an outlier is. Many datebooks clearly supports the idea of Roshi being a moon buster yet VS Battles Wiki think it's too inconsistent to be a real feat.

Yet they gladly accept Kirby tanking a "solar system busting" attack from Dark Nebula which is the clear definition of an outlier. Kirby is planet level at best and even he is way out of Magolor's league, who is a galaxy level reality warper.

Ugh, don't even remind me of that scene. Because legit background changes automatically means solar system busting.

Even Cell is a legit solar system buster and many sources confirmed it.

Speaking of Dragonball.

I never really said what my less-than-obvious wants for XV2 as one of the most casual kind of fans for the series there can be.

  1. Cosmetic Slot for clothing
  2. Sword moveset capable for customizable characters, not just for Future Trunks. Hell, possibly make it something exclusive to Earthlings to give them something which makes them more than just "the default."
  3. Rebalancing to Super Saiyan transformations (no ultimate usage, greater drain to chi when USING super moves).
  4. SS4 as a very strike-focused transformation, SSB for a very chi-focused transformation
  5. Namekians get a transformation. While Great Namekian transformations, with different ranks allowing you to gain to greater sizes, seems.... an improbability, even something as simple as like a heavier bulk to what's meant to be the tanking race with like grown bioarmor (which I swear was a thing at some point).
  6. Freizans get a transformation. Even as much as a late-game unlocked Golden which takes place as an Ultimate but gives a very potent buff of stats seems like something that should get included.
  7. Evil. Majin. Transformation.
  8. Transformations having a greater effect on your characters than just a colored aura.
  9. Customizable character Aura.
  10. One more major race for creation.... and I can't tell if it'd be good to give the Androids as something because it's... hard to think of how to specify them from humans aesthetically (though Saiyans kinda have this issue). I think what we may see is... Demons. With Mira and Towa being a means to open that door back open for mythos, it'd certainly be an interesting idea.

I.... Am back. And apparently, I was gone so long that this thread is near 60 pages in and I missed the closing of the last one. Did I ever mention that I was slow?.... Really though, it was mostly do to some huge drama I haven't had in quite awhile. And that's saying a lot.

I also see that the disease of Fire Emblem has spread. :p So I mine as well bring up that I've played a lot of it while I was gone.

I've played quite a few games, Sacred Stones, Blazing Sword, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn.

But most notiblably some hacks. Immortal Sword is by far the most accessable, it's less of a hack and more so an app. It has its own engine and its basically the GBA games with features from the modern games such as abilities and even casual mode.(Though it's different, you just get three lives for each character and a world map so you can consistently go to shops and grind.) Though then there's Standard mode, which is the same thing but permadeath. But I played classic mode anyway since I've gotten so used to it and I love the challenge now.

That game is a prequel to FE7. However, the one I really found quite satyfying is Elibian Nights, which takes place between FE7 and FE6. It's not like your usual FE game, instead, you choose from tales.... And most of them are HARD. There's three easy ones I can think of, Lyn's, Hector's(Because great units and ally back up.), and Zephiel's.(Again, strong units.) It's a great game for any FE fan looking for a challenge.

And some quests are just pretty fun, like Karek's tale based off events he spoke of in FE6.

More Pokemon food for thought.
"As of Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, there are 46 species of Pokémon that are capable of Mega Evolution, and there are 48 different Mega Evolutions." - Bulbapedia.

46, out of 721 Pokemon are capable of Mega Evos. (Meg Evos also bring the total to 769 if you want to think of them as their own mons).
That percentage is ~6.4% of Pokemon.
Now, let's look at if we look at the number if we remove all the Prevos, how many last/sole stage Pokemon can Mega Evo so far.

To make part of this simple. "Counting Legendary and Mythical Pokémon, 15.81% of all Pokémon are not part of an evolutionary line." - Bulbapedia. 721 x 15.81% = 113.9901, so presumably it's 114 that are Pokemon with no evolutions or Prevos, not counting Megas.

114 plus the number of final-stage evos....

Kanto-centered: 77
Johto-centered: 33
Hoenn-centered: 50
Sinnoh-centered: 27
Unova-centered: 55
Kalos-centered: 26, only 1 less than Sinnoh despite the addition disparity.

For a total of... 268 final stage evos, and grand total of 382

382 possible Pokemon for Mega Evos as of Gen 6.

46 of the 382? Up to effectively 12%. A bit less than an eighth.

Edit: And, if I didn't count wrong, that means 47% of Pokemon are prevos of other Pokemon.

Here are the Stage 2 evolutions of the Russian region me and my brother were working on.

Moomech:
Type: Fire/Steel
Hidden Ability: Rock Head
Stats: High Attack and Speed, don't know exact stats
Description: You know those mechanical bulls in the carnival, now imagine it runs on coal. Smoke comes out of it's "earholes" and it's nose ring thingy is on fire. We wanted Fire to be the main type so we made a visual damage thing, like Lil' Mac. When it gets damaged, some of the metal peels off and reveals a huge bonfire inside of Moomech.
Notable Moves: Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Iron Head

Maelstromuma:
Type: Water/Fairy (Steel is now normal effective against Water)
Hidden Ability: Water Absorb
Stats: High Special Defense and Special Attack, don't know exact stats
Description: ???
Notable Moves: Moonblast, Recover, Thunder Wave, Hydro Pump

Trunklops:
Type: Grass/Fighting
Hidden Ability: Regenerator
Stats: High Attack and Special Attack, don't know exact stats
Description: Well, he's a tree trunk with legs and arms that resemble big, thick roots. He has a massive eye in the cent of the trunk with a "wreath" of leaves surrounding the bulging eye. Moss and sticks cover the body like a blanket, a very uncomfortable one. The root arms have sharp sticks at the end, used for scratching and slashing.
Notable Moves: U-Turn, Energy Ball, Leaf Blade, Aura Sphere

There it is! The Stage 2 starters! Their pretty rough, but we'll work on em'.

So with the second day of E3 for Nintendo being dedicated to upcoming Wii U/3DS titles, is it only games we already know about? I'd assume so because the lack of a Digital Event is a big indicator that Nintendo has nothing new to show and that their having a broadcast to only show off what they already announced. Pretty deflating if you ask me.

Everything is filler til' the NX reveal I guess.

Man single-handedly kills thousands at the Great Wall of China with a fried sword, too fast for the naked eye

Seriously though, Lunatic thought it was fun to put Basaras on top of the eastern stairs so I just had Xander drink some tonics, rallied, sang and sent him to kill things, he was able to aggro the Basaras and kill them on retaliation
I then just sent everyone east to get up and after that it was just cleaning up what Xander didn't kill
Though I did have some close calls such as Kaze and Azura getting in range of some enemies and Corrin almost dying(thank god those enemies were on Guard Stance)

Xander also killed the enemies near Takumi and now I have to be very careful unless I want Takumi to trigger Rend Heaven and make all my work pointless

Just TMS, Monster Hunter, and Dragon Quest will be on the second day. Kind of disappointing, but they are using this opportunity to push these games before they release soon.

I'm just wondering when we will get a new Direct since it's been more than a month.

This discussion of pokemon reminds me of something I've been thinking recently, something I'd love to see in a starter triangle eventually is Fighting, Flying, and Rock. Which is a type triangle a lot of people don't catch on to, at least from what I've seen. Along with a few other triangles that work more like Fire/Grass/Water. Though Fighting/Dark/Psychic is a popular one despite it not being quite the same do to Dark being immune to Psychic.

Pretty sure they said upcoming Wii U/3DS games including the games you mentioned meaning were going to see others like Color Splash and Federation Force. Also think this is where we're going to hear about Codename N-Stars.

A few months ago I figured the reason for not having a Direct was because Nintendo was building up to a huge E3 but I couldn't been more wrong with that. Methinks Nintendo really has nothing left to show with the Wii U and not having any 3DS games to show off for next year hence why their only focusing on upcoming titles before doing the NX reveal in the Fall or something.

Yeah, it's strange how Fighting/Dark/Psychic is the most popular alternative when it wouldn't really work.

If the criteria is that the type must hit one type with double damage and other with half damage, only four triangles would work:
- Grass/Fire/Water (obviously)
- Fighting/Flying/Ground (which you mentioned)
- Rock/Steel/Fire
- Poison/Ground/Grass

Something tells me that Nintendo tweet put #MK8 when they actually meant #MK64.

I don't see anymore DLC happening for Mario Kart 8. The DLC we got pretty much increased the game's content count by ~50%.

But they thankfully edited it after they realized what the "W word" meant.

Theories suggest is because Dark type represents 'evil'...not to mention a lot of dark type attacks are basically built around naughty behaviour 'Theif' 'Knock off' 'sucker punch' etc...gym leaders are supposed to be representatives for their respective cities hench a typing that promotes 'evil doings' is generally viewed as a less than ideal representative...
They're still shown as e4 members because those are just generally strong trainers...and not trainers meant to set an example within their community...

I see where that's coming from. But even then, ghost type isn't exactly the nicest type around either. And not all towns have the same beliefs and ideals especially across different regions. Just like how there's so many ghost towns, I can easily imagine a town centered around Dark types.

Besides, I who doesn't love weird people? :p
