Actually, according to the leak hinter, Pyukumuku is the Rock-Paper-Scissor Pokémon he was talking about. It can throw up its innards to make a fist (rock) or a flat hand (paper), and presumably it can also do the same with scissors by doing a peace sign.

So it's not multiple Pokémon like that leak says, it's all in one (unless they meant the line in full).

The leaker himself said as such, at least as told by the poster who initially gave us the information. So it was just one Pokémon based on the image hint, not three unless its evolutions are supposed to count towards that.

With that said, I could believe Rockruff's evolutions being influenced by the starters as it makes sense with its supposed ties to them, my only issue with that is the quote doesn't imply that the secret is exclusively tied to Rockruff only* and they have their own secrets. I guess it could just be interpretation though, so I may be wrong in that assessment.

A rumor to potentially consider

This leak looks believable. I'm going to break this down one step at a time and give my thoughts.

I wouldn't be surprised that Drampa has a pre-evolution considering that it already looks like a final stage. Bruxish and Mimikyu being basic stage only is a bit saddening since I was hoping with evolutions for both of them, but hopefully, they'll have some great stats to make up for it.

The Rockruff idea is something that I really like. Some leaks we've received in the past suggested the starters and Rockruff will have multiple evolutions, but I was a bit skeptical about that. This one seems to make much more sense regarding the "secret evolution." I only wonder how will this actually work since it's possible to have multiple starter Pokemon in one game through trading. Could it be based on the starter that you picked, or a starter in your party? I'm going to guess the former.

The shovel-mon made me think of the recent Sand Castle Pokemon right away because it has a shovel on its head, but now I'm starting to think this really is a separate shovel-mon. If it turns out to be real, I'm curious to see the relationship with those Sand Castle Pokemon.

Wimpod being the Gyarados/Milotic is rather surprising for me because Wimpod isn't an ordinary fish like Magikarp and Feebas are, but it's still a neat idea since Wimpod has something that makes it unappealing similar to the other two. Perhaps Wimpod's evolution will be the most confident Pokemon around similar to how strong Gyarados becomes or how beautiful Milotic is.

Not surprised at the idea of Cutiefly evolving into a hummingbird moth considering its concept, though Salandit having split evolutions is pretty interesting. It looked liked it was going to have two more evolutions ahead, but if this leak is true, it doesn't seem to be the case. I'm curious to see how a female Salandit evolution would look like. No comment about the rock-paper-scissors-mon.

The Hala is one of the only questionable parts of this leak for me considering that the Elite 4 is very likely to be removed at the moment. If this leak were true, my guess is that the leaker might've thought the Kahuna are Alola's version of the Elite 4 considering there's one Kahuna for each island; thus, he decided to call Hala "an Elite Four" to avoid confusion. Otherwise, if he stated "Hala is a Kahuna," the leaker would probably have to explain what a Kahuna is.

Lillie being connected to Zygarde matches up with those fan theories explaining how her bag contains a Zygarde Cell. It's a good possibility considering she doesn't look like someone that is native to Alola. With that clothing, she looks like someone from Kalos. I just wonder what would be her motivations for bringing Zygarde to Alola.

Eight legendary Pokemon, not counting Zygarde and the event legendaries? Alright, so we have Solgaleo, Lunala, Tapu Koko, and the other three guardian Pokemon for those other Alola islands. That totals to six legendaries. The seventh legendary will probably be the third legendary to Solgaleo and Lunala similar to Rayquaza to Groudon and Kyogre or Kyurem to Reshiram and Zekrom, but what could be the 8th legendary? Could it be a trio master that is related to the Sun and Moon legendary trio similar to how Arceus is related to the Diamond and Pearl legendary trio as its trio master? That's the only idea I have at the moment.

I am not surprised one about the idea that one of the Tapus uses the Strange Souvenir design. I theorized about that a while ago, and I'm pretty sure it will be the case. 120 new Pokemon sounds great, but I'm not going to get my hopes that high for now.

"Full Metal Body and Shadow Shield are not just Clear Body and Multiscale" is the other questionable part of this leak for me. Those two abilities are indeed variations of Clear Body and Multiscale, with the only difference being the names. Is there something more to Full Metal Body and Shadow Shield that we don't know about at the moment?

A Pokemon more powerful than Arceus in terms of stats? That really got my attention. We already have some Mega Evolutions that surpass Arceus in base stat total (the Mega Mewtwos and Mega Rayquaza), but this detail implies this isn't a Mega Evolution. I'm guessing that Pokemon could either be Perfect Zygarde or the potential trio master of the Sun and Moon legendary trio.

The merge battle mechanic sounded odd at first, but after reading the Tapus can make use of this feature, it makes sense. I only wonder if this is exclusive to the Tapus or we will have other Pokemon that will make use of the merge battle mechanic.

With all that said, I'd say it's best to see how this leak holds up with next week's CoroCoro issue. If Rockruff's "secret evolution" truly matches up with this new leak from Pokebeach, then this may well be a Sun and Moon leak that I will actively follow.

I don't know, but Ryotsu looks a bit too much like Isshin Kurosaki in Kubo's style. Also, dat Matsui style crossover (This is Koro-Sensei's second time cosplaying as Ryo-san).

They all look pretty damn good and colorful in their own ways. Now if only someone can scanlate these like what happened with the 30th anniversary crossovers. Kurogane's artist being there is a relief, but why the hell is Miku Hatsune's designer there? Kimetsu no Yaiba and World Trigger's artist should have been in on this over her (no offense).

Probably not till release. Corocoro says those mons are exclusive to their magazine. So were rockruff and nekrola so we might get them later, but I don't know how likely that would be with a few months left till release.

Before Chapter 24 yeah pretty much.


Only really had any trouble with 2 chapters, one because I was not even trying, and the other because of particularly ****ty luck.


Ryoma and Takumi are just stupidly powerful and pretty much instantly kill everything up to 24. Ryoma is also nearly invulnerable lol.
