Miyamoto has no bias against GX and I know that for a fact.

If those Criterion rumors were legit then it wasn't because of Miyamoto hated GX but that they couldn't find a developer to do it. Don't pull that BS that fans still say like with how Miyamoto hated Donkey Kong Country when he didn't.

Miyamoto has flat out said that he doesn't understand why anyone wants a new F-Zero.

He has gone on record saying he hated GX because it was too hard, and doesn't want to hand it off to another developer because he doesn't want another GX. SEGA have also gone on record saying they are completely open to making another F-Zero for Nintendo, so the claim they can't find a developer is BS.

And he stated that if we are to get another F-Zero, he would develop it, but only if he gets the "right controller". Essentially, he thinks F-Zero will only be worth revisiting if he can force a gimmicky control scheme onto it.

If the Criterion rumour was true, it's likely that was done behind Miyamoto's back. It wouldn't be the first time Nintendo employees had to sneak something under Miyamoto's nose (e.g Rosalina's Storybook, a lot of the dialogue in Link's Awakening, etc).

Still don't like the female base design, the hat ruins it for me.

The Rotom in the pokedex is defiantly an interesting idea, I honestly like seeing the way in which Pokemon builds its world up. Also hoping that one small detail that carries over from X/Y, this is probably only something I really like about it, but I hope that you get to see your Mom's Pokemon like you did in X/Y, it's one of my favorite small details from X/Y cause it actually uses the lore that everyone is supposed to have gone on a Pokemon journey on one point or another.

To catch up on recent points.

A) With Miyamoto, the point that... he's a bit out of touch with his innovations has only seemed to grow more potent as of late. Before the last console generation, we really had 2 "blunders" that we've seen really brought up. Twilight Princess having the tutorial it does because of him wanting there to be a rather expansive opening to let people become adjusted to the Wii Controls.... but obviously needed it to match the content in the Gamecube version. The other is the "procrastination" with F-Zero. The fact that we've gotten such grave missteps AS Sticker Star and SF0 being because of innovations pressed by Miyamoto brings his current abilities into some question in how much he actively should be a part of game development. Some people going so far that in 2014's E3 that it was... almost painful to watch him be so passionate about Project Giant Robot and Project Guard when there was little public interest.

B) Sun & Moon's focus on 4 main islands... namely makes me think that it's focusing on the larger islands, with the smaller ones either having the purpose of being like an individual dungeon like Mt. Pyre or Victory Road, and of course we have to have our big post game Battle Resort like area.

The man was a legend, but he is way past his prime now. He should be letting Ninty's studios work on their own, really. But who has the courage to tell him that?

That's definitely fair, teams can be just as responsible for dragging down a project as they can be for lifting it up above the standard that their leader would be capable of alone. Some people can also be really bad about not understanding that some games just may not fit them.

I do feel Miyamoto's been biting off a bit more than he can chew with the sheer number of projects he handles, though, and if people can actually identify what their problems are instead of aimlessly whining then they may as well share what they've figured out about their preferences so companies have room to listen.

Either way...it seems strange because for the other characters the art pretty much showcases their personalities pretty well...as you can see for Kukui and Hau...but her art shows her with a more annoyed expression and none of the in game footage so far correlates to this as she appears to be more timid...

Its still early though and she very well could showcase this part of her personality later on when we see more footage...

It's a shame that Star Fox Zero bombed and that Star Fox will probably go the way of F-Zero, but I don't think the reviewers were responsible. Mainly because reviews don't actually factor that much into a purchase of game according to the ESA. Although this was back a year ago but probably still holds true today.

From what I've experience, many people see mixed reviews as poor reviews. Many people likely didn't get it because there'd be close to a 50/50 shot of them not enjoying it, based on the seemingly even review split.

Also, apparently Mirror's Edge 2 has a 210 dollar collection edition. That doesn't come with the ****ing game. Collector's editions are so ****ing easy to do yet for some ****ing reason no one can do them right. He was this irresponsible hyperactive kid that wouldn't stop talking whenever you saw him in the game and overall just ended up giving me a headache

There hasn't been a released date confirmed as far as I'm aware. But it's better to keep it vague than give a release date and not follow up on it.
