But really I like Gold because he's arrogant while not being too over the top cocky and his personality is a departure from the typical goody goody Pokemon protagonist like Red. He's almost like if Ash and Gary had a lovechild.

And to be fair he gets a lot stronger when he trains with Red at the end of the GSC chapter.

Personally when it comes to the special protagonists i think Diamond the weakest(i know go figure) but really i didnt enjoy the whole comedy duo thing or the fact that he only becomes a good trainer under stress.He seems to hold down pearl and platinum

As a mod, I don't get a chance to post this very much so for fun:

I wonder how Special XY is.

I only really know that X is supposedly a loner/shut-in and Y is a model.

X is kind of boring IMO. His poker face never really changes throughout the saga. Y is actually a Sky Trainer, not a model (though she changes her hair throughout the story). She's the more interesting of the two IMO.

XY so far is pretty good IMO despite being potentially rushed (will probably be fixed slightly when official volumes are released), at least from what I've been able to read. There's a lot more suspense, Green & Spoon Mewtwo make a welcome return, the "Friends" are not useless/annoying unlike in the games/anime, and Team Flare might take the crown for best villains.

I have only read R/B/G saga and half of the Yellow saga, because they stopped releasing them here after that...

If only there was a site where I could read the rest...

If all rumors about the NX are true it'd be "portable" in the sense you'd need a backpack with all the tech and batteries needed for it. And it would also be somehow better than the WiiU while having last gen graphics?

Nintendo really should break the silence soon. My guess would be doing an announcement sometime between September and December of this year, considering it's launching in March of the next year.

My problem with Nintendo holding off on the announcement this long, is that I can't tell if it's confidence, or insecurity, on their part.

Also I can only see a new Pokémon being on the NX in the first six months if it's a port of Sun & Moon, or a third version exclusive to NX to help boost sales (Pokémon Eclipse?).

And a new Mario could mean anything. It's most likely NSMB or a new kind of 2D Mario. But I don't see it being a 3D game. IIRC, Miyamoto said it'd be a stretch to think the new 3D Mario would be complete enough to present at E3 2017. He's also hinted that the next 3D Mario could be Galaxy 3, and if that is the case, then yeah I could see why it's taking them so long.
