While this may seem out of the blue, I apologize if my political views (especially with the "lesser evil" part) on who I was planning on voting for from the last page went a bit too far. This is mostly due to the fact this whole election is being considered chaotic by many either way and the fact that nobody really likes politics (which as I have said includes me) contributes to that. Agreed. The whole "X is terrible because she/he gets in the way of my ship" excuse is just anyone's way of saying they hate a character for just existing.

I love Light x L as much as the next girl, but I hate how that's a big reason why Misa is considered the worst character in Death Note.

Heh, you've need nothing yet. Wait until five certain Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE submissions show up in a week. You will not be surprised by the reasoning for each character, but I can tell you plenty of fans will be triggered hard when they see them.

I would easily give them to you, but what would be the fun in giving away the surprise. Just watch as they pop up on this blog soon enough. I'd expect most characters to be defended on the spot (but definitely not Barry). A character like him is too irredeemable.

You can trust me when I say it is since the entire cast itself is a mixed bag. But Barry, Itsuki, and Tsubasa definitely get the most flak for their annoying gimmick, blandness, and being the reason why the "idol theme exists" respectively.

I'd like for Metal Gear songs such as Encounter and Snake Eater to be included if Snake makes his grand return, and while Konami has their foot in the door, I'd like a playable Simon Belmont and some classic Castlevania tunes such as Vampire Killer and Bloody Tears to be added as well.

Pipe dreams aside, some Xenoblade X music such as Black Tar and CODENAME Z would be cool to have.

Can't say much on the matter since I only play the main *** Creed titles.

But from what I've seen online, he's mostly hated for being an Irish stereotype. Some even go as far as saying his accent is annoying and atrocious. But he does has his fans, citing him as one of the best payable characters in the entire series.

Rouge, Shadow, Knuckles, Eggman, Tails, Amy, Big, Black Doom, Charmy, the Deadly Six, and Silver were listed for the most common reasons why some fans hated them. Most commonly the whole "being Sonic's friends that dragged the franchise down" cliche.

I mean, I suppose I've seen some Phoenix Wright fans having a bit of a grudge on him due to how much the crossover kinda favoured him over Nick but then again, he's a very well liked character when it comes to the Professor Layton fandom itself....

If you want me to be honest, I can see why that's a thing, but I look at it in a different perspective.
It's less them being there for me, and more Sega never really using them and merely adding new characters after new characters.


Because yeah they do have a bad habit of introducing characters with a lot of potential but then never doing anything with them. Sometimes they're there, and other times they're not.

The most consistent side character would probably be Tails. And even then his role has flipped and flopped every game. Even Eggman, the freaking main antagonist of the franchise, has had his role pushed out in favor of some new reject that will be abandoned later on.


But despite that I don't blame the characters themselves. After all they can't pick and choose what they do. I do however blame Sega's constant spit-balling without doing anything with those that stick.

Just going to take a moment to say Happy Birthday to Itsuki Aoi. Vanilla Protagonist or not, he does have his best moments being the deadpan Everyman that has to put up with Maiko's jobs and his friends.

Unfortunately, Nintendo of America did not bring it up like they did for Kiria on her birthday.

I found Layton and Wrights interaction to be amazing tbh, Wright going to Layton for help and Layton gladly helping him
