As far as I know, Nintendo hasn't done financial results briefings in the first quarter since 2011. Who knows though, there's a very slim chance they'll actually get to do one.

He specifically mentioned the fact that he agreed with people that there's too many FE characters in his Famitsu column. The only reason Corrin was in was due to Sakurai's team convincing him to go with the character and most likely internal pressure from Nintendo/Intelligent Systems to push the release of Fates outside Japan. Hate the fact that they went along with that but it goes to show that reps is still a consideration for Sakurai even if it's not a major consideration.

For a series like Mario or Pokemon reps shouldn't be much of an issue but for FE it should. It's no where near as successful as those two series.

I'm naming my child "& Knuckles" and there is nothing any of you can do to stop me.

The new Inazuma Eleven series looks interesting. I don't totally understand the plot, but I like the parallel world idea, especially since it means we'll get to see the Fubuki bros. in action.

The fact that Raimon has a female goalkeeper also makes me hopeful that female players will be recruitable from the get-go, which is something I was a little worried about given that the original series and IE GO didn't have female players on the main teams until their second games.

Here's hoping the game gets released for the NX or 3DS or something (it'd be nice if GO Galaxy got a release outside of Japan too).

I believe it was the investor's meeting a few moments ago that had the announcement of their sales from this season so far. From what I saw, not a lot but the money they've earned from amiibo has been declining probably because most of the hype for them have begun to dry off, and some of the bigger games that involve amiibo have been on the market for quite some time now. And they still haven't done anything regarding the announcement of the Corrin, Cloud or Bayonetta amiibo... I don't get why they haven't said anything about them since the Final Presentation; it's almost been 7 months...

Probably from the secret gyms we learned about. For example there was the sandshrew guy Ash met. They sort of explained that you could open your own gym and give out badges if the league approved it.

So I think Gary fought some of them. I'ts such an interesting concept that I wish they'd bring back. It be neat to see Ash fight one of the secret leaders as I'll call them over an character from the games.


XY could have gotten away with this because all the leaders had no character built up so it wouldn't matter if someone else took their spot. That said the XY anime is still pretty good.

You know. . the more I think about the NX being a hybrid the more I think it would at least work personally for me.

The 3DS had things added later on down the road that make it seem like it has more character to it than the Wii U. System Themes and Badges. Then there's the fact that I own twice as many physical games for my handhelds as my consoles. And an awful lot of digital games on my 3DS, too, including quite a few full price titles. Give me the couple of console games I end up wanting and the expanded console VC on top of that, and I'm pretty good to go.

Also the contrasting reactions to the NX leak from different schools of thought on hardware are pretty interesting.

I honestly want to wonder where the heck the Cloud Amiibo is specifically... I want to buy that since it's the only other Amiibo at this moment I actually have interest in (and would be my first Final Fantasy themed merchandise. XD)

Maybe Cloud ended up breaking his Limits while Corrin couldn't get past the salt filled corn fields and Bayonetta got eaten by her final smash, thus explaining why we don't have amiibo of these three yet?

I almost wonder if they're saving those Amiibo for Smash NX. That would probably mean it's just a port as everyone has been saying and I've been wishing against, but it would also mean they're saving them for another "wave" which means more Smash 4 newcomers.

That would be awesome if we could fit in 8 new characters if in the events Smash Bros for the Nintendo NX comes true and we end up getting newcomers. This would be a huge opportunity for Nintendo to expand on Smash Bros. this year and for the years to come. A quick list in no particular order (this does not include vets being a newcomer list) of who the 8 should be if that were to happen:

1. King K. Rool for many many good reasons.

2. Isaac (Golden Sun) for being a character from the GBA days and having great ideas for a moveset.

3. Shantae for holding the status of the oldest Indie character and deserving the spot for her history with Nintendo.

4. Krystal in order to help expand the selection for the Star Fox roster, and a new female character with a staff based moveset could be possible.

5. Inklings since they're insanely popular for a new Nintendo IP and would be a smart move for Nintendo.

6. Rayman for his uniqueness (limbless) and the fact he would very well fit in the Smashfest that is Smash Bros.

7. Banjo and Kazooie due to them being from the old Rare days and also fitting within the world of Smash Bros.

8. Bandanna Dee since I honestly believe Kirby should garner at least one more rep; despite the fact Corrin technically has a spear attack with forward smash, Bandanna Dee would have a whole moveset based around his spear. Alternatively, Dark Matter Sword (yes, that's the official name from what I recall for that specific form) could also work if a villain were to be chosen to represent the Kirby series.

Remember, these are just my views and personal wants.

I've probably made this post before, but I will make it again.

In a little over a week, Summer of Sonic 2016 will be on. It's on August 6th, in London. If anyone here is a Sonic fan who lives in the London area (or can feasibly go there on the day) and is interested in going, I have a spare ticket I would like to give to someone else. I wanted to bring two people with me but could only find one person who could go with me. So I have this spare ticket lying around. Your ticket will also entitle you to a free Summer of Sonic t-shirt on the day.

Sonic Mania and Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice will both be playable here, before their release. There will also be other cool stuff, like a gaming lounge with old Sonic games, a Q&A with Mike Pollock, a Crush 40 concert, a jam session with Jun Senoue, free goody bags, contests, vendors that will sell things (possibly merchandise that isn't released publicly yet), and a whole lot more! The event runs from around 10 AM to 7 PM so rest assured, it will be a jam packed day with a lot to do! Summer of Sonic has a six year track record too so the team organising the event are veterans of the convention business, and they are partnering with SEGA to hold the event. Takashi Iizuka will also be attending, and it's worth noting that Summer of Sonic HAS gotten exclusive, first-look reveals in the past. For example, Sonic Lost World got an exclusive trailer for Summer of Sonic 2013, so maybe they'll do the same with one of the upcoming Sonic games and you will witness new gameplay of the upcoming Sonic games before anyone else!
