In other old news I never heard of until now, the Valkyria Azure Revolution developers are finally dropped the damn action RPG gameplay after enough negative feedback from the demo. Thank ****ing God, playing that demo was a nightmare because of the sluggish combat and trying to mix strategy with that type of gameplay was an obvious bad idea. Glad they are actually tweaked the gameplay since this game had the potential to be as good as Valkyria Chronicles. Here's to hoping the characters won't be as disgustingly trope-y as the VC2 cast. Yeeeesssh, I'm already having flashbacks of those horrid characters.

LOL Valkyria Anime School Chronicles Sequel was a huge letdown in terms of characters. Not that the VC1 cast itself was original, but it was at least taken serious and not as cheesy compared to the sequel's cast. Avan is pretty much every shonen protagonist cliche rolled up into one character, even down to having a gag where he accidentally walks in on girls or even groped them. Such a huge shame too, they really did the gameplay some good wonders with class rebalancing and customization. It's like they forgot what made the original cast good when they developed that game.

Also as much as it may be tempting to call all of these leaks the NX controller, remember that in an interview it was stated that Breath of the Wild didn't have touch controls partially because they wanted it to be the same game between Wii U and NX.

I think these patents are either a much smaller part of the big picture than we think they are or they're for something other than the NX. I may not have any reason to trust NeoGaf as a whole, especially after what those jerks did to BluePikmin, but I think we all have a reason to trust Push and he doesn't think the patent is for exactly what's on the picture.

It's really not bad at all. Sound effects/voice modding is the easiest part of Smash Wii U modding.

Getting all of the right programs and plug-ins is a bit of a nuisance and takes some time, but that's something you only have to do the first time.

After that it's just a matter of exporting a character's voice clip .nus3bank in Smash Explorer (or getting someone to do it for you and getting them to send you the file), and getting the voice clips you want to put into the game in .wav/.mp3 format. Then you either put it back into Smash Explorer and pack it, or you can just upload the unpacked voice clip and people can set their SD card folders up so it can run correctly.

Honestly I have more trouble deciding exactly which voice clips I want to use in my mod. Like for the Rosalina and Marth voice mods I made, deciding which voice clips I wanted to use was the hardest part of the process.

Mind telling me how to get started then? I got the voices I want to work with as well and I'm in the process of dumping my own Smash U copy but that's as far as I can go.

Speaking of TMS#FE.
I've got a bit over 40 hours at this point.
Just made it to the start of what I assume is the final chapter by its name and build up in story.
The story itself and character interactions have been far better than I went in expecting.
Some characters (*COUGH* ELANORA *COUGH*) have issues of just being too.... one-note. Especially in a primary cast of 10.

The game has pretty much kept at SMT Hard, especially with the bosses of Chapters 4 and 5. CHRIST.

Mamori is also an outstanding tank.

Really though. The one major thing of censorship is in the swimsuits => hipster clothing of chapter 2.
And the issue is.... in every scene that it gets brought up, and what the photoshoot REPRESENTS is really messed up by this. It really sticks out like a sore thumb.
Especially when a girl asks for a copy of the magazine featuring the shoot because she needs something to motivate "a balance of angelic and demonic charms" of the female form.
Or when you have a woman in her late 20s early thirties posing with teenagers in those outfits.

Making certain idol outfits like Tsubasa's "Shiny Feel" outfit or Kiria's main idol outfit less stripperrific, I get. And honestly most of those edits make things look better.

Aversa's more concealing dark fog? A bit silly, but it's fine (albeit inconsistent).

That one just... really doesn't work. It FEELS like a 4kids edit more than localization and that shouldn't really be said for a game's localization.

Edit: And I wish more lines in regards to in-battle stuff and all the Bloom Palace functions were ACTUALLY TRANSLATED.

Double Edit: The... "third major" complaint is that Requests [your main side quests] have NO in game tracker.

Yeah, except for maybe the villains who were very punch-able with their racism, the main characters of VC2 were definitely not very interesting. To the game's credit, however, it did have a good OST. Managed to catch the Heroes run of SA2 which was cool...cept for skipping 99% of Crazy Gadget and Final Rush (those are very awesome stages to watch cuz so much **** happens, but I guess for the benefit of a speedrun)
